Due to the mobility of the user, the channel will change continuously; therefore, the acquisition of CSI will become challenging. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is well known multicarrier scheme to enhance data rates and improve spectrum efficiency of the MIMO system. Although with OFDM based system, because of mobility, a strong interference can distort the received signal and produce a leakage effect. However, OFDM systems suffer strong interference due to mobility resulting in distortion of the received signal and leakage effect. In order to mitigate interference and leakage problems, this research work employs a distributed compressive sensing-based framework. Besides that, by exploiting the distributed joint sparsity, pilot overhead and system complexity are also reduced.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123703163","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Through the simulations, current distribution losses and voltage regulation have been computed. Then an efficient model has been developed through ETAP in which current overhead 11.5kV distribution feeders are replaced by 11.5kV underground distribution feeders. In underground power distribution network, aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) overhead lines are replaced by cross linked polyethylene (non mag) cables keeping other all parameters same. Then effects of underground cables on 132/11.5 kV at Qasimabd grid station is determined. Results shows that if current power distribution network of the grid is converted into underground power network active distribution power losses can be reduced about 71.53% and reactive distribution power losses can be reduced about 74.91 %. Likewise, voltage drop in the lines can also be reduced at greater extent.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129483173","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Within the sensor network, fragments are stored at various storage nodes. As a result, the data is more secure. The IoT network shows failures and unauthorized admittance to the users. The role played, herein, by the storage nodes make them prone to various security attacks. In this research work, the preliminary investigation and the methods to employ to provide the solution for security and privacy problems in distributed sensor network storage. Deep learning technologies that are already in use in ioT contexts cannot assign compute tasks reasonably which leads to resources wasting. Artificial intelligence is made up of capabilities that assist gadgets in learning and processing information in the same way that people do. A quantifiable blend of artificial intelligence with the internet of things, popularly known as AAIoT, is something that is holding a promise of a more connected future. This article proposes an AAIoT based method for allocating each network layer's inference computation in a multi-layer internet of things system to each device This is, to the best of my knowledge, the first attempt to track down this criminal. When considering the cost of computing and communication, the design of this study effort is a programming algorithm to lower the response time. The simulation findings demonstrate that a method could improve the system's response time significantly.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124310094","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Additional data sources that might be exploited include timing data, power consumption, electromagnetic leakage, and even sound. Since the 1990's, when side channel attacks were first introduced, a lot of effort is done in improving their effectiveness and efficiency. Many machine learning methods were designed for side-channel attacks. The researchers have recently noticed a growing trend in the SCA community to use deep learning techniques, which has resulted in more precise side-channel studies, even when countermeasures are in effect. Machine learning algorithms, on the other hand, have the drawback of requiring human engineering to function and some performance fluctuations in some cases. Recent research has focused on using deep learning techniques to extract characteristics from data automatically. Concepts of side channel attacks, machine learning, deep learning, and current breakthroughs in deep learning-based side-channel attacks are described in this paper. This discussion provides an overview of contemporary machine and deep learning research in the context of SCA. Machine Learning is not completely negated, or Deep Learning is not completely supported but their competitiveness and trend is discussed as a baseline to new challenges in context of side channel attack. Thus, a paradigm shift of ML to DL in SCAs is the focus of this paper.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"78 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129515258","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Constraint Clustering is based on semi-supervised approach towards document clustering, where some prior knowledge about the collection is readily available for clustering. The paper proposes algorithms based on sampling to find three different kind of constraints from the document collection (i) instance level (ii) cluster level and (iii) corpus level. The constraints integrated into constraint K-Mean produced multiple clusters satisfying the constraints. A boosting method is suggested to adaptively learn the constraint's priorities, constraint satisfaction criteria and optimal clustering solution from multiple possible solutions. The proposed algorithms are implemented and tested over standard text mining dataset. The evaluation measures for testing the algorithm involves purity, entropy, and F-measure. This experimental studies achieved encouraging results for constraint learning and on average, 6% improvements are achieved on clustering results.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134167645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The micro grid comprises of renewable generation, energy storage units and demand management via the low-voltage distribution network, which are part of the intelligent grid implementation. Renewable energy resources, including solar and wind energy, are now used worldwide because of the quick technological progress and environmental benefits. However, it is important to integrate renewable production in the micro grid in advance, for this reason, future power generation from renewable sources must now be predicted. Predicting future energy generation will be helpful in finding requirement for grid integration. Forecasting is the ability to determine periods of stable generation from renewable sources. In this paper a renewable energy generation is predicted which is comprised of solar and wind energy to know the requirements for energy in future. With the help of these results Grid will be configured well in advance to fulfill electricity generation requirements from renewable energy resources. ANN (Artificial Neural Network) and ARMA (Auto-Regressive Moving Average) models are used for prediction of different energy resources. Raw data is first processed using feature extraction technique and then it is used in ANN and ARMA modelling.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129232991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Almost 95% of the patient die due to this disease. The main two classes of brain tumors are benign and malignant tumors. The first failure towards their cure is the late detection and diagnosis. Researchers are on their way to find and discover an accessible and easy method for its earlier detection so that its uncontrollable spread can be controlled before a life-threatening situation. MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is the best technique for image processing and makes it easier to detect a tumor area in the brain. In this paper, we used preprocessing, segmentation, thresholding, feature extraction, and classification to detect brain tumors in MRI images. A GUI (Graphical User Interface) is also designed to load the images, plot the results, and tell the user/doctor whether the MRI is of a healthy subject or a Tumor patient. The total algorithm takes less than 5 seconds to give complete classification results and accurately classifies 98.99% times.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129652690","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, IoT applications have become widespread across many industries. However, due to the resource-constrained nature of IoT devices, they cannot be secured using conventional security protocols that are already developed. Hence, lightweight implementations of IoT security are the need of the hour. This paper proposes a secure and tamper-resistant system for monitoring the status of items in a container during transportation and storage using IoT devices. As smart logistics often transport items that are sensitive to environmental changes such as temperature and humidity, the security of data obtained from these sensors is the main focus of this research. To evaluate the performance of the system, a pilot-scale silo has been fabricated. Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) is used as the communication protocol and a lightweight implementation of Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS) protocol has been adapted for the smart container architecture to incorporate cryptographic security. The low power consumption of the lightweight DTLS-secured CoAP implementation will drastically increase the efficiency of the smart logistics architecture without compromising its security.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128824022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The early head-up-displays were primarily developed for military aviation to project flight information in front of the pilot. However, with the recent development in optics, electronics and multimedia applications, the HUD have found its way into variety of applications including automotive interactive information systems. In this paper, we present a high luminant and transparent interactive HUD display enabled by the micro-structured retroreflective surface. The high brightness is supported by exploiting the narrow angle scattering property of the retroreflective surfaces while the transparency is achieved by using a transparent glass screen at 45 degrees. The real-time interaction with the displayed content is provided by using leap motion sensor. The interactive user interface is developed in Unity3D. The experimental setup is demonstrated using the commercial retroreflective fabric and DLP multimedia projector. The developed system is tested in a regular car in outdoor settings. Our results show high perceived brightness of the display within the viewing angle of ±10 degrees. It helps owners to analyze the fields considering multiple factors such as weather, light, and temperature. A dashboard keeps track of time for irrigation, fertilization and monitors the continuous growth of crops. The importance of machine learning in predicting agricultural KPIs in smart agriculture can hardly be underestimated. The pace of research in this domain, particularly fueled by advances in deep leaning, requires an intermittent review to present to the community. This work presents the first systematic literature review to gauge the applications of semi-supervised learning to smart agriculture. We focus on semi-supervised techniques due to their important role in labeling unlabeled data for learning tasks based on agricultural image data.
