Computed tomographic imaging revealed pansinusitis without intraorbital complications. Proposed mechanisms included inflammation exacerbated by means of bacterial spread after the dental procedure and the use of nitrous oxide as well as possible compression of the superior division of the oculomotor nerve. Treatment with intravenous antibiotics led to near-complete resolution of ptosis within 5 days.</div></div><div><h3>Practical Implications</h3><div>Outcomes of this case highlight the importance of recognizing isolated ptosis as a rare complication of rhinosinusitis, particularly in pediatric patients. AI offers the potential to transform dental diagnostics, treatment planning, and care delivery; however, its clinical application in dentistry remains limited. AI applications exhibited high specificity in detecting pathologies, improved early intervention capabilities, and optimized treatment planning. Key findings emphasized the value of responsible AI adoption within institutional settings, such as the US Department of Veterans Affairs, supported by means of clinician engagement, regulatory guidance, and ethical oversight.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusions and Practical Implications</h3><div>Integrating AI into dental practice can improve diagnostic accuracy, streamline administrative processes, and enhance access to care.
