The research method used is a qualitative method. The subjects in this evaluation study were the extracurricular trainers of elementary school sports clubs who were registered in the decree on the formation of a sports club by the Head of Hulu Sungai Utara District Education Office. The results showed that most trainers did not understand the basic concepts of coaching, and they did not understand the basic concepts of child development at elementary school age. In conclusion, the trainer did not carry out the preparatory activities properly, and the training ran without any clear direction and goals. Moreover, the trainees are traumatized because the training carried out by the trainer did not pay attention to aspects of child growth and development. In addition, the limitations of advice and supporting infrastructure are the main obstacles in the implementation of training activities carried out. Thus, for the last 3 years (2014-2016), children joining sports clubs in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency have lack of achievements, which is only 2 medals; 1 silver medal from the mini volleyball branch in 2014 and 1 bronze medal from the gymnastic branch in the same year. Furthermore, in 2016 the trainees of Hulu Sungai Utara Elementary School sports club were only able to get rank 4 on the men's chess sport, rank 4 on the men's swimming, rank 6 on the men's table tennis and rank 5 on the male martial arts.","PeriodicalId":179519,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st South Borneo International Conference on Sport Science and Education (SBICSSE 2019)","volume":"6 2","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114099838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Thus, in inquiry students are not only required to master the subject matter but also how they can use their potential. This research uses the action research method using a research design model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart in the form of cycles or rounds of activities that include the stages of 1) planning, 2) action, 3) observation and 4) reflection at each round. The subjects of this study were students’ class of A1 class 52 people and class A2 54 people totally 106 students. The result of this research is before being given an inquiry method, the results of absorption of learning from the whole inquiry learning method. There will be a significant change by conducting action research conducted for 16 meetings with a duration of 2 cycles. Based on the results of the final test percentage on the value of the middle test cycle 1 average is 22.64 %. The value of cycle 2 is 79.25%. There was a significant change. Thus, an increase in the learning outcomes is the basics of self-defense to students.","PeriodicalId":179519,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st South Borneo International Conference on Sport Science and Education (SBICSSE 2019)","volume":"109 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-27","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133045424","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The method used in this study is the Experimental method, namely pre-Experimental Designs in the form of The One Group Pretest and Posttest Design, with a population of 565 people and a sample of 34 people. The instrument used to measure physical fitness as reflected by VO2max is to use a multistage fitness test (MFT) or Bleep Test, Nurhasan, (2007: 201). The sampling technique used in this study is a purposive sampling technique, which is a sampling technique with certain considerations, Sugiyono (2014: 126). The results of the statistical analysis with the t-test obtained Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0.05 thus the t-count was significant. Because the t-test is significant, the null hypothesis (Ho) is accepted stating that there is a difference between the initial test and the final test by providing additional physical activity twice a week through independent assignments outside of learning Physical education against Physical Fitness Levels at SMAN 3 Banjarmasin students. Conclusion: There is an effect of adding Physical Activity 2 times a week through independent assignments outside of learning. Physical education to improve Physical Fitness in students of SMAN 3 Banjarmasin.","PeriodicalId":179519,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st South Borneo International Conference on Sport Science and Education (SBICSSE 2019)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125363680","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
