The disturbed state of  spermatozoa results in a decrease quality of the spermatozoa which may effect fertility. Vitamin C is an antioxidant which is believed to affect improving the quality of spermatozoa. This study aimed to determine the effect of vitamin C on the quality of spermatoza exposed to cigarette smoke. This research was conducted by literature review using three databases, namely Google Scholar, Pubmed, and ClinicalKey. After being selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, there were 10 articles research for assessment. The results show that the decrease in spermatozoa concentration is due to the nicotine contained in cigarette smoke. By giving vitamin C, it can reduce oxidative stress which can cause lipid peroxidation, and then reduce the decrease in spermatozoa concentration. There is also an improvement in spermatozoa motility and morphology after vitamin C administration. Vitamin C as an antioxidant plays a role in fighting free radicals, so that the spermatozoa cell membrane remains protected. In conclusion, consumption of vitamin C shows an effect to improve the quality of spermatozoa exposed to cigarette smoke, including increasing/improving the concentration, morphology, and motility of spermatozoa.Keywords: vitamin C, spermatozoa, smoker  Abstrak: Rokok menyebabkan terjadinya stres oksidatif yang dapat mengakibatkan berbagai gangguan kesehatan seperti penurunan kualitas spermatozoa. Keadaan spermatozoa yang terganggu mengakibatkan penurunan kualitas spermatozoa sehingga akan memengaruhi kesuburan. Vitamin C merupakan antioksidan yang dipercaya dapat memengaruhi peningkatan kualitas spermatozoa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian vitamin C terhadap kualitas spermatoza yang terpapar asap rokok. Penelitian ini berbentuk literature review dengan pencarian data menggunakan tiga database yaitu Google Scholar, Pubmed, dan ClinicalKey. Setelah diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, didapatkan 10 artikel untuk dilakukan penilaian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penurunan konsentrasi spermatozoa disebabkan oleh kandungan nikotin dalam asap rokok. Pemberian vitamin C dapat menurunkan stres oksidatif yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya peroksidasi lipid, kemudian menekan penurunan konsentrasi spermatozoa. Terdapat juga perbaikan motilitas dan morfologi spermatozoa setelah pemberian vitamin C. Vitamin C sebagai antioksidan berfungsi untuk menanggulangi radikal bebas, sehingga membran sel spermatozoa akan tetap terlindungi. Cholesterol is an important fat, however if it is excessive in the blood it can cause various diseases, one of which is cardiovascular disease. One of the traditional medicines used to reduce blood cholesterol levels is Moringa Oleifera leaves, which contain flavonoids and play an important role in lowering blood cholesterol levels. This study aimed to determine the antioxidant content of Moringa Oleifera leaves, the benefits of lowering blood cholesterol levels, and the dosage of administration. This study was conducted by using three databases, namely PubMed, ClinicalKey and Google Scholar to find articles which met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, then the assessment was carried out. There was a significant reduction in blood cholesterol levels when given Moringa leaves, as well as the dose given. In conclusion, antioxidants in Moringa leaves can reduce cholesterol levels in the blood.Keywords: antioxidants, moringa leaves, cholesterol, cardiovascular  Abstrak: Salah satu faktor risiko terbesar penyakit kardiovaskular adalah hiperkolesterolemia. Kolesterol merupakan lemak yang penting, namun jika berlebihan dalam darah dapat menyebabkan berbagai penyakit, salah satunya kardiovaskular. Salah satu obat tradisional yang digunakan untuk menurunkan kadar kolesterol darah adalah daun kelor (Moringa Oleifera), yang mengandung flavonoid dan berperan penting dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol darah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kandungan antioksidan daun kelor, manfaat sebagai penurun kadar kolesterol darah, dan dosis pemberian. Pencarian artikel menggunakan tiga database yaitu PubMed, ClinicalKey, dan Google Scholar untuk menemukan artikel sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, kemudian dilakukan penilaian. Terdapat penurunan kadar kolesterol darah yang signifikan ketika diberikan daun kelor dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol darah, serta dosis yang diberikan. The number of elderly in Indonesia in 2020 has reached 28.7 million. This number continues to increase every year. The elderly will naturally experience changes both physically and mentally which can reduce their quality of life. The quality of sleep and cognitive function in the elderly also changes due to aging factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality and cognitive function in the elderly. This research is a literature review. This study studied topics related to the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality and cognitive function in the elderly from previous studies. The literature reviewed consists of 15 literature with 8 literature discussing the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality in the elderly and 7 other literature discussed the effect of yoga exercise on cognitive function in the elderly. The results of this study indicate that yoga exercises that are carried out regularly both in the long and short term can improve the quality of sleep in the elderly and maintain cognitive function in the elderly. It can also prevent dementia and Alzheimer's disease in the elderly.Keywords: yoga exercise, sleep quality, cognitive function, elderly  Abstrak: Lansia merupakan seseorang yang sudah mencapai usia 60 tahun atau lebih. Jumlah lansia di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 mencapai 28,7 juta jiwa. Angka ini terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Lansia secara alamiah akan mengalami perubahan baik secara fisik dan mental yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidupnya. Kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia juga mengalami perubahan akibat faktor penuaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang sifatnya literature review. Penelitian ini mempelajari topik-topik terkait pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia dari penelitian-penelitiam sebelumnya. Literatur yang diulas dan dipelajari sebanyak 15 literatur dengan 8 literatur membahas pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia dan 7 literatur lainnya mengulas pengaruh senam yoga terhadap fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa senam yoga yang dilakukan secara rutin baik dalam jangka panjang maupun pendek dapat memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas tidur lansia. Erectile Dysfunction (ED) is the inability to maintain an erection. Like DM, DE is still a problem facing the world, including Indonesia. Blood vessels can be damaged by various factors, one of which is uncontrolled blood sugar levels that can lead to Erectile Dysfunction. The International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5) or Sexual Health Inventory for Men (SHIM) is a tool for diagnosing ED. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Diabetes Mellitus on the incidence of Erectile Dysfunction. This study took the form of a literature review with data searches using three databases, namely Pubmed, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. The keywords used were Diabetes Mellitus \"AND\" Erectile Dysfunction. 10 literature was obtained after being selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.  According to the ten literature selected in this study, all found an effect of Diabetes Mellitus on the incidence of Erectile Dysfunction. In Conclusion, Diabetes Mellitus affects the occurrence of Erectile Dysfunction.Keywords: Diabetes Mellitus, Erectile Dysfunction.  Abstrak: Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang dijumpai pada segala usia terutama pada dewasa dan lansia. Disfungsi Ereksi (DE) merupakan ketidakmampuan dalam mempertahankan ereksi. Seperti halnya DM, DE juga masih menjadi masalah yang dihadapi dunia termasuk Indonesia. Pembuluh darah dapat mengalami kerusakan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah kadar gula darah yang tidak terkontrol sehingga dapat memicu terjadinya Disfungsi Ereksi. International Index of Erectile Function (IIEF-5) atau Sexual Health Inventory for Men (SHIM) merupakan alat bantu dalam penegakan diagnosis DE. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Diabetes Mellitus terhadap kejadian Disfungsi Ereksi. Penelitian ini berbentuk literature review dengan pencarian data menggunakan tiga database, yaitu Pubmed, ScienceDirect dan Google Cendekia. Kata kunci yang digunakan yaitu Diabetes Mellitus “DAN” Erectile Dysfunction. Didapatkan 10 literatur setelah diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Accumulation content of cigarette smoke in the body can actually provide many physiological changes in the human body. This situation will get worse coupled with living conditions, especially in the highlands, which can pose a risk of chronic disease even though a person has experienced acclimatization. This study aims to look at changes in the body towards chronic smoking in the highlands. This research is a literature review. This research will review all the topics that related to the physiological changes in chronic smoking at high altitudes from previous studies. Literature reviewin this study were 10 and consisting of 6 cross-sectional studies, 3 cohort studies, and 1 repeated measures design. The results of this literature review study indicate that chronic smokers who are in the highlands or climbers who have a history of active smoking can experience several physiological changes in their bodies. Smoking at high altitudes can increase heart rate (HR) and blood pressure. Oxygen saturation (SpO2) levels decreased and the levels were lower than nonsmokers at high or low altitudes. The VO2 max value decreases. The hemoglobin (Hb) concentration of smokers in the highlands increases due to decreased oxygen saturation levels. High altitude smokers have a significant association with the likelihood of developing Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS). Proteinuria is also found in 80% of climbers who have a history of smoking and have AMS.Keywords: smoking, high altitude.  Abstrak: Rokok memiliki dampak buruk bagi kesehatan manusia. Akumulasi kandungan asap rokok dalam tubuh ternyata dapat memberikan banyak perubahan fisiologi pada tubuh manusia. Keadaan tersebut akan semakin parah apabila ditambah dengan kondisi tempat tinggal khususnya di dataran tinggi yang dapat menimbulkan risiko terkena penyakit kronis meskipun seseorang telah mengalami aklimatisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan faal tubuh terhadap perokok kronis di dataran tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan yang sifatnya literature review. Penelitian ini juga mempelajari topik-topik terkait perubahan fisiologis terhadap perokok kronis di dataran tinggi dari penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya. Literatur yang diulas dan dipelajari dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 literatur yang terdiri dari 6 cross-sectional study, 3 cohort study, dan 1 repeated measures design. Hasil penelitian literature review menunjukkan bahwa perokok kronis yang berada di dataran tinggi ataupun pendaki yang memiliki riwayat merokok aktif dapat mengalami beberapa perubahaan fisiologis pada tubuhnya. Prevention of COVID-19 infection is an important thing to do in reducing the spread of this virus. Boosting the body's immune system can be done as a preventive measure, one of which is by consuming natural plants such as red guava. This study aims to determine the molecular docking of red guava (Psidium guajava L.) as a plant to prevent COVID-19. This was an in silico with computerized methods. The samples in this study were ascorbic acid and quercetin compounds in red guava plants obtained from the PubChem website. The results showed that the binding affinity of ascorbic acid is -5.4 and the binding affinity of quercetin is -7.6. Remdesivir which was used as a positive control had a binding affinity of -7.3. In conclusion, quercetin compounds have better results than ascorbic acid compounds and remdesivir.Keywords: COVID-19, red guava, molecular docking  Abstrak: Coronavirus Disease 2019 atau COVID-19 merupakan suatu penyakit menular yang pertama kali ditemukan di Wuhan, Tiongkok pada Desember 2019. Pencegahan infeksi COVID-19 merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan dalam mengurangi penyebaran dari virus ini. Meningkatkan sistem imun tubuh dapat dilakukan sebagai tindakan pencegahan salah satunya dengan mengonsumsi tumbuhan-tumbuhan alami seperti jambu biji merah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui molecular docking jambu biji merah (Psidium guajava L.) sebagai tanaman pencegah COVID-19. Jenis penelitian ialah in silico dengan metode komputerisasi. Sampel penelitian yaitu senyawa asam askorbat dan kuersetin pada tumbuhan jambu biji merah yang diperoleh dari website pubchem. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan binding affinity dari senyawa asam askorbat yaitu -5.4 dan binding affinity dari senyawa kuersetin yaitu -7.6. Remdesivir yang dijadikan sebagai kontrol positif mendapatkan hasil binding affinity yaitu -7.3. Body will accommodate this situation with the immunosuppression process. Cellular immunity is last line of defense in pregnant women that susceptible to infection, researchers interested to conducting a literature review about role of cellular immunity in pregnant women. This study aims to determine role of cellular immunity in pregnant women. Collecting data use three databases, namely: Sciencedirect, Pubmed and Google Scholar. Ten literatures met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. It consists of various types of research designs: three cross-sectional studies, three article review studies, two case control studies, one systematic review study and one longitudinal study. The results of the literature review showed: Decreased number of T cells; CD8+ and Th1 cells activity is increased in viral infections; Th1 / Th2 shifting occurs during pregnancy; Infection that occurs during pregnancy likely to have a negative impact on the mother and the fetus; and Vaccination can increase immunity of the mother and fetus against infectious diseases. Cellular immunity maintains the stability of the functions of mother and fetus during pregnancy by adjusting the quantity between Th1 and Th2 cells.Keywords: Cell-mediated Immunity, Pregnant Women, Pregnancy   Abstrak: Wanita hamil rentan terhadap berbagai macam penyakit, seperti penyakit infeksi karena janin dianggap sebagai benda asing oleh sistem imun tubuh. Tubuh akan mengakomodasi keadaan ini dengan proses imunosupresi. Imunitas seluler menjadi lini pertahanan tubuh terakhir pada ibu hamil yang rentan terhadap infeksi membuat peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan literature review terhadap peran imunitas seluler pada ibu hamil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran dari imunitas seluler pada ibu hamil. Pencarian data menggunakan tiga database yaitu Sciencedirect, Pubmed dan Google Scholar. Sepuluh literature memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Terdiri dari berbagai jenis rancangan penelitian yaitu: tiga penelitian cross – sectional, tiga penelitian article review, dua penelitian case control study, satu penelitian systematic review dan satu penelitian longitudinal study. Hasil penelitian literature review menunjukan: Penurunan jumlah sel T; Aktivitas Sel T CD8+ dan Th1 meningkat pada infeksi virus; Shifting Th1/Th2 terjadi selama kehamilan; Infeksi yang terjadi pada saat kehamilan sangat mungkin memberikan dampak yang buruk bagi ibu dan janin; dan Vaksinasi bisa meningkatkan pertahanan tubuh ibu dan janin terhadap penyakit infeksi. There are several groups that are susceptible to infection with SARS-CoV-2, one of which is pregnant women. This can be attributed to changes in the physiology and immune system that occur in pregnant women. This study aimed to determine the most risk factors that cause pregnant women in Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou was infected with SARS-CoV-2. This type of research is descriptive with a retrospective approach, using secondary data in the form of data from the patient's medical record status. From 5 patients studied, there were 4 patients with risk factors for hypertension (80%) and 1 patient with close contact risk factors (20%), but other risk factors such as diabetes mellitus, travel history in transmission areas, obesity and smoking are not found. In conclusion, from 5 patients studied, the most risk factor that causes pregnant women in the third trimester to be infected with SARS-CoV-2 is hypertension (80%).Keywords: 3rd trimester pregnant women, SARS-CoV-2, risk factor  Abstrak: Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). Terdapat beberapa kelompok yang rentan terinfeksi SARS-CoV-2, salah satunya wanita hamil. Hal ini dapat dikaitkan dengan perubahan fisiologi dan sistem imunitas tubuh yang terjadi pada wanita hamil. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor risiko terbanyak yang menyebabkan wanita hamil di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou terinfeksi SARS-CoV-2. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan bersifat deskriptif dengan pendekatan retrospektif, yaitu menggunakan data sekunder berupa data dari status rekam medik pasien. Dari 5 pasien yang diteliti, didapatkan 4 pasien dengan faktor risiko hipertensi (80%) dan 1 pasien dengan faktor risiko kontak erat (20%), namun pada faktor risiko lain seperti diabetes melitus, riwayat perjalanan di daerah transmisi, obesitas dan merokok tidak ditemukan. For that reason, some treatment actions are needed, one of which is by given hypolipidemic drugs. One of the natural remedies that act as hypolipidemic drugs is green tea. Green tea contains catechins, one of the antioxidant compounds. Catechins, especially epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG), plays an important role in lowering blood cholesterol levels. The aims of this study is to determine the effect of antioxidants in green tea on blood cholesterol levels. This is a literature review study with data retrieved using 3 databases: Pubmed, ClinicalKey and Google Scholar. Using Green Tea OR Teh Hijau, Cholesterol OR Kolesterol, and Antioxidant OR Antioksidan as keywords and limiting the article searching based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, 12 studies was found to be reviewed. From 12 literature reviewed using experimental research methods with human and animal subjects with intervention green tea (extract, EGCG and PPE), all of them showed a significant reduction in blood cholesterol levels after the intervention with green tea. In conclusion, the antioxidants in green tea can reduce cholesterol levels in the blood.Keywords: antioxidant, green tea, EGCG, cholesterol, hypercholesterolemia  Abstrak: Kadar kolesterol yang melebihi batas normal atau biasa disebut hiperkolesterolemia dapat menyebabkan pembentukan aterosklerosis bahkan penyakit jantung koroner. Untuk itu diperlukan penanganan, salah satunya dengan pemberian obat hipolipidemia. Salah satu bahan alami yang dapat berperan sebagai hipolipidemia yaitu teh hijau. Teh hijau mengandung senyawa antiosidan yaitu katekin terutama epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG) yang berperan penting dalam menurunkan kadar kolesterol dalam darah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efek antioksidan pada teh hijau terhadap kadar kolesterol dalam darah. Penelitian ini berbentuk literature review dengan pencarian data menggunakan 3 database yaitu PubMed, ClinicalKey dan Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang digunakan yaitu Green Tea OR Teh Hijau, Cholesterol OR Kolesterol, dan Antioxidant OR Antioksidan. Setelah diseleksi berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi, didapatkan 12 literature yang di review. Dari 12 literature yang di review menggunakan metode penelitian eksperimental dengan subjek penelitian manusia dan hewan yang diberi teh hijau (ekstrak, EGCG dan PPE) semuanya menunjukkan hasil adanya penurunan kadar kolesterol darah yang signifikan setelah diberikan teh hijau. In 2020 the whole world is faced with a very difficult year because the positive number of COVID-19 continues to grow. Even in Indonesia, COVID-19 is still a problem that affects various aspects of people’s lives. Without being checked, someone who looks healthy can become one of the people without symptoms and continue to cause COVID-19 to spread in the community. The aim of this study was to determine the response of immunoglobulin M & immunoglobulin G to SARS-CoV-2 in adults. The results of the literature review study on Immunoglobulin M & Immunoglobulin G increased when there was exposure to SARS-CoV-2 , although other immunoglobulins also increased, the most visible and significant results in the diagnostic screening of COVID-19 were Immunoglobulin M & Immunoglobulin G. In conclusion, Immunoglobulin M & Immunoglobulin G has an increase in SARS-CoV-2 positive adults. Immunoglobulin M will appear early in symptom onset, and then two weeks after symptom onset Immunoglobulin G increases.Keywords: Immunoglobulin M, Immunoglobulin G, SARS-CoV-2, adults.  Abstrak: Kehidupan masyarakat luas dipengaruhi sejak adanya COVID-19 yang melanda dunia pada akhir tahun 2019. Tahun 2020 seluruh dunia diperhadapkan dengan tahun yang begitu berat karena angka positif COVID-19 yang terus bertambah. Bahkan di Indonesia sendiri COVID-19 masih menjadi masalah yang mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat. Tanpa dilakukan pemeriksaan seseorang yang terlihat sehat dapat menjadi salah satu orang tanpa gejala dan terus menyebabkan COVID-19 tersebar di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui Respon Imunoglobulin M & Imunoglobulin G terhadap SARS-CoV-2 pada orang dewasa. Hasil penelitian literature review Imunoglobulin M & Imunoglobulin G meningkat saat ada paparan SARS-CoV-2, meskipun imunoglobulin lain juga ikut meningkat namun hasil pemeriksaan yang paling terlihat meningkat dan bermakna dalam screening diagnostik COVID-19 merupakan Imunoglobulin M & Imunoglobulin G. Sebagai simpulan, Imunoglobulin M & Imunoglobulin G mengalami peningkatan terhadap dewasa yang positif SARS-CoV-2.
