The Council gave the NSAs the mandate to participate in the regional integration agenda and contribute into SADC policy development, roll out, monitoring and evaluation. Ironically, there are no clear systematic mechanisms providing for NSAs’ engagement within the SADC structures and processes despite existence of SADC institutions. The coming in of the AfCFTA agreement sought to create a single African market thereby creating opportunities for NSAs. To date no noticeable increase in Africa intra-trade has been recorded. The study therefore, examines the perspectives on engagement of Non-State-Actors in the context of Regional Integration focusing on SADC region. The findings show that state actors are not involving non-state actors as they discuss regional economic integration agreements. The researcher recommends that valuable additions to regional economic integration and strengthening should be premised on an environment where policies and regulations are formulated from a consultative and inclusivity of NSAs. It is concluded that, when NSAs explore regional markets or create regional value chains, they facilitate regional economic integration from the bottom-up approach through their activities.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"97 41","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139612291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research, grounded in interviews and questionnaires, delves into how collective work dynamics influence employee contentment, particularly in a cultural setting where collectivism is deeply ingrained. A significant positive correlation between teamwork and job satisfaction is revealed through the study, highlighting the importance of collaborative work environments for employee satisfaction. This correlation is substantiated by the strong internal consistency in the reliability analysis of both Job Satisfaction and Teamwork scales. Additionally, the research discusses various factors, including Vietnam's cultural values, rapidly developing economy, and a blend of Asian and Western management styles, contributing to this relationship. The study's findings resonate with the work of several authors in the field, confirming the essential role of teamwork in fostering a satisfied and productive workforce. However, it also acknowledges limitations such as sample diversity and methodological constraints, suggesting a blend of qualitative and quantitative methods and broader industry representation for future research.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"80 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-01-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139612821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The results, obtained from a group of knowledgeable participants who have strong connections to their organisations, indicate a significant agreement in the implementation of environmentally friendly marketing tactics in the specific setting under investigation. Supermarkets are increasingly adopting environmentally conscious practises due to the need to protect the environment, comply with environmental legislation, and meet the growing demand for eco-friendly items. The consumer market demonstrates a greater recognition of the importance of ecological concerns, resulting in a higher need for products that are ecologically friendly. Businesses, in response to this consumer sentiment, are obligated to implement sustainable practises, placing emphasis on the necessity to furnish consumers with thorough information regarding environmentally-friendly items. Adopting environmentally friendly practises is not just a way to save money, but also a way for organisations to gain a competitive edge by establishing themselves as leaders in sustainability. This dedication not only improves the financial position but also adds to favourable environmental results, exemplifying corporate accountability.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":" 24","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139143025","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines the impact of an Entrepreneurship Education Program on entrepreneurial intentions among millennials, with perceived behavior as a mediating variable. The research was conducted in six provinces in Indonesia, specifically on the island of Java, with 557 participants responding to the questionnaires. The study found that the Entrepreneurship Education Program (both Entrepreneurship Education Learning and Entrepreneurship Education Inspiration Tools) had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions. Additionally, perceived behavior partially mediated this effect. The program enhanced respondents' understanding of various aspects of entrepreneurship, such as attitudes, values, motivation, actions, and practical management skills needed to start a business. Overall, the findings highlight the importance of entrepreneurship education programs in fostering entrepreneurial intentions, especially among the millennial generation.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"8 20","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139148026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study seeks to explain the causal relationship between one variable and another, which is known as explanatory (causality) research (Sekaran & Bougie, 2017). Primary data was gathered through questionnaire instruments and in-person interviews with business owners, managers, employees, and customers who bought or sold scrap metal. Secondary data was gathered from publications, journals, the internet, libraries, and associated organizations like the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics. Through the use of observation, interview, and literature study methodologies, data gathering procedures were obtained. Competitive industry analysis with models from Five Porces Porter, competitive advantage, and descriptive analysis with company profile analysis are the analysis methodologies employed in this study. The findings show that: substitute products in the market lessen the threat of replacement products for scrap metal; the level of rivalry among competitors in the scrap metal buying and selling industry is strong; the threat of new entrants into the used buying and selling industry is weak; suppliers have strong bargaining power; and buyers have strong bargaining positions. Key success factors are economies of scale, marketing systems and capacities, financial availability, raw material and technological access.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"41 21","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139161889","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To achieve this objective, the study employs quantitative path analysis methods to evaluate the direct and indirect influences of Banjar cultural environment variables, Leader-Member Exchange, and Organizational Civic Behavior. The study's target population comprises permanent lecturers from 12 secondary schools associated with private universities in Banjarmasin. At the same time, the sampling method involves selecting 30% of the total number of lecturers within the University. The research findings indicate that the Banjar cultural environment significantly impacts the relationship between superiors and subordinates, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000, indicating a strong influence. Moreover, the R Square value of 0.356 in the model summary table suggests that the variable X (Banjar Cultural Environment) contributes to 35.6% of the relationship with Y (Relationship between superiors and subordinates), with the remaining 64.4% influenced by other unexamined variables. Additionally, both variables X (Banjar Cultural Environment) and Y (Relationship between superiors and subordinates) had significance values below 0.05 (0.000 and 0.001, respectively). The R Square value in the model summary table is 0.445, indicating that the combined contribution of variables X and Y to Z amounts to 44.5%, leaving the remaining 54.5% unaccounted for. In conclusion, the research findings suggest that the Banjar cultural environment significantly impacts the relationship between superiors and subordinates, serving as a crucial determinant of leader-member exchange.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"15 10","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-12-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139161539","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A commendable level of commitment has been demonstrated by member states since signing the agreement. Women and youths occupy a critical place in the political economy of Africa, and the success of many continental initiatives such as the AfCFTA agreement is expected to be dependent on the extent to which the youths are mainstreamed in the financial-economic inclusion initiatives. This is largely because Africa is a youthful continent, with women and youth constituting over 60% and 50% respectively of the continent’s population. The current level of inclusion of women and youths in existing AfCFTA programmes does not reflect the expected contribution of this class of population. The main implication of these population classes is the potential job creation challenges on the continent, especially as the labour force is projected to reach about one billion by 2030. This paper, therefore, examined the challenges, opportunities and how women and youth involvement in the process could lead to their financial-economic inclusion and independence in Africa with a focus on the Sub-Saharan region leveraging on the AfCFTA programmes. The study is descriptive in nature. Available secondary data from reports issued by AU, AfCFTA and World Bank was extensively used for the study. A simple percentage method was used for analysing the secondary data in order to show the trend and status of financial inclusion. The findings of the study reflect on ways to improve regional and continental integration frameworks from youth and gender perspectives.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"44 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139210940","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study aims to scrutinize the linguistic and cognitive mechanisms underlying these sayings, which have been used for generations to transmit cultural knowledge and wisdom. Through rigorous qualitative analysis, the study uncovers the context-specific meanings encapsulated within these proverbs, highlighting the cultural, social, and cognitive dimensions that make them a valuable source of traditional wisdom. The main objective of this study is to provide a comprehensive understanding of the Indonesian language and culture by exploring the educational potential of proverbs. The findings show that (1) applying CSA to Indonesian proverbs has revealed that these linguistic expressions are complex interplays of metaphoric and metonymic mappings to represent the pedagogical propositions and (2) Indonesian proverbs have been found to contain intricate nuances, cultural contexts, and societal values concerning the pedagogical propositions. The findings of this study can also serve as a valuable resource for educators and curriculum developers, who can integrate these proverbs into their teaching materials to maximize their academic potential for future generations. By incorporating sayings into educational curricula, students can gain a deeper understanding of cultural values and beliefs, as well as improve their linguistic and cognitive abilities. Overall, this study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the educational value of proverbs, particularly in the Indonesian context. The study findings can be used to enhance the teaching and learning of the Indonesian language and culture and can serve as a basis for future study on the topic.","PeriodicalId":183155,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Innovative Research in Multidisciplinary Education","volume":"58 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139214594","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
