The performance of this antenna is compared with that of a simple rectangular patch antenna. The simulated results for this antenna are optimized by varying position, length and width of T shaped slot and also by introducing two shorting wall. The results indicate that the designed structure resonate at various closely spaced frequencies (as shown in figure-4) which are use full for Ultra wide band (UWB) communication systems, which has been allocated IEEE 802.15.3a standard for specifies the frequency range 3.1GHz to 10.6GHz. The Modified antenna offers much improved bandwidth 76.71% at central resonance frequency 7.62GHz in comparison to a rectangular patch antenna (having band width 3.27%). The directivity of antenna also improves significantly at some of the resonance frequencies.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114545901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

There are transmission impediments like fading, path loss, blockage and interference that add to the inclined behavior of wireless channels. In such an environment, the network must accommodate the changes, providing end-end packet delivery while at the same time incurring low control overhead. This paper proposes an improvement over the existing routing algorithm for MANETs with the primary goal of maximize connectivity while limiting operating cost by finding those routes which can stay intact for a period of time.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114075441","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the fuzzy set theory, application of fuzzy clustering analysis in microbial enhanced oil recovery (MEOR) was studied. At first, strains which had ability to produce biosurfactant were selected as part of the statistical indicators. Then data were corrected and standardized by empirical formula. Similarity matrix was established with angle cosine. After that, clustering analysis was made and evaluated by Transitive Closure. Finally, the strain which had the best adaptability to the oilfield conditions was chosen by fuzzy cluster analysis. And so the optimal choice mechanism was established.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127898639","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is more important to test and verify by implementing on any hardware for getting better efficient result. As FPGAs is used to implement any logical function for faster prototype development, it is necessary to implement the existing design of LFSR on FPGA to test and verify the simulated & synthesis result between different lengths. The total number of random state generated on LFSR depends on the feedback polynomial. As it is simple counter so it can count maximum of 2n-1 by using maximum feedback polynomial. Here in this paper we implemented 8, 16 and 32-bit LFSR on FPGA by using VHDL to study the performance and analysis the behavior of randomness. The analysis is conceded out to find number of gates, memory and speed requirement in FPGA as the number of bits is increased. The comparative study of 8, 16 and 32 bit LFSR on FPGA is shown here to understand the on chip verification. Also the simulation problem for long bit LFSR on FPGA is presented.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"10 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129238604","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Joga","doi":"10.1109/CSNT.2012.169","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1109/CSNT.2012.169","url":null,"abstract":"As the CMOS devices are scaled down to nano domain and below, semiconductor fabrication technology leads to design of nano electronic devices that make use of different types of nano particles, materials and the corresponding properties. Several emerging devices such as Single Electron transistors, Quantum dot transistors, carbon nano tube Field effect transistors are shown to have potential of taking place in post Silicon era. As the device size is coming down, gate lengths are reduced, and the corresponding reduction of oxide thickness results in unwanted effects such as reduced threshold voltages, higher offset currents, reduced control of the gate over transistor characteristics has been observed. This leads to the inability of the non-volatile memory device to hold the threshold level it is expected to sustain over long periods of time without electrical power being applied. In this paper the author proposed a design of Quantum dot floating gate transistor with Carbon nano tube channel for non-volatile memory devices. Carbon nano tube field effect transistors are promising nano-scaled devices for implementing high performance, very dense and low power circuits. Because the carbon nano tube is very small and therefore only needs small amounts of charge held by its capacitance to appreciably change the device's threshold voltage, the dielectric can be made thick, so as to avoid present day scaling issues.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"219 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116172922","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Structural analysis and significant advantages of top contact over bottom contact devices are demonstrated by 2-D numerical device simulation. Top contact devices observe relatively small contact resistance as compared to bottom contact one due to larger injection area. It results in higher mobility which enables these devices suitable for fast operation. The extracted mobility value for top contact is higher than bottom contact devices. Further this paper presents an analytical model for both structures on the basis of contact resistance. A current voltage model is derived for linear and saturation regions. The current voltage (I-V) characteristics of analytical model are compared with simulation results. Both results are comparable to each other that validates proposed analytical model.","PeriodicalId":174433,"journal":{"name":"2012 International Conference on Communication Systems and Network Technologies","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2012-05-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127542143","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
