Diese unterschiedlichen Auffassungen und Definitionen liegen den Argumenten über die Rolle des Staates bei der Erziehung der Nation in diesen Debatten zugrunde. Am Beispiel Preußens, Frankreichs und der Niederlande in den 1870/80er Jahren analysiere ich, welche Rolle dem Staat als „Ersatz“ für die Kirche in der Schule zugeschrieben wurde und welche Rolle die unterschiedlichen und oft gegensätzlichen Definitionen von Religion in der Argumentation hatten.\u0000 L’ère du Kulturkampf apparaît comme un moment historique privilégié dans l’Europe occidentale où l’articulation entre culture et religion est centrale et sujette à des interprétations très divergentes selon les forces politiques et les pays. Ces différentes conceptions et définitions constituent en même temps un enjeu majeur des débats parlementaires autour du rôle de l’Etat dans l’éducation de la nation à cette époque. A partir de l’exemple de la Prusse, de la France et des Pays Bas dans les années 1870/80, l’objet de cette contribution est d’analyser le discours de « remplacement » de l’Eglise par l’Etat dans le domaine de l’école ainsi que les enjeux qui y sont liés pour les définitions de la religion.\u0000 The Kulturkampf era can be seen as a key moment in western European history in which the relationship between culture and religion is a central theme and subject to different interpretations depending on the political actors and the country. These different representations of religion and its role in culture function as premises in arguments regarding the role of the State in national education. Jahrhundert zu einem Wettkampf um religiöse Deutungshoheiten zwischen der religiösen high culture in Gestalt von Landeskirche und Obrigkeit auf der einen Seite und verschiedenen Formen religiöser low culture auf der anderen Seite führte. Letztere verbindet trotz faktischer Rivalität auch untereinander die Betonung einer unbedingten Verbindlichkeit der Bibel in ihrem Wortlaut in Abgrenzung zur (historisch-kritischen) Theologie und einer von Theologen geleiteten Kirche. Seit dem späten 20. Jahrhundert kommt ein Trend zu fundamentalistisch-konservativen Positionen in bewusster Unterscheidung von der Mainstream Culture hinzu, die auch bei den Landeskirchen vermutet wird. Dies führt zu einer Distanzierung von der Landeskirche auch bei solchen Laiengemeinschaften, die sich ursprünglich als Teil der Kirche verstanden.\u0000 En partant de l’exemple fourni par la région du Siegerland dans le Sud de la Westphalie, on étudie comment l’impulsion réformatrice issue de l’idée de « Sacerdoce universel » a conduit depuis le XVIIIe siècle à des tensions et conflits relatifs aux questions d’autorité en matière d’interprétation religieuse. Ces tensions opposaient la high culture religieuse, représentée par l’Église provinciale (Landeskirche) et l’autorité civile, d’une part, et diverses formes de low culture religieuse, d’autre part. Point commun entre ces dernières, au-delà de la rivalité de fait entre elles, l’accent mis sur l’autorité absolue de la Bible par opposition à la théologie (historico-critique) et à une Église dirigée par des théologiens. Depuis la fin du XXe siècle, on observe en outre une tendance fondamentaliste et conservatrice se démarquant consciemment de la culture mainstream, supposée présente également au sein des Églises provinciales. Ceci conduit notamment les communautés de laïcs à prendre leur distance par rapport à ces dernières, dont elles se sentaient initialement partie intégrante.\u0000 By the example of Siegerland in South Westphalia the contribution tracks how the Reformation impulse of the priesthood of all believers caused a competition on religious interpretational regimes between religious High Culture in the shape of the Evangelical Church and the political authority on the one hand, and different varieties of religious Low Culture on the other hand since the 18th century. Besides the factual rivalry, those varieties are connected by emphasising the absolute liability of the Bible in its wording to distinguish it from the (historical-critical) theology and a church that is conducted by theologians. Referenzielle Perspektivierung” analysiert die Erfahrung der kollektiven Resilienz anhand der Untersuchung von humoristischen Bildern, Karikaturen, Wortwitzen und Fotomontagen, die das Leben in der Pandemie thematisieren und in den Jahren 2020 und 2021 im Netz erschienen sind. Die Frage nach einer Alternative zwischen der visuellen kommunikativen Erinnerung und der kulturellen Ära aus denen diese Karikaturen stammen, stand am Anfang der Untersuchung. Durch den Prozess der Fotomontage und der Entfremdung machen sich diese Texte und Bilder eine populäre visuelle Erinnerungskultur zu eigen, die illustrierte Bücher, Comics und Gemälde neu interpretiert und zugleich Zeuge einer Zeit wird, die durch restriktive Maßnahmen geprägt wurde. Der Beitrag stellt zwei Formen der Referentialität fest, die eng miteinander verbunden sind: der Bezug auf die Konjunktur durch den Hinweis auf die Covid-Krise sowie der Rückgriff auf die dauerhafte visuelle Erinnerung. Die Analyse der Art und Weise, wie sich das Korpus in einer gemeinsamen kulturellen Erinnerung einfügt, verdeutlicht die Verflechtung der sozialen Zusammenhänge in einer Zeit sozialer, ökonomischer und politischer Umbrüche. L’article „les caricatures comme manifestations de solidarité csollective face au virus. Enjeux et perspectives de leur valeur référentielle” thématise l’expérience de résilience collective à travers l’étude des images humoristiques et caricatures, blagues, jeux de mots et photomontages ayant pour thème le vécu en contexte pandémique apparues sur le net en 2020 et 2021. La question initiale posée était celle d’une alternative entre la mémoire visuelle communicationnelle et l’aire culturelle respective dont dépendent ces caricatures. Par le biais du détournement et du montage, ces textes et images se réapproprient une culture populaire visuelle qui revisite livres illustrés, bandes dessinées et œuvres picturales classiques tout en se faisant témoins d’une période marquée par les mesures restrictives en période de crise sanitaire. L’article fait le constat de deux formes de référentialité étroitement liées : les références à la conjoncture à travers la référence à la crise du Covid et sa temporalité et le recours à la mémoire visuelle durable. L’analyse de la manière dont le corpus se réinscrit dans une mémoire culturelle commune démontre comment se retisse le lien social dans une période de bouleversements des rapports sociaux, économiques et politiques. {"title":"Ansichten der Pandemie: Die Rezeption des Sarg-Konvoi-Fotos in der deutschen und italienischen Presse","authors":"Silvia Verdiani","doi":"10.2478/sck-2023-0005","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.2478/sck-2023-0005","url":null,"abstract":"Abstract Ziel des vorliegenden beitrags ist es, die Rezeption des traurig berühmten Fotos, das während der Pandemie in Bergamo aufgenommen wurde, in der deutschen Presse zu rekonstruieren und dabei herauszuarbeiten, wie die direkte Kenntnis des Kontextes, in dem das Bild aufgenommen wurde, seine Rezeption in Italien und Deutschland unterschiedlich beeinflusst hat. Auf methodischer Ebene versucht der Beitrag die Auswirkungen des realen Kontextes auf die Bedeutungskonstitution in der digitalen Multimodalität und die pragmatische Organisation und Folgerungsstruktur des Fotos Sarg-Konvoi zu definieren und schlägt ein deskriptives Modell der digitalen Multimodalität in Bezug auf die Bildrezeption vor. L’objectif de cet article est de reconstruire la réception de cette photo tristement célèbre prise à Bergame pendant la pandémie dans la presse allemande, en soulignant comment la connaissance directe du contexte dans lequel l’image a été prise a influencé sa réception différemment en Italie et en Allemagne. Sur le plan méthodologique, l’article tente de définir l’impact du contexte réel sur la constitution du sens dans la multimodalité numérique et l’organisation pragmatique et la structure inférentielle de la photographie et propose un modèle descriptif de la multimodalité numérique en relation avec la réception de l’image. The aim of this paper is to reconstruct the reception of this infamous photo taken in Bergamo during the pandemic in the German press, highlighting how direct knowledge of the context in which the image was taken influenced its reception differently in Italy and Germany.
