SU-8 photoresist powder with solvent content of 7% is prepared by spin coating of standard SU-8 on a polymide sheet laminated aluminum plate. followed by baking and grinding. In reflow casting, a specific amount of SU-8 powder is loaded into a container formed by a square PDMS frame attached on a glass substrate. After heating, SU-8 powder melts and reflow resulting in a SU-8 thick film of a specific thickness. With sequential reflow casting and X-ray lithography, multilayer 3D microstructures of SU-8 can be obtained. A mathematical model is developed to find a suitable amount of SU-8 powder needed for powder casting of each consecutive layer based on SU-8 density, size of the casting frame and areas occupied by microstructures form previous layer. Fabrication of complicated three-layer 3D microstructures is demonstrated. The method can be used to fabricate all polymer MEMS devices as well as sacrificial micromold of microparts.","PeriodicalId":176588,"journal":{"name":"2008 5th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124219254","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As we know, the indoor communication channel is limited by geometry of room and some obstruction in that room such as furniture, human operator, etc. These obstructions directly affect to quality of received signal, especially human who usually obstruct receiving signal. To efficient the network designing, the influence of human body shadowing on radio propagation in building UWB communication is investigated by involving propagation prediction model. This model will predict characteristics of the received signal affected from body shadowing by considering many wave propagation phenomenons such as reflection, refraction, absorption, etc. based on ray-tracing technique. The predicted results are shown in various forms such as power loss of received signal, mean excess delay and power delay profile. To verify the validation of the model, these results will be compared with the measured results. It is found that the measurement and prediction results are closely related.","PeriodicalId":176588,"journal":{"name":"2008 5th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114210103","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This type of uncertainty is used to avoid on-line computational burdens. The robust stability comes with a guarantee described by parameter-dependent Lyapunov function (PDLF). The control law based on PDLF is potentially less conservative than that based on single Lyapunov function (SLF), due to additional degree of freedom. We give numerical examples based on a single non-isothermal CSTR system to illustrate the effectiveness of this algorithm.","PeriodicalId":176588,"journal":{"name":"2008 5th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124486903","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is one of the most concerned issues in developed countries. Animal backgrounds including feeding, decease, medicine, vaccine, health check, movement, and so on, are essential information for customers to ensure the safety of the meat they purchased. Thailand exports economic animals, e.g., swine and poultry, to other countries. Therefore, it is needed to prepare the animal traceability system to support such requirements. This paper presents the conceptual framework for the development of Thailand economic animal traceability system to serve as a guideline to the implementation of food safety in meat supply chain.","PeriodicalId":176588,"journal":{"name":"2008 5th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"54 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124087283","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The discrete time Markov chain model is used to build analytical model of multi-channel random access slotted Aloha. The number of WDM wavelength is corresponded to multi-channel slotted Aloha. We measure several performance characteristics, namely, steady-state throughput and average packet delay time. Additionally, the efficiencies of the system, which are based on both the processing gain and the number of WDM wavelengths, are considered. Additionally, exponential retransmission is used for solving packet collision problems. In our numerical results, system performance is given in terms of both average throughput and delay time.","PeriodicalId":176588,"journal":{"name":"2008 5th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"40 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131370056","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This curve has been claimed for its normalized totally positive (NTP) property and requires only the linear time computation. These properties indicate the shape preservation and the efficiency of evaluating the points on DP curves. Among several important properties of a non-rational curve, the degree reduction of a curve from n into n-1 degrees is very useful for many applications to decrease the complexity of the polynomials. The shape of the curve remains the same although the numbers of control points has been reduced. In this work, the degree reduction and the multiple degree reduction for DP curves has been proposed and well proven by the benefits of the Bezier degree reduction, multiple degree reduction and the relationships between Bezier and DP curves.","PeriodicalId":176588,"journal":{"name":"2008 5th International Conference on Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2008-05-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131982450","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
