The most common form is pulmonary, but it can also affect any other organ or tissue. A male patient, 43 years old, with important sociodemographic history, as he lives at 3000 meters above sea level in a rural area of the Ecuadorian Sierra, presents acute weight loss and asthenia. He had two hospital admissions with an interval of 1 month, during which he required intensive care for comprehensive management. During the first hospitalization, he presented abdominal septic shock, acute renal failure, and acute myocardial infarction. Coronary angiography was performed, which revealed a muscular bridge in the anterior descending artery. During the second hospitalization, he presented septic shock with a urinary focus. As the symptoms were similar and no underlying diagnosis was found to trigger instability, a simple and contrast-enhanced CT scan was performed, which showed suggestive images of a renal abscess and bilateral apical nodules with a tree-in-bud pattern in the chest. Therefore, a study was performed to detect tuberculosis.

Its early identification constitutes a pillar of the management and treatment of critically ill patients. Its usefulness has been shown both to improve the survival of these patients, as well as to reduce complications related to it, and reduce costs.\u0000Objectives: apply the CONUT scale to assess nutritional risk and as a predictor of mortality. Relate it with causes of admission, stay in the ICU, time on mechanical ventilation, and the state at discharge from the ICU and determine the sensitivity and specificity of the CONUT scale as a predictor of mortality and its comparison with the APACHE II scale.\u0000Methods: it was carried out in the ICU of the "Miguel Enríquez" Hospital for a period of 2 years. The variables applied were: age, sex, ICU stay, origin services, need for mechanical ventilation, discharge status, nutritional status classification according to CONUT and APACHE II.\u0000Results: There was a predominance of males, the average stay was between 1-6 days, and mortality was low. More than 90% of the patients were malnourished, the diagnosis at admission and the use of mechanical ventilation, and no association with mortality was demonstrated.\u0000Conclusions: An association between nutritional status and ICU stay was demonstrated. According to the ROC curve, it was shown that the CONUT has a high sensitivity to predict nutritional risk and its relationship with mortality, compared to the APACHE scale it was low.

As new educational, political and economic scenarios emerge, the challenges for teachers are diverse because they are responsible for responding to the community and society as a whole. The current scenarios are very different from the initial ones of the school, which to this day pursue the purpose of seeking answers. The aim of the work was to identify what students learn and at the same time what are the challenges of the work, profession and teacher training after the pandemic. The teacher is a subject that society demands a particular profile and a degree of responsibility that does not happen with other professions, since he/she has a very complex task that requires many elements. It is necessary in this context to train teachers in a curriculum that develops both deep knowledge of content areas and effective pedagogical understanding, including digital technologies in a cross-cutting manner, with clear learning objectives that include knowledge, skills and attitudes. The study also focuses on the context of COVID-19, being necessary to introduce technologies in a transversal way in initial and continuous teacher training throughout the educational system, but also computational thinking.

Patients suspected of having COVID-19 are transferred to different health facilities, which has caused a saturation in care, for which it is necessary to have a prediction model to classify patients at high risk of clinical deterioration. The objective of the research was to compare classification algorithms based on automatic learning machines, for the prediction of clinical diagnosis in patients with COVID-19. 1000 records of patients with suspected SARS-CoV-2 infection who were admitted by the emergency service in health establishments in Peru were collected. After pre-processing the data and engineering the attributes, a sample of 700 records was determined. Models were designed and algorithms were compared: Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, Nearest Neighbors, Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Navie Bayes. The evaluation of the results of each algorithm was carried out using Accuracy, precision, sensitivity and Chohen's Kappa to know the degree of agreement between the prediction by the learning machine and the results of reality, that is, to what extent both results agree in their measurement. The algorithm that presented the best results was the Support Vector Machine and Random Forest, which predicted the patients with an accuracy of 97%, and Cohen's Kappa of 0.95, with figures higher than the other models evaluated.
