The paper describes the structure ofknowledge and models the conceptual systems of ordinal numbers in English and Slovak language. In the theory ofterminology, the designation can be expressed by a term, a symbol, and an appellation. Worth noticing is the factthat in the case of mathematical sciences, in algebra, both two types of designations are used, i.e., by a term andpredominantly by a symbol. Mathematical science is precise and systemic. That is the reason why designation by thesymbol is largely used in practice. An additional asset is that this type of designation is understandable across almostall languages and has an international character. It avoids ambiguation and misunderstandings. Moreover, thesymbol saves time and is more economical. The paper focuses on bilingual conceptual systems of ordinal numbers.Conceptual systems facilitate understanding of relationships between the concepts, help to write definitions, andfacilitate comparative analysis. Subject to bilingual conceptual and terminological analysis is also the decimalpositional numeral system, the decimal referring to the use of 10 symbols 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 to construct allnumbers. The comparative analysis contrasts conceptual systems of ones, tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousands,hundred thousands, and millions in the English and Slovak language. The bilingual conceptual system can berepresented by symbols, as well as by the terms in both languages. The conceptual system represents the hierarchybetween the concepts and superordinate and subordinate relationships. Such hierarchical attitude is described interminology as a generic and partitive relationship. In terminology research, the following methods have been used:observation, excerption, conceptual analysis, term analysis, comparative analysis of bilingual conceptual systems,classification of ordinal numbers, and synthesis of data. As a result of contrastive terminology work, (excerption,harmonisation, and terminography), English and Slovak bilingual conceptual systems of ordinal numbers have beenmodelled and displayed in the model of formal and graphical representation of bilingual conceptual systems ofordinal numbers. Systems have shown similarities and differences between the mathematical concepts of bothlanguages. In the case of terminography, the bilingual conceptual systems and terminology records have been readyfor multiple uses, for example, glossary, dictionary, and database …). The English language belongs to analyticallanguages, the Slovak language to synthetical languages. Due to different language types, differences in the conceptsare present. In the conclusion of contrastive terminological research in the conceptual systems, there are somefindings and recommendations for practice. Findings help to model concept structures based on specialisedknowledge of the field and clarify the relations between concepts. Simonovska, Biljana Cekova","doi":"10.35120/kij5404699s","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35120/kij5404699s","url":null,"abstract":"The aim of the research: To give an account of the development of the health network in the area of thePHI - Shtip, a complete review of the employed health workers and health associates, as well as the administrativeand technical staff and, based on the demographic data according to the 2021 census, to give an assessment of thestandards with the provided staff in the separate activities of primary and secоndary health care.Researchmethodology: The Report on the organizational structure, personnel and equipment of the health facilities (form no.3-00-60), which the health facilities submit to the Public Health Center once a year, served as a source of data. Thedata are presented in tables and graphs, where the staff is shown by profile and professional training.Results of theresearch: The network of health institutions in the area of the Center for Public Health - Shtip for 2021 was providedby a total of 194 health institutions, of which 8 public health institutions and 186 private health institutions. The totalstaff in all health institutions was 1360 employees, of which 316 were doctors (23.2%) – of which 175 werespecialists, 88 were dentists and specialist dentists (6.4%), 70 were pharmacists and specialist pharmacists (5.1%).22 health workers (1.6%), 661 health workers with high, short cycle tertiary education and intermediate professionaldegrees (48.6%), 50 health workers with lower professional degrees (3.6%), as well as 153 administrative andtechnical workers ( 11.2%). A standard of 280 inhabitants per 1 doctor, 1006 inhabitants per 1 dentist was achieved.As well as 1265 inhabitants for 1 pharmacist, which represent very good standards for these activities. The ratio ofhealth workers with high, short cycle tertiary education and intermediate professional to/doctors is 2.0 on average.According to the Decree on the network of health care facilities at the level of primary health care, more teams (76)than the stipulated standard (70) teams work in the activity of general medicine, and more teams (12) than thestipulated norm (9) work in the activity of children's health care team. The norm for the activity of gynecology andobstetrics (health care of women) has been observed and amounts to 13 teams. These calculated norms at the levelof the area were obtained according to the basic demographic characteristics for the given age group according tothe Population Census 2021.Conclusions: The network of health institutions at the district level of the Center for Public Health - Shtip is wellspread, among other public and health care institutions that provide primary and secondary health care to thepopulation. Using the protan CVD algorithm, theimages are recolored, so that they are suitable for use by protan CVD people. In the first part, a trichromaticanomaly of the protanomaly type is described. After that, the protan CVD algorithm is described. The second part ofthe paper describes the Experiment in which the effectiveness of the CVD algorithm was tested. The CVD algorithmwas applied to images from the Ishihara color blindness test database, which were purposely formed to detect protanCVD persons. The results of the Experiment are shown using images and numerical values of the average chromaticdifference between every two pixels of the image. Finally, a comparative analysis of the results using objective(analysis of chromatic differences) and subjective (visual inspection of the image) methods is presented. The goal is to emphasize the importance of the environment, its protection and thepreservation of the world around us. Recycling is a key component of modern waste reduction. It promotesenvironmental sustainability by removing input raw materials and redirecting waste production into the economicsystem. The question of environmental protection is a question of the future. It is not possible to protect theenvironment if we do not prevent the accumulation of various wastes, the sanctioning of which is constantlypostponed. Urbanization and globalization bring increasing needs of each individual for packaged goods, whichleads to a huge increase in packaging worldwide. The development of industry leads to increased industrial waste.The only way to control waste is recycling treatment. By recycling, in addition to the reduction of waste disposed ofin landfills, we enable re-production, i.e. the use of waste for the re-production of a product. The recycling processhas a huge ecological and economic importance in the system of a country. For a recycling program to work, a large,stable supply of recyclable materials is essential. High-quality recycling can support economic growth bymaximizing the value of waste materials. Three legal options have been used to create such stockpiles: compulsorycollection of recycling, a law on depositing containers and a ban on waste. Compulsory collection laws set recyclingtargets for cities, so a percentage of the material must be diverted from the city's waste stream by a target date. Thecity is responsible for working towards this goal. Recyclable quality not only supports high-quality recycling but canalso bring significant environmental benefits by reducing, reusing and keeping products out of landfills. Anytreatment that is planned to be used in the recycling process must be justified by legal regulations. The keyinstitutional responsibility in the field of waste management lies with the Ministry of Environmental Protection ofthe Republic of Serbia, which, in accordance with the Law on Ministries, performs state administration tasks relatedto: waste management, including hazardous waste, except for radioactive waste; approval of cross-border transportof waste, as well as other tasks specified by law. The paper presents the principle of municipal waste management inthe Republic of Serbia. By reviewing data from abroad, the goals that the Republic of Serbia strives to achieve inthis matter are analyzed, as well as the legal frameworks that regulate the achievement of those goals. The analysisincludes the recycling process itself, its flows, as well as waste management treatments. Koceva, Snezana Kirova, Bijlana Ivanova","doi":"10.35120/kij5405779v","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35120/kij5405779v","url":null,"abstract":"The original corpus of the linguistic material for this paper are the Grimm Brothers’ tales, in original inGerman and translated into Macedonian, English and Italian. The indicated phraseologisms are widely used today inboth languages, which only proves their fluency in modern language trends. The basic criterion for classificationrefers to the phraseologisms that are related to the main character in the fairy tale, i.e., the hero who goes through hisown initiation journey. In this paper the focus shifts to the two heroines in the fairy tales \"Snow White\" and\"Cinderella\" who have the common status of \"innocently persecuted heroines\". The tales \"Snow White\" and\"Cinderella\" are the two most famous tales by the Brothers Grimm. Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm's interest in Germanfairy tales began in 1812 with the publication of Kinder - und Hausmärchen (\"Children's and Household Tales\").The fairy tales \"Snow White\" (Schneewittchen) and \"Cinderella\" (Achenputtel) were then published. Although thereare many variants of these stories in the world and with different titles, we would still dwell on their integral text.The aim of this scientific research paper is to present the similarities and differences in the phraseological units thatare used in the same context, but in completely different language systems: German, English, Italian andMacedonian. The linguistic approach initiates the conclusion that phraseological units function at the morphological,syntactic and semantic level of the text, which means that they have a wide range of meanings. Phraseologisms arespecific linguistic expressions composed of two or more words that form linguistic units recognizable for thelinguistic environment of the speaker. The linguistic-cultural richness of the indicated languages, Macedonian andGerman and English and Italian is recognized by using phraseologisms as a tool for presenting the external andinternal description of the character, but also the description of his/her socio-economic status in the community. Thephraseologisms referring to the heroines in both tales are characterized by imagery, which gives the text a richcolorful structure. The imagery is achieved through the use of the comparative approach, i.e., through phraseologicalunits that are built on the basis of comparison; the text is also enriched at reception and each reader creates his/herown individual image. The phraseological material in the fairy tales is quite rich, especially in the fairy tale \"SnowWhite\". These two most widespread tales of the Brothers Grimm are analyzed in science from various aspects. Forus, the target group were students who, in the process of education, acquired knowledge about the meaning ofphraseological units and are able to recognize them in a given text. The work fuses the knowledge from the field offolklore and from the field of language, in correlation with the teaching process, through which students acquirenecessary knowledge from both fields of interest. {"title":"ANALYSIS OF TRANSFER AND APPLICATION OF THE CONCEPTUAL DIMENSIONS OF THE HISTORICAL COSTUME FROM THE XIX CENTURY IN THE PRACTICE OF THE FASHION DESIGNERS OF WOMEN'S FASHION IN THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY – YEAR 2003 (SPRING-SUMMER COLLECTIONS)","authors":"Marija Kertakova","doi":"10.35120/kij5405835k","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.35120/kij5405835k","url":null,"abstract":"As a researcher, my attention is drawn to the fashion costume throughout the 19th century and its replicasthat we find in the fashion costume at the beginning of the 21st century. I am convinced that the issue of„implication” in fashion has not been considered from a scientific point of view, both by public consciousness (inthe specialized circles of fashion designers) and by the individual consumer. On one hand, the potential that containsthe implication in the fashion costume is increasingly penetrating the artistic culture of designing and producingfashion clothes and accessories. On the other hand, the wide consumption and strong influence of fashion on humanlife impose the need not only for a philosophical or sociological analysis of the new phenomena of culture, but alsofor a comprehensive and in-depth scientific-theoretical study of the implication in fashion covered by postmodernistideas. In the context of my work on the implication of 19th-century costume in fashion trends in 2003, I am alsoreminded of Ambrose Bierce's statement about fashion as „a despot whom clever people sneer at but obey”. And itseems to me that this subjugation (among other things) underlies the industrial production of fashion clothing today,as well as the implication of 19th century costume in contemporary fashion. Even the French philosopher PierreBoast admits that „many women have died as martyrs to the fashion that forced them to sacrifice modesty fornudity”. This bright and aphoristic thought very well illustrates the relevance of the topic of fashion in clothing. Itnot only has deep historical roots, it is not only a plastic or aesthetic phenomenon, but it is also a phenomenondeeply related to human health. With this example, I want to emphasize that the implications of fashion today have asignificant meaning for man. This is important to researchers because many of the fashion designers who worked inthe 20th century drew heavily from the fashions of generations long gone. In conclusion, I would like to remind youthat my aim was for my research of the phenomenon to follow the internal logic of the transfer of artistic (materialand spiritual) values during the researched period. The text seeks to organize and show the various ways and levelsat which the implication has manifested itself in fashion since the turn of the Millennium. Up to the 1980s, asbestos has been used for strengthening the construction materials widely used for theconstruction of business and living buildings.The intention of this paper is targeted to the broader auditorium in order to spread knowledge of the hidden dangerin buildings we are spending most of our lives, working, and resting time. Specialised communication in medicine isimpossible without recognizing the unique role of Latin being the language of scientific progress in the processes ofaccumulation, preservation, documentation, and transfer of knowledge and expertise. The comparative terminologyresearch deals with the identification, analysis, and assessment of Latin terms used in the English and Slovakneurological environment in the modern era. Latin presents the foundation of medical terminology and has beenused since the beginning of the formation of medicine as a scientific discipline. The theoretical part of the paperdefines basic terminological concepts and focuses on the field of neurology, English/Slovak neurology specialty,research methods, and methods of terminology work. To achieve the objective of the paper the following methodshave been used: observation, excerption, conceptual analysis, term analysis, comparative analysis, classification ofterms, and synthesis of data. It also describes the historical development of Latin, and medicine including medicalterminology. Specialised medical language and terminology performs at international and national levels. Besidesthat, the paper describes the Greek influence on medical terminology and the importance of terminology literacy andterminology culture. The empirical part deals with the terminology work consisting of excerption, harmonization,and terminography. Many bilingual terminology records have been compiled with equivalents and terminologycontexts and prepared for multiple uses as a terminology product: glossary, dictionary, database…). Neurologicalterms of Latin origin are excerpted from highly specialised neurology papers (100 terms from English papers, 155terms from Slovak ones, 255 excerpted terms with their equivalents in total). As a result of partial comparativeterminology, analysis terms have been classified according to their degree of assimilation and latinity. 100neurological terms excerpted from the English written papers are divided into 3 categories: 46 multiple-assimilatedterms, 45 Latin assimilated terms, and 9 semi-assimilated terms. 155 neurological terms excerpted from the Slovakwritten papers are assigned into 4 categories: 75 multiple-assimilated terms, 63 Latin assimilated terms, 15 nonassimilatedterms, and 2 semi-assimilated terms.
