Almost 65% [12] of the world's population is using the internet. User experience on the internet becomes a factor of high importance. Bad users experience because of connectivity issues, speed issues and delays in query results retrieval can result in business loss to individuals, IT companies and ISP providers. In the current Covid-19 scenario, the traffic over the network increased. In Lockdown days, People limited to their home are doing each task e.g. official work, education, shopping, etc. over the internet. The high number of users and their high internet usages habits put extra load on the network. This results in bad user experience and delays in content fetching especially in developing counties like Pakistan because of the unavailability of both State-of-the-Art internet delivery infrastructure and CDN / Datacenter [13] [14]. About 32% of Pakistan's population is using the internet which is 2.47 times greater than the total number of internet users in Oceania / Australia [15]. Pakistan has a big freelancing market and these issues affected the freelancers resulting negative impact on the economy. We conducted a survey and ask people about the change in their internet habits and user experience in lockdown days.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125201955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Taking care of health must be the priority of humans but due to the lack of medical facilities in the rural areas people are suffering from several diseases. To make these facilities readily available, we propose in this paper the use of mobile phones and android app development to monitor health remotely. As telemedicine is the source to provide health care services to patients at a remote distance i.e., far away from the hospitals, it uses ICT for the exchange of information to diagnose patients” health and provide them treatment. Telemedicine is mainly used to improve health care delivery in those areas where doctors and medical staffs are not readily available. The main purpose of this paper is to treat patients at a remote location in a low cost and with the best doctors and to provide an automatic measurement of vitals and reduce chances of error, because manual measurement and manual entry of vitals may cause errors. SEHAT (Smart E-Health App for Telediagnosis and first opinion) is another enhancement in the field of telemedicine that provides secure and effective healthcare for remote areas, and this can be also useful at home, offices, and hospitals. SEHAT observes and measures human body vitals noninvasively, collects the vitals data, asks important queries like; Patient's age, gender, symptoms, and provides with the best suitable doctor accordingly from the doctors' pool, where a doctor could provide the first opinion in the form of prescription, suggestion, and appointment.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133672821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is very important to filter the media and the choices that are overwhelming for internet users while making buying decisions using online stores. To solve this problem, recommendation systems are used widely. A recommender system helps users find a product of their own choice by filtering and prioritizing and effectively generating the relevant information to its users. The purpose of a recommender system is to save time and hassle of searching through the World Wide Web, instead it generates specific and relevant content that promotes online transaction and bring satisfaction to the users of e-commerce platforms. The proposed system is an e-commerce platform based on an apparel recommendation system that recommends products on the foundation of the user's preferences.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134559681","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The misadventure of a transformer can make undisputable a paramount upshot on the safeguard, consistency, and cost of electrical yield. In this study, a differential protection scheme established to Supervisory Control and Data-Acquisition (SCADA) system is recommended for various lack-of-correspondence protections of three-phase power transformers for the reason of varied actions of the currents' differences in accountability states. The innovative adaptive methodology grants development in the enactment and stability of the three-phase transformers. The distinction representative offers the well-timed acknowledgment of burdens that are unobserved due to deficient thoughtfulness. The recommended protection scheme, on time, turns out to be responsive to all internal faults, while it is constant for the period of transformer stimulus and CT surplus due to peripheral faults. To assess the portrayal of the mentioned system, programming is done. Through this system, we look up the fault on the board while the whole system is associated with the SCADA system. From where we can see the category of the fault and safeguard the transformer from harm by deletion of the fault within almost no time. Results show that the suggested system is a proficient and expedient guard method.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"58 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124658143","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of the increased gas leaks, residential safety has been a serious concern in recent years. Hazardous gases such as propane and methane are flammable, and if contained in close proximity might trigger explosions Installing gas monitoring systems in sensitive areas is one of the preventative techniques for eliminating fatalities caused by gas leakage. The technique presented in this paper includes the identification and reporting of dangerous gases in a region by designing a Gas control and monitoring system (GCMS) that can automatically detect, alert and control hazardous gas leakage. It is quite easy to handle as users will only have to press buttons at the designed HMI (Human machine interface).","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"76 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127698248","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They boost-up the input side voltage while the current steps down from input to output. This simple circuit is the need of almost every electronic circuit, new generation Electric vehicles, medical equipment, textile industry, space systems, etc. But despite of all the merits and uses, it offers a destabilized output response with overshoot and steady-state error. To overcome this issue and to improve the transient and steady-state response of DC-DC Boost Converter, a PID controller has been designed which is not only improves the dynamic response of the converter but also increases the stability and efficiency of the system. To further implement the system according to the needs of new technology, PID controller has been designed digitally/discretely. A low-cost micro-controller board, Arduino NANO is used for controlling while MATLAB-Simulink is used to tune the parameters of PID controller.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"413 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128943732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Accurate knowledge about the transmission line parameters is required to implement the important actions related to operation, control and the design of protection schemes for the power transmission lines. In this research work a technique for the estimation of transmission line parameters of a short line model is presented using the input and output measurements of the line e.g., voltages, currents and power factor measured at both sides of transmission line. By formulating an error minimizing obj ective function using a metaphor-less optimization algorithm, the Rao-I is used to identify the parameters of short transmission line. The estimated parameters showed substantial accuracy depicted by the paraenetic traj ectories and have greater closeness with the actual line parameters.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"436 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116329291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The conventional crowdsourcing model follows a highly centralized architecture, as human involvement is the core of any crowdsourcing activity; it suffers from a severe lack of quality control along with far-reaching security implications. Hence, we work to identify the security challenges that accurately express the essence of a spatial crowdsourcing network. Furthermore, we set forth a general architecture to better understand the problems that stem from centralization in this crowdsourcing paradigm. Lastly, we draw some possible future research problems, as we expect our work to raise awareness, allowing other researchers to probe further regarding security in spatial crowdsourcing.","PeriodicalId":172583,"journal":{"name":"2021 6th International Multi-Topic ICT Conference (IMTIC)","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-11-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123833974","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
