The first scheme is a combination of a pneumatic energy accumulator and a pellet boiler of a special design. A pneumatic accumulator is designed to generate electrical energy in the amount necessary to power the auxiliary pellet boiler systems in the event of an emergency shutdown of the centralized power supply. During the study, it was determined that in order to increase the working time of the complex from a charged accumulator, it is advisable to heat the air at the entrance of the expander with combustion products taken from the gas pipeline of the boiler. Heating the air to 400°C at a fixed pressure increases the operating time of the boiler from the charged accumulator by 81.5% due to the reduction of the air consumption which is required to provide the specified electric power. The specialty of the second scheme is the possibility of reliable heat supply during the complete absence of any connection to the power supply network. As a result of the variant simulation of the thermal scheme, it was established that at a temperature of 400°C of the heated air and at a pressure of 3 bar, the power of the expander is sufficient enough to ensure the operation of the compressor and to cover the boiler's auxiliaries.","PeriodicalId":177690,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130372798","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The article reviews the ways to increase energy efficiency and reduce the costs of resources in industrial separation processes, assesses the possibility of using a heat pump as a secondary energy recycler in industrial separation processes. Calculation and comparative analysis of closed and open circuits for switching the heat pump into industrial separation facilities are presented. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained, it can be concluded that when using the “rectification column-heat pump of a closed type” installation, the heat energy consumption in the form of heating steam is reduced by 20% compared to the traditional installation, with the “rectification column-heat pump of open type” energy consumption is reduced by 35%. Also, the overall dimensions of the column itself are reduced, hence, the design becomes less metal-consuming, capital costs are reduced. The feasibility study of the option of switching the heat pump into industrial separation processes is given.","PeriodicalId":177690,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132410128","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It provides an additional insight into behaviour of physico-chemical process as the mathematical apparatus which was used to write this model completely interprets all subtleties of the proceeding process. Also it describes the necessity of combining thermal conductivity and diffusion equations into one model to ensure the most exact calculations of the heat-producing system and to form key parameters controlling system of the installation based on this model. In addition, the research considers analogy between process of filtering and process of efflux of diesel fuel through the layer of porous catalyst. Also, remember, that the medium consisting of mutually soluble chemically active components is exposed to filtering. The difference of homogeneous media from the complex heterogeneous substance considered in this case is in the presence of numerous interphase boundaries at the microlevel. At the same time each constituent phase occupies only a part of elementary volume of the saturated porous medium. Thus, in this paper the process of diesel fuel hydrotreating is considered as a combination of mass-exchanging, thermodynamic and filtrational processes. The cause of this point is that nowadays in literature the hydrotreating process is described mostly as heat-exchange, and the mass exchange is reported in the field of physical chemistry to describe the process kinetics. The article provides an addition to the existing diesel fuel hydrotreating reactor model that represents the description of thermal processes occurring in the active zone of the reactor [1]. This scientific research will help further understand problems of control of the object key parameters in detail [2], and further - to improve the process by transforming its mathematical description.","PeriodicalId":177690,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133797990","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The features of the considered lightning detection network are shown when lightning is detected in a given region. The comparative illustrations of discharges from two systems for some days with different thunderstorm activity are given. The similarity of the lightning discharges distribution is shown. Studies show that a large number of lightning detectors in a lightning network considerable improve the accuracy of determining the location of lightning. At the same time, a multidetector network, unlike a single lightning detector, does not determine the lightning polarity. Therefore the experiment revealing reliability of lightning discharge polarity determination has been made. This result allows uniting the systems that provides a basis for lightning detection development in Kola region.","PeriodicalId":177690,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117251272","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the unbalanced system of electrical voltages (sinusoidal taken as a first approximation), except a constant electromagnetic torque component comprises in all cases the significant harmonic component of 100 Hz frequency, and in cases of squirrel cage broken bars presence - in the time harmonics spectrum frequencies from 10 Hz to 110 Hz. If we take into account non-sinusoidal form of feeding voltages signals then we shall have frequency range from 10 Hz to 700 Hz. As the NVA-55 motor bearing failures are significant, it is assumed that a contributing factor is the cyclic alternating load on the electromagnetic torque ripple causing metal fatigue failure. Proposed to use the AC variable frequency drive based on autonomous voltage inverter with pulse-width modulation control for feeding an auxiliary induction electric machines. This ensures symmetry and three-phase voltage stabilization that provides a constant sign for the electromagnetic torque of the motor with low ripple, shifted to higher frequency range.","PeriodicalId":177690,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120981581","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The development of new types of porous heat exchangers and the prediction of their operating modes is a crucial task when creating stable heat removal systems. A model of a hybrid recuperative porous heat exchanger is developed, which differs from the already known models with the availability of an additional circuit for cooling external walls. The thermal and hydraulic characteristics in porous heat exchangers are tested using the example of planar geometry under conditions of intense heat generation from compact surfaces. Within the framework of the phenomenological theory, a mathematical model of convective heat transfer in a porous heat-exchange element for the conjugate Darcy-Brinkman-Forchheimer equations and Schumann equations is proposed for thermal boundary conditions of the first and second order. An exact analytical solution of the hydrodynamic and thermal problems is obtained. The influence of porosity, permeability, Darcy and Reynolds numbers on the thermal and hydraulic conditions in a porous compact heat exchanger was evaluated. A comparative analysis showed the efficiency of a double-circuit cooling system with a porous regenerative heat exchanger. The rational ranges of hydraulic and thermal characteristics of the developed porous compact heat exchangers are determined taking into account the presence of the second circuit, critical operating modes are tested. The variant of realization of a double-circuit cooling system is proposed.","PeriodicalId":177690,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Multi-Conference on Industrial Engineering and Modern Technologies (FarEastCon)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116048871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The experimental results allow one to identify the operation of scattering with the damage parameter. In this case, forming processes allow to control the level of material damage, to coordinate with technological limitations, due to the optimal choice of the deformational path in time. The problem of deformation in creep with contact conditions is solved by the finite element method. As the optimization criterion, the dissipation work accumulated in the process of deformation is adopted. Taking into account the time-discrete equations of the step-by-step integration procedure and the minimized functional, a discrete optimal control problem is formulated. In this formulation, the Bellman function is constructed and the problem is solved by the method of dynamic programming.
