The designed antenna consists of three dipole radiators arranged in a hexagonal loop on a low-cost FR4 substrate. It achieves radiation pattern reconfigurability by switching the three PIN diodes. The selective surface current distribution leads to six different radiation modes of the antenna. The fabricated antenna proves beam rotation in entire azimuth plane in six different states at 600 steps. It offers a 100MHz common impedance bandwidth from 2.35GHz to 2.45GHz common between the two resonant modes of the antenna. In this common band maximum measured gain is 2.66dB with over 75% efficiency. The antenna has a compact size of 0.47λ0 × 0.47λ0 and a low profile of 0.012λ0. For the same it is important to assess the human behaviour in diverse conditions to as to eventually make robots socialistic in nature. Object & people tracking is an excellent field of computer vision in which we have tried to detect and track multiple vehicles and people at outdoor traffic environment and indoor office environment respectively. A background subtraction algorithm is applied for vehicle detection. Kalman filter is used to predict the estimated position of every vehicle in the next frame and updating of new track. Some vehicles are also detected in cluttered scenes. Every moving vehicle is counted in video frames. Multiple face detection and tracking is an also attractive field of computer vision. The faces are behaviourally very different to vehicles and indoor scenarios are also very different to outdoor scenarios. Hence a different methodology to track people is used. In this paper, we have tried to detect and track face of multiple people on two different datasets with different height of camera. Point feature is extracted and compared it in the successive frames to track face of multiple persons. Every face is bounded by rectangular shape with unique identity. We have also counted total number of faces in the frame sequences. Results on both vehicle and face datasets show promising results and the proposed methodology can accurately track the trajectories. Retrieval of biochemical parameters using satellite data can prove to be a boon in terms of agricultural monitoring. Sentinel-2 data provide highly accurate spatial and temporal data, thus holds great potential for many agricultural related applications such as vegetation classification, identification of vegetation state, analysis of vegetation health, etc. But it is still a very challenging task for the researchers to identify different biochemical parameters of crop plants with the help of Sentinel-2 data. In this study, an attempt has been made to derive the relation between Sentinel-2 data and biochemical parameters of Sugarcane crop plants. For analyzing the relation between satellite data and biochemical parameters of crop plants, first we have calculated the reflectance values for band 2, band 3, band 4, and band 8 of Sentinel-2 images and then we have analyzed the biochemical parameters of sugarcane crop plants such as chlorophyll, carbohydrate, protein, hydrogen peroxide, phenol and proline using leaf samples. Finally, statistical analysis is done to find out the sensitivity of reflectance values for plant parameters. Out of these, the measures which are related to a corpus, or which are knowledge related are more significant in the sentence similarity domains. The applications which use knowledge based measures tend to give more accurate results and are very much in coincidence with human similarity. These measures use path length between the concepts or information content between the words to derive the similarity between the words. Some of the semantic similarity measures generate synonym sets of the words to evaluate similarity, but these measures focus mainly on generating noun or verb synonym sets which can be enhanced by generating all the synonym sets. In this paper, a metric PathM is proposed to calculate word-pair similarity by generating all the synonym sets of the words and it is enhanced to calculate the sentence similarity. This paper presented a high-gain, single band compact monopole antenna is printed on FR-4 substrate and has dimensions of 30*25*1.5 mm3 with a partial ground plane. The proposed compact monopole antenna design covers 2.4 GHz frequency range with the return loss of -20 dB. The gain of the designed antenna is 7.13 dB. The simulation has been done through CST Microwave studio. Underlay mode increases the spectral efficiency of the system, however, interference mitigation in this mode is still an open challenge. Our analysis proves that device spatial distribution is the main factor which is responsible for the reduction in interference and increase in spectral efficiency of the system. We take base station (BS) as a decision maker who selects the number of D2D pairs which reuse the resources of a particular mobile station (MS), i.e., the cellular user. The decision of BS depends upon the distance between the devices involved. Numerical results are shown for the system throughput for different scenarios. For the two system models, we analytically characterize outage probability when the node transmissions undergo small scale fading as well as path loss. In the analysis, we develop simple yet insightful closed-form expressions for outage probability. We validate our analytical results with Monte-Carlo simulations. The proposed geometry offers a dual frequency band of 2.9-4.6 GHz and 7.1-20 GHz for reflection coefficient i.e. S11<-10 dB, while the simulated result offers 7.1 dB gain and 90 % efficiency in overall frequency band. This antenna is a composition of microstrip coupled feed, monopole loading for broadband and edge metallization. The dielectric material FR-4 (εr = 4.3) and Rogers TMM (εr = 9.2) is used for substrate and Tetrahedral DRA respectively. To improve PCA algorithm in this paper we propose to deploy a multilayer neural network with linear artificial neurons to calculate eigenvalues and corresponding eigenvectors using back-propagation learning algorithm. This approach enables us to find all the eigenvalues and its corresponding eigenvectors simultaneously by training the network. Conventional approach to calculate eigen pairs using singular value decomposition (SVD) is time consuming for large datasets because it is suitable to find one particular eigen pair during one run. The second approach that we propose for improving PCA is to decide the best eigenvectors or the principal components that best represent our original input data.
