The limits of detection are on the level of time-consuming laboratory methods. However, the developed systems are much faster, simpler and can be used on-site. These features are due to advanced assay formats with magnetic nanolabels, optimal antibodies and conjugation procedures obtained through realtime characterization of binding kinetics of reagents by original label-free interferometric biosensors.
