Hamid","doi":"10.22146/jsv.69584","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.22146/jsv.69584","url":null,"abstract":"The purpose of this study is to determine effect of antiinflammation of Thitonia diversifolia (TD) extracts in histopathology liver and pancretic tissue on alloxan-induced in Wistar rat. Thirty two male Wistar rats (Rattus norvegicus) with a body weight (bw)150-200 g in 3 month of age, were allocated into four groups, with eight animals per group. The control group received normal saline (P0), positive control group received CMC Na 0.01% (P1), the treatment group were received 100 mg/kg bw of the TD extracts (P2) and received 100 mg/kg bw of the metformin (P3) respectively for 7 days. Bloods serum collected for measuring of blood glucose (BG). cholesterol and insulin (INS) concentrations. The levels of insulin (INS) concentrations were analysed by Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) Sandwich-ELISA. All animal were sacrified for tissue staining with haematoxylin eosin. Thitonia diversifolia extract significantly decreased the level of blood glucoseand choelsterol concentrations compared to the postive control group (p<0.05). The level of INS could be detected by its level significantly increased in TD treatment group (p<0.05). Histopathological showed that induction of alloxan could effect severe multifocal degeneration, vacuolisation, cell inflammation, acute langerhan cells injury with destruction cells. Immunohistochemical staining labeled with IL-1β monoclonal antibodies (Mab) showed lowering expression of IL-1β reveal as brownish color aggregates on the langerhans cells in the TD treatment group. Dampak kerugian secara ekonomi bagi peternak sangat nyata disebabkan rendahnya efisiensi reproduksi dan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui waktu ovulasi dan angka kebuntingan pada sapi perah yang mengalami kawin berulang setelah pemberian GnRH, vitamin ADE dan infusi iodium povidon. Sebanyak 24 ekor sapi perah FH betina pernah beranak, mempunyai korpus luteum, tidak bunting, umur 3-6 tahun, mengalami kawin berulang, secara klinis sehat dan siklus reproduksi normal digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Sapi dibagi 4 kelompok terdiri dari 6 ekor per kelompok perlakuan. Kelompok P1 sebagai kontrol, kelompok P2 diberi GnRH dosis 250 µg per ekor (Gonadorelin, FertagylTM, Intervet, International B.V., Boxmer, Holland), kelompok P3 diberi vitamin ADE dengan dosis 5 ml dan infusi iodium povidon 1% secara intra uterus. Kelompok P4 diberi vitamin ADE, infusi iodium povidon 1% intra uterus, dan GnRH. Singkonisasi estrus menggunakan Prostaglandin F2α dengan tujuan menyeragamkan waktu timbulnya estrus. Semua sapi estrus dikawinkan secara insiminasi buatan (IB). Pemeriksaan waktu ovulasi secara perrektal kurang dari 12 jam, 12 sampai 24 jam dan lebih dari 24 jam setelah estrus berakhir dan angka kebuntingan menggunakan ultrasonography (USG) pada 30-45 hari dan palpasi rektal pada 60-90 hari setelah inseminasi. Analisa hasil menggunakan deskripsi dan Kruskal-Wallis test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan waktu ovulasi kurang dari 12 jam, 12 sampai 24 jam dan lebih dari 24 jam masing -masing P1 ( 16.7%, 66,7%, dan 16,7 %), P2 ( 66,7%, 33,3%), P3 (33,3%, 66,7%), P4 (83,3%, 16,7%). Angka kebuntingan pada kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan masing-masing sebesar P1 (kontrol) 16,67%, P2 (diberi GnRH saat IB) 66,67%, P3 (diberi vitamin ADE dan Infusi iodium povidon 1%) 50% dan P4 (diberi vitamin ADE, Infusi iodium povidon 1%, dan GnRH) 100%. Ketepatan waktu ovulasi dan tingkat kebuntingan yang tertinggi dihasilkan oleh kelompok I yang berbeda secara signifikan (P<0,05) dengan kelompok kontrol. Disimpulkan pemberian GnRH, vitamin ADE dan infusi iodium povidon pada sapi perah yang mengalami kawin berulang mampu mempercepat waktu ovulasi dan meningkatkan angka kebuntingan. Mastitis is mainly caused by pathogenic bacteria both bacterial and yeast. The purpose of this review is to describe the ecology and epidemiology of mastitis prevalent in West Java and to propose control options that may be suitable for the West Java situation. The review was conducted using published papers about mastitis in West Java and government documentation. We determined that the major classification mastitis in West Java are clinical mastitis and subclinical mastitis. We also determined that the major pathogens agent of mastitis both clinical and subclinical mastitis are bacteriology and mycology agent. Education of farmers is an important part of any control program. The ecology and epidemiology of mastitis in West Java are still largely not understood. The research was conducted in September and October 2020. The purposive sampling method was used where the determination of the location was based on water conditions and anthropogenic activities near the estuary. The mangrove crabs (Scylla serrata) sampling location was implemented within three sampling sites in the Krueng Cut estuary, Gampong Alue Naga, Syiah Kuala District, Banda Aceh. Histopathological analysis was carried out in the histology laboratory, Syiah Kuala University. The results showed that there were changes in the hepatopancreas in the form of irregular lumen star shape, the formation of vacuoles and basophilic hypertrophy. These hepatopancreas changes were assumed due to water pollution generated by anthropogenic activities from local settlements and household industries. This study was conducted at PDHB drh Cucu Kartini S, dkk, Jakarta clinic. The data were taken from urinalysis test results of 23 dogs which suffered crystaluria and urolith stone examination of 11 dogs which suffered urolith stone post cystotomy. Most affected breeds were Shihtzu, Pug, Mini Pom, Corgi, Miniature Schnauzer, Golden Retriever. Crystaluria most detected in male dogs, while urolith stone most affected in female dogs. Dogs from 6 months to 12.5 years with a median of 5 years were affected. The urinalysis showed that dogs with crystaluria had alkaline urine (mean 8.3), 100% proteinuria, 86.9% hematuria, 41.4% pyuria. Diets is the most contributing factor in case of struvite urolithiasis, which is low water content; high in protein, magnesium, phosphorus, carbohydrates and calcium. Infestasi Stomoxys calcitrans pada sapi perah dapat meningkatkan kortisol, menyebabkan gangguan makan, kegelisahan, hingga berkurangnya bobot badan dan produksi susu. Perangkap Vavoua dan Nzi dapat digunakan sebagai perangkap Stomoxys spp. yang mengalami fluktuasi populasi sepanjang tahun pada musim tertentu dan dipengaruhi oleh iklim, suhu, kelembaban, intensitas cahaya serta adanya zat atraktan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membandingkan efikasi dan efektivitas perangkap Vavoua dan Nzi terhadap dinamika populasi dan keragaman spesies Stomoxys spp. yang terperangkap. Pengamatan dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan selama 12 jam (06.00-18.00) dengan menggunakan perangkap Vavoua dan Nzi yang dipasang berjarak 50 meter setiap perangkapnya, 3-5 meter dari kandang pada peternakan sapi perah di Pangalengan Kabupaten Bandung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga spesies yang dapat teridentifikasi selama Maret-November yaitu Stomoxys calcitrans (97,41%), Stomoxys sitiens (1,98%) dan Stomoxys indicus (0,60%). Puncak populasi Stomoxys spp. terjadi pada bulan September saat memasuki awal musim hujan dan puncak aktivitas harian Stomoxys spp. pada pukul 14.00-15.00 yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas di peternakan. Hasil uji normalitas data menggunakan uji Kolmogorov Smirnov dan uji homogenitas data memiliki nilai signifikansi p>0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan data berdistribusi dan bervariasi normal. Recovery organ reproduksi dapat dibuktikan dengan perkembangan folikel, ovarium dan estradiol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi kadar estradiol dalam darah berdasarkan dinamika perkembangan folikel dan ovarium pada sapi potong tropis postpartus. Riset ini menggunakan 16 ekor sapi potong jenis Peranakan Ongole (PO) (n=8) dan Crossbreed (CB) (n=8), multipara, partus normal, sehat, umur 3-10tahun dan SKT 2.5-3.5.Pengukuran folikel dan ovarium menggunakan ultrasonografi (USG) dan pengambilan darah melalui vena jugularissecara periodikdimulai pada minggu ke-1, 5, 9, 13, 17.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan diameter folikel terendah pada minggu ke-5 (PO=3.5±0.2 mm dan CB=3.2±0.2 mm) dan tertinggi di minggu ke-17 (PO=5.3±0.7 mm dan CB=5.1±0.5 mm). Hasil pengukuran rata-rata diameter ovarium sapi PO dan CB berkisar 20.0±1.0-24.2±1.6 mm. Analisis estradiol menggunakan metode Enzym-linked immunosorbent assay. Hasil analisis estradiol dari minggu ke-5 sampai 17 berkisar 30.3±2.9-49.5±8.8 pg/ml. Diameter folikel, ovarium dan kadar estradiol diklasifikasikan menjadi 3 grup. Grup satu dengan ukuran diameter folikel ≤ 2.0 mm dan ovarium ≤ 20.0 mm menghasilkan rata-rata kadar estradiol sebesar 22.8±1.7 pg/ml. Grup dua diklasifikasikan ukuran diameter folikel 3.0-5.0 mm dan ovarium 21.0-25.0 mm, menghasilkan rata-rata estradiol 38.9±2.0 pg/ml. Grup tiga diklasifikasikan ukuran diameter folikel 6.0-9.0 mm dan ovarium 26.0-30.0 mm menghasilkan rata-rata estradiol sebanyak 61.1±6.0 pg/ml. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah perkembangan folikel dan kadar estrogen merupakan faktor yang mempengaruhi kembalinya estrus postpartus. Salah satu alternatif yang memiliki peluang untuk melawan bakteri resisten adalah dengan menggunakan bakteriosin. Bakteriosin merupakan senyawa protein yang secara biologis aktif, memiliki berat molekul kecil dan memiliki sifat antibakteri yang umumnya bersifat bakterisidal. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kajian pustaka dari literatur yang sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Expensive commercial anthelmintic drug and drug resistance were the reasons why herbal anthelmintic study became strategic. The study aimed at finding out the effect of the application of turmeric (Curcuma domestica) extract in vivo on the number of eggs per gram (EPG) in feces. It used 30 free ranging chickens that were classified into 2 groups of 5 chickens with 3 repetitions. Group I served as control (Aquadestilata) and group II was treated using turmeric extract at the concentration of 2%, 3 times a week. Observation was conducted on days 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28. The results were then analyzed using Anova and advanced LSD test. The results of in vivo test showed that the application of the turmeric significantly decreased the number of the EPG as compared to negative control. Residu obat dalam unggas dan produk unggas menjadi perhatian karena membahayakan kesehatan masyarakat seperti berupa reaksi alergi dan hipersensitivitas, gangguan reproduksi, karsinogenisitas, nefropati, gangguan flora normal usus dan resistansi antibiotik. Peternak broiler yang memperhatikan waktu henti antibiotik baru sekitar separuhnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang mempengaruhi waktu henti antibiotik pada broiler. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional study. Sampel penelitian diambil sebanyak 103 Rumah Tangga Peternak (RTP) dengan kriteria sampel adalah peternak yang menggunakan antibiotik dalam proses pemeliharaan broilernya. Data diambil menggunakan kuesioner dengan cara wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi dan uji t dengan taraf signifikan (α) sebesar 5 %. Hasil penelitian menemukan faktor yang berkorelasi secara signifikan terhadap waktu henti antibiotik adalah umur peternak dengan kekuatan korelasi lemah dan cukup, Lama bekerja dengan kekuatan korelasi yang cukup, dan jumlah kepemilikan broiler dengan kekuatan korelasi yang cukup. Waktu henti antibiotik secara rerata berbeda nyata berdasarkan pada faktor pengambil keputusan dan penggunaan kombinasi antibiotik.
