The purpose of this study was to predict the antineuroinflammatory effect of 96% ethanol extract of cultivated Marsilea crenata Presl. leaves in HMC3 microglia cells through activated ER measurements, and observed using the immunocytochemistry method. IFN? is induced into cells 24 hours before treatment to cause an inflammatory condition. 96% ethanol extract of cultivated Marsilea crenata Presl. leaves is given at a dose of 62.5; 125; and 250 ?g/ml. Genistein 50 ?m was used as a positive control. The results showed that 96% ethanol extract of cultivated Marsilea crenata Presl. leaves at doses of 125 and 250 ?g/ml can decrease free ER? expression with values ??of 814,216 and 573,190 AU at p <0.05, and shows an increase in the amount of activated ER?. From these results it can be concluded that the 96% ethanol extract of cultivated Marsilea crenata Presl. leaves provides a potential antineuroinflammatory effect shown by the decreasing of free ER? expression on HMC3 microglia cells with 250 ?g/ml as the best dose. \u0000Keywords: antineuroinflammation; ER?; phytoestrogens; Marsilea crenata Presl.; HMC3 microglia cells \u0000ABSTRAK \u0000Neuroinflamasi merupakan penyakit neurodegeneratif yang disebabkan defisiensi estrogen. Marsilea crenata Presl. merupakan tumbuhan yang mengandung fitoestrogen, yaitu senyawa yang dapat menggantikan fungsi estrogen dalam menjaga homeostasis sel di dalam otak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memprediksi efek antineuroinflamasi dari ekstrak etanol 96% daun Marsilea crenata Presl. budidaya pada sel mikroglia HMC3 melalui pengukuran ER teraktivasi, dan diamati menggunakan metode immunocytochemistry. IFN? diinduksikan ke dalam sel 24 jam sebelum perlakuan untuk menimbulkan kondisi inflamasi. Ekstrak etanol 96% daun Marsilea crenata Presl. budidaya diberikan dengan dosis 62.5; 125; dan 250 ?g/ml. Genistein 50 ?m digunakan sebagai kontrol positif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol 96% daun Marsilea crenata Presl. budidaya dengan dosis 125 dan 250 ?g/ml dapat menurunkan ekspresi ER? bebas dengan nilai 814.216 dan 573.190 AU pada p<0.05, serta menunjukkan peningkatan jumlah ER? teraktivasi. Bau yang tidak sedap dapat berasal dari tempat lembab.Tingginya kekayaan hayati di Indonesia, memiliki peluang besar untuk memanfaatkannya sebagai produk pewangi alami. Salah satu produk pewangi dan penyerap bau tidak sedap (absorbent) yaitu memanfaatkan biji kopi robusta (Coffea robusta). Salah satu komponen biji kopi robusta yang jarang dimanfaatkan yaitu kulit ari kopi yang didapatkan saat proses sangrai. Seluruh komponen biji kopi terbukti memiliki kandungan volatile yang tinggi dan beragam, melihat kulit ari kopi yang jarang dimanfaatkan, maka dilakukan ekstraksi minyak atsiri dari kulit ari kopi robusta dengan pelarut metanol. Analisis minyak atsiri yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode GC-MS, menyatakan bahwa dalam ekstrak kulit ari biji kopi robusta komponen volatile yang terdapat dalam ekstrak kulit ari biji kopi robusta yaitu trans-Caryophyllene (1,4.56%), Germacrene D (2, 3.59%), alpha-Farnesene (3, 4.35%) dan Pentan-1,3-dioldiisobutyrate (4, 10.22%). The main causes of drug shortages were economic and regulation, business problem, manufacture and supply chain. During this pandemic, the main causes of drug shortages are many pharmaceutical industries closures due to quarantine, logistical problems caused by border closure, export bans, quarantine of exporting active subtances and drugs’countries, increased demand and pilling up. However, this problem has been overcome by making policies and good cooperation between governments, regulatory institution and the pharmaceutical industry throughout the world. Kulit durian memiliki kandungan metabolit sekunder yaitu flavonoid yang memiliki aktivitas sebagai antibakteri. Bakteri yang menjadi penyebab terjadinya jerawat adalah Propionibacterium acnes dan Staphylococcus aureus. Ekstrak diperoleh dengan cara maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 70%. Ekstrak etanol kulit durian  yang diperoleh dibuat dalam 3 seri konsentrasi 10%, 15% dan 25% kemudian diujikan pada bakteri propionibacterium acnes dan staphylococcus aureus. But this process requires a relatively long that made some pharmacies preparing medications using a tablet crusher machine. There is a possibility of crushed using a tablet crusher will reduce the stability of certain types of drugs if direct contact with the metal blender machine. Purpose: the variable examined was the stability of the region, namely drug comparison of levels of a drug that dipreparasi uses a tablet crusher and mortar in the primary health care facility pharmacies. Methods: UV-VIS spectrophotometry. Results: the maximum wavelength of klorfeniramine maleate acquired was 261.5 nm and paracetamol is 247.7 nm. % recovery of klorfeniramine maleate raw is ± 2.8% whereas 99.82 on paracetamol is 2.09% ± 100.17. The result of the calculation precision value was obtained by tests at on klorfeniramine maleate is 0.76% whereas on paracetamol is 1.13%. LOD and LOQ of klorfeniramine maleate is 3.20 ± 0.05 and 0.15 ± 9.7 while the LOD and LOQ of paracetamol is 0.38 ± 0.22 and 1.16 ± 0.56. Preparation of comparative test results time crushed with a levels has been made aware that the value of significance test of the Mann Whitney absence of difference levels of drugs that are dipreparasi using mortars and tablet crusher. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan antibakteri senyawa kimia di dalam ekstrak etanol daun kapas terhadap bakteri Staphylococcus epidermidis dan Propionibacterium acnes yang ditandai dengan terbentuknya zona hambat. Ekstraksi daun kapas dilakukan secara maserasi menggunakan etanol 96%. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan dengan metode difusi agar dengan teknik sumuran dan ekstrak uji dibuat seri konsentrasi. Kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) bioautografi dan pereaksi kromogenik digunakan dalam identifikasi golongan senyawa yang mempunyai aktivitas antibakteri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol daun kapas dengan konsentrasi 50% memberikan daya hambat terbesar terhadap Staphylococcus epidermidis dengan diameter 12,28±0,63 mm sedangkan ekstrak etanol 70% memberikan aktivitas terbesar terhadap Propionibacterium acnes dengan diameter 11,40±0,32 mm. The incidence of antibiotic resistance in typhoid therapy can occur due to inappropriate use of antibiotics. This study aims to determine patterns of antibiotic use as well as the quality and quantity of antibiotic use in typhoid therapy in one of the provincial government hospitals in Bali. This study was an observational study conducted retrospectively which was analyzed using the Gyssens and ATC/DDD methods. The research data were taken from the medical records of patients in the January-December 2019 period that met the inclusion criteria. The results showed that of the 40 total antibiotics prescribing, ceftriaxone was the most widely used antibiotic for typhoid therapy. The quality of antibiotic use as much as 40% is stated rational (category 0), while the other 60% is irrational (categories I-VI) which includes the use of antibiotics with incorrect interval of administration (IIB; 5%), the use of antibiotics that is too long (IIIA; 40%), the use of antibiotics that are too short (IIIB; 5%), there are other antibiotics that are more effective (IVA; 5%), and there are other antibiotics that are less toxic/safer (IVB; 5%). The quantity of antibiotic use was stated more than WHO standards which includes the use of ceftriaxone at 83.80 DDD/100 patient days; levofloxacin at 27.47 DDD/100 patient days; and azithromycin at 3.52 DDD/100 patient days. Pengembangan sediaan emulsi ekstrak kunyit sebagai obat maag karena kandungan kurkumin pada ekstrak kunyit bersifat tidak larut dalam air dan kunyit memiliki rasa yang agak pahit. Penggunaan Pulvis Gummi Arabicum (PGA) sebagai emulgator karena dapat menghasilkan emulsi yang sangat stabil. Variasi konsentrasi PGA yaitu 25% dan 30%. Kedua formula yang dibuat memiliki warna coklat, berbau khas aroma mint, dan bertekstur kental. Nilai rheologi dan viskositas mengikuti Pseudoplastis. Pengujian redispersi pada formula 1 dan formula 2 menunjukkan 3 kali pengocokan pada formula 1 dan 2 kali pengocokan pada formula 2 untuk sediaan dapat terdispersi kembali secara homogen. Pada pengukuran pH Formula F1 memiliki pH 4,7, sedangkan formula F2 memiliki pH 4,79. Pengujian tipe emulsi dilakukan dengan metode pengenceran pada kedua formula menunjukkan tipe minyak dalam air. Pada penelitian ini konsentrasi 30% menghasilkan emulsi yang baik dengan waktu terdispersi kembali lebih cepat dibandingkan konsentrasi 25%. Granul dengan bahan pengikat PVP memiliki sifat alir yang baik, sudut diam yang minimum, menghasilkan fines lebih sedikit dan daya kompaktibilitasnya lebih baik. Variasi konsentrasi polivinil pirolidon (PVP) yang digunakan yaitu 1%, 3%, 5%. Pembuatan tablet menggunakan metode granulasi basah. Uji kelembapan menujukkan bahwa ketiga formula memenuhi persyaratan dengan rentang 2- 5%. Distribusi ukuran partikel ketiga formula baik karena keseragaman ukuran granul telah seragam. Uji laju alir menunjukkan bahwa ketiga formula memenuhi persyaratan yaitu >10 gram/detik. Uji sudut diam hanya dipenuhi oleh formula 1 yaitu kurang dari ?30o. Uji kompresibilitas granul memenuhi persyaratan yakni kurang dari 20%. Tablet yang dihasilkan berbentuk bundar cembung, bau aromatik, dan warna coklat kehitaman. Uji kerapuhan ketiga formula sudah memenuhi syarat yaitu dibawah 1%. Uji keseragaman bobot dalam sediaan tablet ketiga formula yang dibuat telah memenuhi syarat. Waktu hancur yang diperoleh tidak memenuhi persyaratan yaitu kurang dari 15 menit. Endothelial dysfunction will activate the Nuclear Factor Kappa B (NF-kB) pathway involving IKK proteins. Terpinen4-ol is constituent found in the bangle (Zingiber cassumunar) rhizome. The purpose of this study were to determine the affinity and mechanisms of terpinen-4-ol against IKK protein as anti-inflammatory in atherosclerosis performed using molecular docking method. The docking result are assessed from the binding energy and hydrogen bonds formed between terpinen-4-ol and protein. The result showed that terpinen-4-ol has activity in inhibiting the inflammatory process because it is able to disturb IKK protein with bond energy values -4.89 kcal/mol. The molecular mechanism in inhibiting the activity of IKK protein through the formation of hydrogen bonds in these proteins.
