This research integrated the Theory of Planned Behaviour and Integrated Behavioural Model in adapting the variables in determining the intention. This paper has two objectives, initially it aims to contribute to the literature on EI by integrating the Theory of Planned Behavior (TBP) and Integrated Behavior Model (IBM) to the Malaysian settings. Then, it investigated the effect of gender on Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC) and Self Efficacy (SE) towards behavior on students’ entrepreneurial intention in the future. The sample consists of 429 UiTM students who have taken the entrepreneurship course. The data was analyzed using Smart PLS 3.3.7. The findings of this study revealed that gender has no significant relationship with students’ EI, attitude, PBC and SE towards students’ entrepreneurial intention. In terms of the integrated model, the findings discovered that attitude and PBC have a statistically significant relationship with EI. However, SE does not have a significant relationship towards EI. The findings will help the policymakers or the higher education institutes in developing a suitable policy and program in promoting entrepreneurship to the university graduates at the national level.","PeriodicalId":185855,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management Practices","volume":"55 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-06-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130959073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The current study is based on positivism and applies the deductive approach, which confirms the quantitative methodology. The researcher uses a structured and self-administered questionnaire to answer the research hypotheses from the project managers in the Leather Gloves Industry of Sialkot, Pakistan. The empirical evidence showed that the relationship between strategic orientations, organizational learning, and new product launch success is supported significantly. Moreover, market and product orientation do not help the success of recent product launches. However, organizational learning mediates fully with the success of the relationship between market orientation, product orientation, and new product launches. These findings contribute to the firm's owners, managers, policy-makers, and other stakeholders to adopt the succeeding policy and practice.","PeriodicalId":185855,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management Practices","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116910140","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Innovation not only brings competitive advantages to organizations but also, along with science and technology, is the essential assets of nations seeking to secure economic competitiveness with the entrepreneurship sphere. The purposes of this study were to examine and investigate the relationships between cognitive biases, emotions on innovation, share-practiced, trust-based relations, and norms in venture creation with innovation development and entrepreneurial orientation. Survey research was conducted. The study found that such variables as cognitive biases, emotions on innovation, share-practiced, trust-based relations, norms, and innovation development correlated positively with innovation development and entrepreneurial orientation. Results suggested cognitive biases and emotions on innovation as a mechanism that triggers innovation development and that this effect is stronger when they engage in opportunity-based entrepreneurship. Finally, pragmatic implications were discussed on how to utilize these factors to gain competitiveness and sustainability.","PeriodicalId":185855,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management Practices","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114419361","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As the workload increases and improperly managed, workers are certainly exposed to work-related stress, which will not only affect their performance, but also their mental health. Employers may implement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that offers counselling sessions, workshops, support group and others, as a preventive and proactive measure to help their employees to overcome issues associated with work-related stress. Nevertheless, EAP is subject to limitations in terms of its effectiveness, such as its implementation is not optimized by organisations adapting it, and less effective EAP sessions that barely resulted in improvement of workers' mental health. Malaysian law does not stipulate the implementation of EAP in organizations. However, Section 15 (2) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 impliedly supports the introduction of EAP in Malaysia. The purpose of this paper is therefore to explain how employers in Malaysia should implement EAP to help their workers’ mental health well-being, as well as to compare how EAP is implemented in the United Kingdom and Australia. This paper applies qualitative method, which consist of doctrinal legal research approach to understand the program dealing with mental health. Comparative method will also be employed in order to compare the legal frameworks and programs related to mental health well-being in the developed countries such as the United Kingdom and Australia and this involves examination of the similarities and dissimilarities between situations within the same legal system. This paper concludes that the implementation of EAP in an organization will be able to promote the mental health well being of employees.","PeriodicalId":185855,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management Practices","volume":"129 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126865645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Educational institutions, especially smaller ones that lack financial reserves to weather economic storms, are not immune to collapse. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in the Philippines, several schools were fighting for survival. The ongoing COVID-19 outbreak along with other challenges underlines the importance of organizational resilience. Organizational resilience is the capacity to prepare for, anticipate, respond to, cope with, adapt to, and learn from adverse events. It is influenced by lots of factors, including culture and leadership. It is also an interplay of different dimensions, making this construct multilevel. Each level of resilience may or may not necessarily lead to resilience at one level. Therefore, this study used literature review to investigate how resilience at one level can facilitate the development of resilience at another level. Additionally, it also examined the influences of organizational culture and leadership on each organizational resilience level. The results will benefit Filipino-Chinese school administrators, HR practitioners, researchers, school employees, and other decision makers.","PeriodicalId":185855,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Entrepreneurship and Management Practices","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-03-03","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126991863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
