This paper discusses the performance of school committees within the management of school facilities in Batubara district of Indonesia. The concepts of Community based Facility Management (CbFM) and Logometrix was deployed as a basis to measure the school committee performance in order to address the needs of quality school management. The data was collected from questionnaires distributed for those who work with and use school facilities spread over seven sub districts of Batubara, Indonesia. The result revealed that performance of existing school committees needed to improve. The study is based on a three years experience (2008–2010). The following will be clarified, the list of criteria adopted by AMS to ensure quality and the procedures adopted by AMS to apply accreditation standards to ensure quality of outputs.The study followed the iterative descriptive approach in analyzing the topics. The results show the procedures how the standards were applied to ensure the quality of outputs by meeting the requirements in all aspects, national and international, especially of the internationally recognized organization Council on Occupational Education COE, by which the AMS was then accredited in June 2010. A four year development strategic plan is set for the department to ensure consistent quality and improvement standards. By reviewing the literature of former experiences of Arab and international bodies for accreditation and quality assurance, the study concluded a list of accreditation criteria and indicators of quality assurance, as well as indicators to ensure the quality of the university environment. The achieved number of accreditation and quality assurance standards are presented from both national and international organizations and were found to be: 25 accreditation standards leading to 245 indicators, and 41 indicators for QA, and 29 indicators for the QA of the university environment.The study recommended the need to activate the academic accreditation and assessment of academic programs periodically internally and externally. Furthermore, similar departments of applied medical sciences should adopt the presented accreditation and quality assurance principles. EEG data were recorded from 30 students from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, UiTM age 18 to 27 years old. Students were interviewed before EEG recording to find out their music preference. Using EEG, the brainwave signal of the sample is captured twice, once before listening to the music and while listening to the music. Consequently, the brainwave's signal is analyzed and the comparison between these two music genres is discussed. The results demonstrate that 60–80% of the samples show improvement in the alpha band after listening to nasyid while only 56–66% improves after listening to rock music. These findings indicate that the alpha power increases when listening to the nasyid music compare to the rock music. To fulfill the requirement, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has taken necessary steps to implement OBE in each programme offered. An OBE measurement tool known as Summative Assessment Dynamic Model with OBE compliance (SAMOBEC 2.0) was developed by the faculty OBE Committees to facilitate lecturers to conduct their teaching and assessment activities in alignment with the course and programme outcomes. This paper focuses on analyzing the outcome of the course assessment of Modern Control Systems in Electrical Engineering using the available tool. It was found that the tool has provided detailed information from the designing phase until result achievements. From the available plots, the Programme Outcomes of this course has yet to achieve the target set by the faculty. This criterion is driving educators to look for ways to deliver continuous improvement. The programme provides competitive intercultural environment for participants to enhance and further develop their characteristics and attitude while completing their studies. This paper presents an investigation of the personality development for the first five months during the Malaysian-Germany university double degree programme of 2009/2010 batch. The survey participants are UKM engineering students who went to UDE and UKM engineering students who remained in UKM to complete their studies. The study investigates the personality changes which occur with respect to the changes of environment and culture. Simultaneously educationist also taking great interest on blending neuroscience research in their work, hence the Brain-based Learning and Brain-based Education are among the terms which had been geared into limelight recently. By taking into account, that learners' learning style is crucial in succeeding the learning process and the importance of brain as “The Organ of Learning”, we believe that the brain's fingerprint should be put under the research radar in order to discover the reciprocal relation between both entities. In this research, we used electroencephalography (EEG) technology to record a brain signal of our participants (N=41) at resting baseline state of Eyes-Open and Eyes-Closed. Prior to that, we deployed the Kolb's Learning Style Inventory to conduct a learning style classification onto them.
