We studied a nitrocellulose based propellant composition that replaced sensitive NG with RDX and DEGDN which high energy and low sensitivity. The important factors in the design of the gun propellant were impetus and flame temperature. NC-based propellant containing RDX showed similar impetus but low flame temperature compared to KM30A1, a triple-based propellant. The study defined configuration of an entire fleet of aircraft being subject to a performance improvement program. And selected the most complicated aircraft configuration among them as a Standard Aircraft for modification by according to the proposed Aircraft Selection Process for developing an optimal Aircraft Performance Improvement Process. Based on the selected the Standard Aircraft, drew a system integration design result and carried out Evaluation Test and obtained Airworthiness Certification. Created the database with the design data of the Standard Aircraft, Evaluation Test, and Airworthiness Certification results, and applied it to variants of aircraft to complete the performance improvement program with optimized schedules and costs. However, there are some disadvantages that are charging lots of explosives due to lack of uniformity and having difficulties of the design of liner and explosives because of manufacturing process. In order to solve these problems, Precision Linear Shaped Charge(PLSC) that can design a liner independently and charge explosives uniformly has been developed. In this study, PLSC was designed to have a proper liner shape and amount of explosives, and the penetration test of PLSC with different stand-off distance from liner to target was conducted. On the basis of the penetration test results of PLSC, the numerical analysis method using AUTODYN was established and verified. However, there is one part of the aircraft where the use of this technology is limited, and that is the radome. Especially, radome should have transmittance for the specific radio frequency, therefore, common stealth technology such as emissivity control surfaces cannot be applied to radome surface. In this study, we developed metal nano-coating for infrared stealth which is applicable to radome surface. We designed slot-type pattern for frequency selective transmission in X-band, and also controlled thickness of metal nano-coating for long wavelength infrared emissivity control. As a result, our infrared stealth surface for radome has 93.2 % transmittance in X-band and various infrared emissivities from 0.17 to 0.57 according to nano-coatings thickness. We usually make the interferometer baseline long enough to achieve good angular accuracy. However, an interferometer with baseline longer than a half-wavelength has the ambiguity problem. In this paper, we present a novel method for solving the ambiguity problem in interferometry systems. This technique is based on the amplitude comparison method and the space division table, and it can place a target within the angular region in which the ambiguity problem does not occur by roughly estimating direction-of-arrival. A IFF retrofit program for replacing the Mark XII Mode-4 with Mark XIIA Mode-5 is in progress in order to overcome the security limitations of the former in R.O.K. IFF certification test for the new mode, Mode-5, has been performed on medium range surface to air missile platform of the Korean armed forces for the first time in R.O.K and this is regarded as a monumental event in Korean defense industry. The present paper is a discussion on the procedures applied to the IFF system retrofit and integration, lessons learned from AIMS test with the US AIMS PO as observer. The minimum modification from the existing Mark XII Mode-4 to Mark XIIA Mode-5 and evolutional adaption from previous design including interoperability are required for the system retrofit. Letter of Certification was received from the US AIMS PO after the tests. The authors propose that the lessons learned and know-how acquired during the tests are managed by the R.O.K Government as the standard structure of a database. It can be used to deorbit the space debris(SD), as its long-range property and versatility on any material. In this paper, we find out several requirements of the LAP system(LAPS) to deorbit the SD by simple numerical calculations of the SD orbit and laser beam flux. As a result, minimum operable altitude angle turned out to be a crucial variable to the LAPS. Moreover, if minimum operable altitude angle is 10°, and if the minimum distance between the LAPS and the SD is below 450 km, 1 m/s2 is sufficient to deorbit the SD by once. With 18 kJ/3 ns pulsed laser and cube shaped 100 kg SD, 1 m/s2 acceleration can be achieved by increasing the pulse repetition rate over 34~53 Hz, depending on the size of the SD. Detailed QoS requirements process of the joint integrated C4I systems are needs in the Multi-Domain Operation Environment(MDOE). A process is proposed for identifying QoS requirements and establishing in the MDOE using JMT(Joint Mission Thread) reference architecture and solution architecture. Mission analysis identify JCOAs(Joint Critical Operational Activities) and related activities based on JMT & System architecture's OVs, and Information analysis identify QoS attributes using System architecture's SVs. Identifying QoS attributes will be registered at PPS Registry by pre-regulated process, and will be set-up by NetOps.
