The research was conducted in the waters of Kuala Jambi in May 2020. Sampling of the catch of sondong fishing gear was carried out using the purposive sampling method using 4 sondong boats that made 8 trips.. The research data obtained 32 species consisting of 6 species of Main catch, 7 species of By-catch and 18 species of discard. The composition of the catch consisted of 43.4% main catch, 5.2% by-catch and 51.4% discard. From the research results, it can be concluded that the sondong fishing gear is classified as non-environmentally friendly fishing gear. Key words: Sondong, Main Catch, By-catch, Discard ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengkaji keanekaragaman dari hasil tangkapan alat tangkap sondong, yang meliputi : hasil tangkapan utama, sampingan dan buangan. Penelitian dilakukan di perairan laut Kuala Jambi pada bulan Mei 2020. Pengambilan sampel hasil tangkapan alat tangkap sondong yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menggunakan 4 buah kapal sondong yang melakukan penangkapan 8 trip. Data hasil penelitian mendapatkan 32 spesies yang terdiri dari 6 spesies merupakan Main catch, 7 spesies By-catch dan 18 spesies discard. Komposisi hasil tangkapan terdiri dari 43,4 % main catch, 5,2% By-catch dan 51,4% discard. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat tangkap sondong tergolong alat tangkap tidak ramah lingkungan. The distribution of phytoplankton is widespread throughout the body of water, both in rivers, estuaries, lakes, reservoirs, beaches and oceans. Water quality conditions will affect the presence of phytoplankton in certain waters. The purpose of this review article is to examine the types of phytoplankton that are spatially and temporally distributed and the physicochemical factors that affect the spatial and temporal distribution of phytoplankton in tropical waters. Assessing the spatial and temporal distribution of phytoplankton in tropical waters sourced from the latest national and international scientific journals and as a reference source of information for further research. The study in this paper is a literature review or literature study originating from the latest national and international scientific journals, with a focus on studying several research results that are relevant to the research topic, the study material is adjusted to the research data. The study area (tropical and subtropical) includes Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Brazil and India. The Bacillariophyceae class is found in all waters both spatially and temporally. The distribution of phytoplankton is spatially influenced by the presence of nutrients, then temporally the highest is found in the dry season. The distribution of phytoplankton is influenced by physical and chemical parameters of the waters (dissolved oxygen, temperature, salinity, pH, suspended solids/SPM, nitrate and phosphate) especially the presence of nutrients. Keywords : Phytoplankton, Distribution, Spatial and Temporal, Tropical Waters ABSTRAK Fitoplankton merupakan organisme akuatik yang bebas melayang mengikuti pergerakkan arah arus. Distribusi fitoplankton tersebar luas di seluruh badan perairan baik di sungai, muara, danau, waduk, pantai maupun samudera. Kondisi kualitas perairan akan mempengaruhi keberadaan fitoplankton di perairan tertentu. Tujuan review artikel ini mengkaji jenis fitoplankton yang terdistriusi secara spasial dan temporal serta faktor-faktor fisika kimia yang mempengaruhi distribusi spasial dan temporal fitoplankton di perairan tropis. Mengkaji distribusi spasial dan temporal fitoplankton di perairan tropis yang bersumber dari berbagai jurnal terbaru ilmiah nasional dan internasional serta sebagai sumber rujukan informasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Kajian pada tulisan ini merupakan telaah literatur atau studi pustaka yang berasal dari berbagai jurnal ilmiah terbaru nasional dan internasional, dengan fokus kajian beberapa hasil penelitian yang relevan dengan topi k penelitian, materi kajian disesuaikan dengan data penelitian. This species is fishery commodity that can be found entire coast of Indonesia. Pancur river, Jebus, West Bangka holds the potential resources of the mangrove crab. Rakkang is a the traditional type of fishing gear. This study aims to analyze effeective resr soaking duration of rakkang and to know effective time to catch the mangrove crab. This study use split plot design, then performed DUNCAN advance test using SAS V6. Data analysis by DUNCAN produce Fcount < Ftable (5%), so that the catch result of mangrove crab were not significantly different. The precise time to catch the mangrove crab is in the morning or in the night with submersion duration. Effektive soaking time, of  Rakkang is 30 minutes. Keywords : mangrove crab,effective submersion duration, effective rakkang. ABSTRAK Kepiting bakau adalah salah satu spesies khas yang hidup di kawasan bakau. Spesies ini merupakan komoditi perikanan yang dapat dijumpai di seluruh pantai Indonesia. Sungai Pancur, Kecamatan Jebus, Kabupaten Bangka Barat menyimpan potensi sumberdaya kepiting bakau yang besar. Alat tangkap rakkang ini merupakan jenis alat tangkap tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis lama perendaman yang efektif pada alat tangkap rakkang dan untuk mengetahui waktu yang efektif untuk menangkap kepiting bakau. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode  Rancangan Petak Terbagi (MRPT) lalu dilakukan uji lanjut DUNCAN menggunakan SAS v6. Data analisis dengan DUNCAN menghasilkan F hitung < F Tabel  (5%), sehingga hasil tangkapan kepiting bakau tidak berbeda nyata. Penangkapan kepiting bakau dapat dilakukan pagi hari atau malam hari dan lama perendaman. Berdasarkan lama perendaman alat tangkap rakkang yang efektif adalah 30 menit. Feather shells are a fishery resource that has been exploited for thousands of years for consumption. The objectives of this study were 1) to examine individual density, 2) relative density, 3) distribution pattern, 4) relationship of length and weight and 5) condition factors of feather shells. Sampling was carried out using the belt transect method. The sample of feather shells was then measured for the length, width and height of the body and weighed. Based on the transect, the individual density of feather clams (Anadara antiquata) was found on transect 4, which was 0.338 ind / m2, while the lowest density was found on transect 2, which was 0.05 ind / m2. The highest relative density of feather shells was on transect 4 at 19% and the lowest was on transects 1 and 2 at 1%. The distribution of feather shells was obtained that the feather shells had a clustered distribution pattern with an Id value of 1.30 (Id> 1). The correlation between length and weight of feather shells was found to have a b value of 2.60 so that the growth pattern was classified as positive allometric (b> 2.50). The condition factor obtained an average value of 1.25 indicating that the environmental conditions were good enough for the organism (Kn> 1). Keywords : feather shells, ecological aspects, growth, Letman ABSTRAK Kerang bulu merupakan salah satu komoditas penting yang sangat potensial dikembangkan. Kerang bulu menjadi salah satu sumber daya perikanan yang telah dieksploitasi sejak beribu-ribu tahun yang lalu untuk dikonsumsi . Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) mengkaji kepadatan individu, 2) kepadatan relatif, 3) pola distribusi, 4) hubungan panjang dan berat serta 5) faktor kondisi kerang bulu . Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode belt transek . Sampel kerang bulu kemudian dilakukan pengukuran panjang, lebar dan tinggi tubuh serta ditimbang beratnya . Kepadatan individu kerang bulu (Anadara antiquata) berdasarkan transek diperoleh kepadatan tertinggi terdapat pada transek 4  yaitu sebesar 0,338 ind/m 2 sedangkan kepadatan terendah terdapat pada transek 2 yaitu sebesar 0,05 ind/m 2 . Kepadatan relatif tertinggi kerang bulu terdapat pada transek 4 sebesar 19% dan terendah pada transek 1 dan 2 sebesar 1% . D istribusi kerang bulu diperoleh kerang bulu memiliki pola penyebaran mengelompok dengan nilai Id sebesar 1,30 (Id>1) . Hubungan panjang dan berat kerang bulu didapati nilai b sebesar 2.60 sehingga pola pertumbuhan tergolong allometrik positif (b>2.50). Faktor kondisi diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 1.25 menunjuk an kondisi lingkungan cukup baik bagi organisme (Kn>1). This study aims to determine species diversity and abundance of sea urchins in the intertidal zone of Manokwari Waters. The study took place in three locations in the intertidal zone of Manokwari waters. The method used was purposive sampling with a line transect sampling technique measuring 1x1 meter in size. We found 10 species namely H. mammilatus, E. mathaei, E. oblonga, E. viridis, E. lucunter, D. setosum, E. calamaris, D. savignyi, Echinotrix sp., and E. diadema. Sea urchin (H ') index value ranges from H’= 0.2173–0.448430; Index (E) ranges between 0.3108 – 0.7477 and the Index Value (C) ranges between 0.3769-0.7911 in each of the intertidal zones. L1 (Di = 0.5 ind / 6m 2 - 21.8 ind / 6m 2 ); KR = (2.0270% – 88.5135%); L2 (Di = 0.5 ind / 6m 2 –9.5 ind / 6m 2 ; KR = 0.8474% -48.3050%) and L3 (Di = 0.8 ind / 6m 2 –7.1 ind / 6m 2 ; KR = 7.6923% -66.1538%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis dan kelimpahan bulu babi di zona intertidal. Penelitian dilakukan pada tiga lokasi di Perairan Manokwari. Metode yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan teknik line transect sampling berukuran 1 × 1 meter. Kami menemukan 10 spesies yaitu H. mammilatus, E. mathaei, E. oblonga, E. viridis, E. lucunter, D. setosum, E. calamaris, D. savignyi, Echinotrix sp., dan E. diadema. The Manta Tow broadscale coral reef assessment method was applied to the north side of Bengkoang Island and the south side of Cemara Besar Island (protection zone), southern side of Bengkoang Island and northern side of Cemara Besar Island (utilization zone) and Non-MPA (Seruni Island) to observe live coral cover, dead coral, coral rubble and soft coral. Substrate cover variations from 10-12 towing (track length 200m) from each side of the island have formed a spatial pattern of coral reef conditions. Furthermore, the condition of the coral reefs was confirmed using the UPT (Underwater Photo Transect) detailed assessment method with one station on each side of the island. The results showed that there were differences in the spatial pattern of coral reef conditions as indicated by significant differences in the percentage of live coral cover, dead coral, rubble and coral lifeform among management zones of the KNP. The condition of coral reefs of the MPA is better and has a higher diversity of coral species than Non-MPA of the Karimunjawa National Park. The spatial pattern of coral reef conditions can be used as an indicator of disturbances in the coral reef ecosystem and can be used for periodic analysis of coral reef monitoring data in conservation areas.Keywords: spatial pattern, coral reef condition, manta tow, underwater photo transect, Karimunjawa National Park.ABSTRAKStudi perbandingan persentase tutupan substrat terumbu karang telah di lakukan pada 3 (tiga) zona pengelolaan (zona perlindungan, pemanfaatan dan luar kawasan) Taman Nasional Karimunjawa. Metode penilaian terumbu karang skala luas Manta Tow diaplikasikan di sisi utara P. Bengkoang dan sisi selatan P. Cemara Besar (zona perlindungan), sisi selatan P. Bengkoang dan sisi utara P. Cemara Besar (zona pemanfaatan) dan luar kawasan (P. Seruni) untuk mengamati tutupan karang hidup, karang mati, pecahan karang dan karang lunak. Variasi persentase tutupan substrat dari 10-12 tarikan Manta Tow (panjang lintasan 200m) dari masing-masing sisi pulau telah membentuk pola spasial kondisi terumbu karang. Selanjutnya penilaian kondisi terumbu karang dikonfirmasi dengan menggunakan metode penilaian rinci UPT (Underwater Photo Transect) dengan satu stasiun setiap sisi pulau. Hasil menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan pola spasial kondisi terumbu karang yang ditunjukkan oleh perbedaan yang signifikan persentase tutupan karang hidup, karang mati, pecahan karang dan lifeform karang antar zona pengelolaan.  Kondisi terumbu karang di dalam kawasan lebih baik dan memiliki keragaman jenis karang lebih tinggi daripada di luar kawasan Taman Nasional Karimunjawa. This study was held in September 2018 to April 2020 in Kelong V illage landing based . The research aims to determine the c atch p er unit e ffort ( CPUE ), m aximum s usta i nable y ield (MSY), utilization rate, and t otal a llowable c atch (TAC) of mackerel fish captured in the Mapur Waters that landing in Kelong Village . The Fishermen in Kelong Village used fishing gear to catch mackerel fish using hand lines . The research method was used a survey method , t he primary data are captured data and effort by fisherman , while secondary data were obtained from fishermen interviews and related literature. Analysis of data on this study was used the Schaefer method. The results showed that the average value of c atch per u nit e ffort (CPUE) are 9 , 40 kg/trip. Maximum sustainable y ield (MSY) mackerel fish are 8246 , 3 kg/ u nit with optimal capture effort (f opt ) 1739 trip s . The utilization rate of 3 , 715% of MSY value was low. The t otal a llowable c atch (TAC) is 6597 , 03 k g/ u nit. Overall the capture effort mackerel fish still could be increased to get more optimal results, but does not exceed the pre-defined MSY limit. Ikan kembung memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi yang dapat menambah pendapatan nelayan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September 2018 sampai April 2020 di tempat pendaratan Desa Kelong. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui c atch p er u nit e ffort (CPUE), potensi lestari maksimum (MSY), tingkat pemanfaatan, serta jumlah tangkapan yang diperbolehkan (JTB) dalam penangkapan ikan kembung di Perairan Mapur yang didaratkan di Desa Kelong. Alat tangkap yang digunakan nelayan Desa Kelong untuk menangkap ikan kembung yaitu pancing ulur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survei. Data primer yang diambil berupa hasil tangkapan dan upaya penangkapan, sedangkan data sekunder didapat dari wawancara nelayan dan literatur yang terkait. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Schaefer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata c atch p er unit e ffort sebesar 9,40 kg/trip. Potensi lestari maksimum ikan kembung sebesar 8246,3 kg/ u nit dengan upaya penangkapan optimal (f opt ) 1739 trip. Tingkat pemanfaatan sebesar sebesar 3,715 % dari nilai MSY dikategorikan rendah , s edangkan nilai jumlah tangkapan yang diperbolehkan sebesar 6597,03 k g/ u nit. Secara keseluruhan penangkapan ikan kembung masih bisa ditingkatkan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang lebih optimal, tetapi tidak melebihi batas MSY yang sudah ditentukan . The issue of sedimentation is the main problem. This study aims to determine the morphology of the seabed as the basis for monitoring sedimentation at the Ulee Lheu Fishing Port Jetty. Bathymetric surveys were carried out in the dock pool using a single beam echotrack odometer. Tides were obtained using the IOC Sea Level Monitoring for 29 days and analyzed using the admiralty method. The results of the processing showed that there was sedimentation in the area of the Ulee Lheu Fishing Port Jetty. The depth of the wharf pool ranges from 0-7,7 meters with a sediment volume of 250.117,15 m3. Meanwhile, the tidal water type is included in the double daily tidal type with a value of F = 0,15 and the tidal distance is 2,38 meters and is included in the micro tidal range category and there is sedimentation in the Ulee Lheu Fishing Port Jetty.Keywords: Bathymetry, sedimentation, morphology, Ulee Lheu Port, tidal rangeABSTRAKDermaga Perikanan Ulee Lheu merupakan pelabuhan penting di Kota Banda Aceh yang difungsikan sebagai pelabuhan penyeberangan maupun sebagai pelabuhan bongkar muat. Isu sedimentasi menjadi masalah utama di dermaga ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui morfologi dasar laut sebagai dasar pemantauan sedimentasi di Dermaga Perikanan Ulee Lheu. Survei batimetri dilakukan di kolam dermaga menggunakan echotrack odometer single beam. Pasang surut diperoleh menggunakan dari IOC Sea Level Monitoring selama 29 hari serta dianalisa menggunakan metode admiralty. Hasil pengolahan menunjukan terjadi sedimentasi di areal Dermaga Perikanan. Kedalaman kolam dermaga berkisar antara 0-7,7 meter dengan volume sedimen berkisar 250.117,15 m3. Harpeni","doi":"10.21107/JK.V14I2.9191","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.21107/JK.V14I2.9191","url":null,"abstract":"ABSTRACT The intensive cultivation of Litopenaeus vannamei with biofloc systems is one of the most efficient way to reduce shrimp cost production, because the biofloc can be used as feed subtitution for L. vannamei cultured. The application of the biofloc system in commercial ponds is still experiencing many obstacles so that it is not optimal in supporting the success of cultivation. One of the factors that determine the success of shrimp farming with a biofloc system is the determination of the right organic carbon source. The objective of this research was to know the effect of addition of C-carbohydrate (wheat, tapioca, and mollases) on shrimp growth, survival rate, biomass, efficency of feed and feed conversion ratio of white shrimp L. vannamei. The design of the research was using a completely randomized design, consisted of three experimental treatments with four replications. The result of this research showed that the biofloc systems with addition of C-carbohydrate on growth performance of the shrimps were not significantly different (P>0.05) among those treatments. The biofloc technology with addition of C-carbohydrate using treatment B (wheat) showed higher survival rate (SR), biomass, feed conversion ratio (FCR), and feed efficiency were significantly different (P 0.05).  Penggunaan sumber karbon organik yang berbeda berpengaruh nyata terhadap tingkat kelangsungan hidup, biomasa, konversi pakan, maupun efisiensi pakan udang vaname.  Sumber karbon gandum menghasilkan tingkat kelangsungan hidup, biomassa, konversi pakan, dan efesiensi pemanfaatan pakan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan sumber karbon tapioka dan molase.  Penggunaan sumber karbon gandum dalam sistem biofloc menghasilkan nilai tingkat kelangsungan hidup 75,4±7,2%, biomassa 256,8±23,6g , FCR 1,3±0,1 dan efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan sebesar 74,9±7,3%. This progress is marked by the availability of images of various resolutions with complete channels, open-source, and their development in various image classification techniques such as edge detection techniques. This study aims to examine changes in the coastline in Banmaleng Village, Gili Raja Island, Sumenep Regency using the Canny edge detection algorithm on multitemporal Landsat 7 and 8 imagery in 2005 - 2020. The edging process includes (a) minimize noise by applying a Gaussian filter, (b) determine the image intensity gradient, (c) apply non-maximum emphasis to eliminate spurious responses to objects, (d) define multiple thresholds for determining potential image edges, (e) Track edge hysteresis by pressing all other weak edges that are not connected to firm edges. Canny edge detection produces sharp edges to analyze coast line changes quite well. Every five years, the coastline of Banmaleng Village experienced shifting from 0 , 4 to 2 , 3 meters in several areas.
