The main aim of this paper is to make services more resilient so that in case of unavailability of any specific critical service other dependent services should not break the user experience. In this paper, an effort has been made to find out SOA-specific scheduled outages. Also, downtime of a particular service is predicted using Service Dependency Tree (SDT). Using this availability of the system can be improved by minimizing the service downtime.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132455360","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mockup Development in software engineering leads to the creation of a prototype that is close to being the real implementation and is used for getting feedback on the final implementation. In spite of neuromarketing giving effective marketing results, enterprises restrict the usage of such research in their marketing activities, thus resulting in the under usage of this technique. Mockup creation is a time-consuming process, being complicated for consumers to understand design concepts within a few seconds, thus becoming difficult to design a perfect consumer-preferred website. This paper proposes an idea that helps in designing mockups with the help of neuroscience and leads to a reduction in time consumed by giving the accurate design to build a website. This novel idea focuses upon using neuroscience which gives the exact consumer reaction for mockups that are used as design tools virtually everywhere a new product is designed. The usage of Neuroscience in mockup development leads to the creation of exact and accurate mockups at a much faster rate leading to heavy cost savings for any software development organization.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"124 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122483284","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore, the study of vaccine-related conversations on social media could help governments or vaccine providers around the world perceive the current public’s outlook and emotion, which heavily contributes to their confidence in the vaccination process. In this paper, we collected the vaccine-related tweets from New York City using the longitude and latitude configuration. The pre-processing technique was applied in order to categorise them into three sentiment types: positive, negative, and neutral. After that, the training and testing dataset were proportionally generated. Different machine learning techniques, which included Logistic Regression (LR), Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), Decision Trees, Random Forest and Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP), were then utilised on our dataset to obtained the results. The comparison showed that the highest accuracy of 93.63 percent was achieved using MLP, while Naive Bayes produced the lowest accuracy of 82.13 percent. In conclusion, the promising finding of this study suggests that the application of Sentiment Analysis on social media platform can be used to determine the public’s general opinion regarding the COVID-19 vaccines.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"12 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126809127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The fundamental procedure of enhancing the performances of microarray cancer data classification is feature selection or dimensionality reduction. It also diminishes the complexity of classifiers like misclassification, overfitting, etc. Feature selection is usually more essential when the size of features is comparatively high in the dataset. Constructing and choosing the best feature selection and classification algorithm is usually significant for optimizing ovarian cancer classification problems. In this research, we introduce a structure called the Integrated Feature Selection (IFS) technique. Two integrated feature selection techniques were proposed to solve classification issues these are Evolutionary Non-dominated Radial Slots Based Algorithm (ENORA) combined with Evolutionary Algorithm (EA) and Non-dominated Sorted Genetic Algorithm (NSGA2) combined with Harmony Search Algorithm (HSA). Three different classifiers are utilized as machine learning algorithm which evaluated ENORA-EA and NSGA2-HSA. ENORA-EA and NSGA2-HSA selected 55 and 37 most optimal features. 99.60% higher classification accuracy attained with artificial neural network (ANN) and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA) classifiers. For the proposed IFS algorithm’s efficiency justification, experimental outcomes were contrasted with miscellaneous algorithms. Particularly, the experimental results show that the proposed two IFS techniques clearly outperformed the other approaches.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128455226","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is presumed that young children and senior citizens are less capable of self-defense and are unaware of possible recourse for them to keep themselves safe from such danger, the same is true in case of women who may not possess the physical strength to defend themselves in such situations. The implementation proposed is a simple setup that can ensure safety for the user through the push of a button. In the form of a wearable belt, this device is concealable, inexpensive, water-resistant, resistant to physical impact and also comes with self-charging arrangements that can help sustain device operation. The device may also be extended to help locate lost pets in certain circumstances. Through a physically robust arrangement, this proposal helps improve and more efficiently crackdown on such attempts of abduction.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"148 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132477946","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Noisy conditions in the vehicular environment pose a pressing challenge to speaker identification tasks. Thus, a robust speaker recognition system is proposed that is not susceptible to a drop in performance when subjected to various SNR levels. This paper analyzes the performance of speaker identification using GMM and BiLSTM in noisy environments. The model is trained to identify speakers from the TIMIT speech corpus. The paper also explores data augmentation techniques, namely, time stretching and time rolling. On training and testing the proposed speaker identification system with TIMIT and custom dataset, results show that more data for both training and testing purposes can eventually improve the performance of the system.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124846456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The denoising autoencoder model is used for noise removal, but it lacks temporal dependency while the LSTM model shows good temporal connectivity, hence in this work, a hybrid model is proposed which helps to improve the sequential dependence as well as denoising the noisy speech signal. The performance of the proposed Hybrid model is evaluated with unknown noises, and the results of the proposed model are compared with the existing basic Denoising autoencoder and LSTM based speech enhancement algorithms. The proposed model shows improved intelligibility in both low and high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) environments; higher intelligibility is observed in the negative SNR conditions, whereas the quality results show a slight improvement at all SNR values.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121470038","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Perhaps, two of the most important breakthroughs in this century have been in the field of Automation and Internet of Things. In today’s world we are surrounded by devices that have the ability to access the internet and communicate with other such devices. In this paper the authors propose a method to couple the power of Automation and the functionality of Internet of Things, to control hardware systems and peripherals through a custom-built web server. The embedded controller used in the proposed system is a Raspberry Pi 3b+. This project aims at making home automation and other related automated tasks simple to build, execute, automate and monitor the usage through the World Wide Web. By using the proposed system, it will help the end user to curb electricity costs, by monitoring and saving the units consumed by the different peripherals in the system, and also have a positive impact on the environment. The framework used for implementing the back-end is a micro framework called Flask. Flask enables the user to build and deploy seamless Python based web applications. To demonstrate the real-time working of the proposed system, the Authors have built a small-scale electrical system which is controlled by the Raspberry Pi through a web-server running in the Local Area Network. The software is also programmed to generate a detailed data sheet containing various data such as running time, the consumption rates of these devices, and finally the units consumed by these devices.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"92 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128588621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
