This new cavity allowed reliable passive mode locking as a classical all- fiber ring cavity but with an added benefit of continuous wide-range wavelength tuning. The tuning from 1527 nm to 1597 nm was demonstrated in the mode-locking regime. The new laser cavity has such advantages over tunable ring-linear fiber cavities as simplified design, reduced loss, and potentially shorter optical length.","PeriodicalId":175509,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference Laser Optics (ICLO)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128842405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The limits of detection are on the level of time-consuming laboratory methods. However, the developed systems are much faster, simpler and can be used on-site. These features are due to advanced assay formats with magnetic nanolabels, optimal antibodies and conjugation procedures obtained through realtime characterization of binding kinetics of reagents by original label-free interferometric biosensors. The developed test systems are promising for medical diagnostics, criminalistics, toxicology, food quality control and environmental monitoring.","PeriodicalId":175509,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference Laser Optics (ICLO)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126710662","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
