Ansichten der Pandemie: Die Rezeption des Sarg-Konvoi-Fotos in der deutschen und italienischen Presse

Abstract

Abstract Ziel des vorliegenden beitrags ist es, die Rezeption des traurig berühmten Fotos, das während der Pandemie in Bergamo aufgenommen wurde, in der deutschen Presse zu rekonstruieren und dabei herauszuarbeiten, wie die direkte Kenntnis des Kontextes, in dem das Bild aufgenommen wurde, seine Rezeption in Italien und Deutschland unterschiedlich beeinflusst hat. Auf methodischer Ebene versucht der Beitrag die Auswirkungen des realen Kontextes auf die Bedeutungskonstitution in der digitalen Multimodalität und die pragmatische Organisation und Folgerungsstruktur des Fotos Sarg-Konvoi zu definieren und schlägt ein deskriptives Modell der digitalen Multimodalität in Bezug auf die Bildrezeption vor. L’objectif de cet article est de reconstruire la réception de cette photo tristement célèbre prise à Bergame pendant la pandémie dans la presse allemande, en soulignant comment la connaissance directe du contexte dans lequel l’image a été prise a influencé sa réception différemment en Italie et en Allemagne. Sur le plan méthodologique, l’article tente de définir l’impact du contexte réel sur la constitution du sens dans la multimodalité numérique et l’organisation pragmatique et la structure inférentielle de la photographie et propose un modèle descriptif de la multimodalité numérique en relation avec la réception de l’image. The aim of this paper is to reconstruct the reception of this infamous photo taken in Bergamo during the pandemic in the German press, highlighting how direct knowledge of the context in which the image was taken influenced its reception differently in Italy and Germany. On a methodological level, the paper attempts to define the impact of the real context on the constitution of meaning in digital multimodality and the pragmatic organization and inferential structure of the photograph and proposes a descriptive model of digital multimodality in relation to image reception.
