The topographical regulations regarding the availability of inexhaustible solar energy drive field development and highlight the need for increasingly more complex solar power systems. Solar energy is an endless source of CO2 emission-free energy at a global level. Solar thermal technologies may produce electric power when associated with thermal energy storage, which may be used as a disposable source of limitless energy. Furthermore, it can also be used in industrial processes. Using these high-tech systems in a large area of practice emboldens progress at the performance level. This work compiles the latest literature to provide a timely review of the evolution and worldwide implementation of Concentrated Solar Power—CSP—mechanization. This analysis aims to provide thematic documentation as a basis for approaching the concept of a polygeneration solar system and the implementation possibilities. It also seeks to highlight the role of the CSP in the current and future world energy system.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117066330","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the presence of abundance of multimedia data on internet, it is imperative to develop appropriate tools to classify ragas. In this work, an attempt has been made to use Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC) for classification. MFCC pattern present in the signal along with its statistical distribution can be characterized using MFCC based co-occurrence matrix. This matrix captures both tonal and temporal aspects of melody. Ragas differ in terms of distribution of spectral power which was the motivation to use MFCC. Support Vector Machine (SVM) has been utilized as the classifier. Database consists of 30 ragas from Hindustani music dataset (HMD) part of Indian art Music Raga recognition dataset which is the largest publicly available database. Experimental result indicates the effectiveness of the proposed scheme which is giving accuracy of 86.6%","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117304082","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper presents a regression analysis of investment by banks in fossil fuel sectors. Using data from the top 60 banks worldwide, we use multivariate regression to show that the consequences of climate change are related to the investment by banks in fossil fuels, and predict seven different consequences for the next five years. The validation of the model shows that this model is appropriate to predict the consequences from the investment in fossil fuel sectors with Mean Squared Error near to 0 and R-squared score approximately 1 for all consequences.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129094314","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Extending them using new technologies like blockchain can expand the offline payment landscape and create new directions for payment systems. This paper proposes XipCOIN as a construction of such a system, based on the Ethereum blockchain. It exploits the recently defined Layer 2 Rollups model of significantly increasing performance and creating desirable transaction characteristics by moving the transactions off the primary Layer 1 blockchain. XipCOIN builds on the approach, established in previous studies by Dmitrienko et al. and Takahashi et al., of using a Trusted Execution Environment to validate the transaction offline by the payee with the payer trusting the payee signature on the confirmation.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"161 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124504194","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Irrespective of the business’s paradigm, each one has a reviewing system that envisages the working throughput of the system. The impact justifies the company’s current commercial state and also helps to bring in new customers. The proposed exploratory data analysis shows the relationship between the reviews on textual and non-textual parameters aimed to work on a user-based analysis. In this paper two different datasets are analyzed where the reviews are predicted based on extensive exploratory data analysis and feature engineering. This paper focused on examining how reviews are influenced based on the independent parameters from Zomato and Yelp datasets. These datasets have huge geographical differences that allowed us to obtain various diverse users-review coming from different backgrounds, cultures, and heritage. After feature construction, the predictive model is analyzed by applying supervised and ensemble machine learning algorithms such as Linear regression, Logistic regression, Decision trees, RandomForest, XGBoost, and GradientBoosting. The inferences obtained from both datasets gave us coherent results that validate the experimental procedures, extend the same analogy in different business paradigms, and offer a comprehensive prediction.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"43 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124190207","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Binary Classification models with varying Neural layers of distinct Deep Learning architectures along with diverse rule-based probabilistic and deterministic classifiers have been constructed to give a wide comprehension regarding the impact of each classifier on the efficacy of the other. Data samples have been extracted from each of the NSL-KDD, UNSW-NB15, and CICIDS-2017 datasets to simulate real-life data conducive to an extensive and non-biased packet stratification. Logical conjunction and Matthews Correlation Coefficient (MCC) have been availed as the combination and evaluation techniques respectively. The obtained results indicate that the Support Vector Machine and Gated Recurrent Unit ensemble shows the highest accuracy. Furthermore, Logistic Regression model coupled with Naïve Bayes is the most optimal combination with regards to the MCC score and detection time taken.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124586257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Generally, the smart inverters play a considerable role as a main contributor on the smart grid in several ways. Improvements can be added to the current smart inverters in order to face the modern difficulties which the existing one cannot handle. The main objective of this research is to optimize the distributed energy generation either by limiting or stopping the unnecessary power injections to the utility grid. Therefore this novel energy management system is enriched with abilities such as changing its power output according to the condition of the utility grid under predefined grid codes and the dynamic battery charging and discharging ability. The controlling of this system is done as a separate function to the controlling mechanism of the inverter. The background of the energy management system is discussed, along with existing systems and their issues. A novel energy management system is presented in this paper with a simulation model, modeled on MATLAB Simulink software. The results of the proposed system show the benefits and the flexibility that can add to the existing power system.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"42 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121343557","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Autonomous vehicles are becoming more popular as it was observed that vehicular autonomy could be the possible solution towards increasing road and fuel efficiency. However, due high-cost nature of the solution there is an increasing need for low cost, easy to adapt, and ready to deploy solutions. Vehicular Platooning can be one such possible solution, where a group of vehicles travel in a pattern to avoid air resistance and thus increase fuel efficiency. In this paper, a distance agnostic computationally inexpensive computer vision-based vehicle following technique is proposed and evaluated. A cloud-computing architecture-inspired business model supporting the underlying methodology is also proposed in the form of add-on service. Finally, a mobile application is built to interact with the proposed system and monitor the service usage. The performance of the proposed system is evaluated based on Rider’s Comfort level.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"164 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116740753","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Device management systems are used to administer, manage and monitor devices and their policies (e.g., mobile devices – such as cell phones, laptop computers, tablets, etc., desktop computers, printers, and other devices). With proliferation of usage of mobile apps for various business functions and advancements in technologies around mobile security, there are various other adjacent systems that have evolved like Mobile Threat Defence systems and Application policy managements. In many instances, these systems manage similar settings on the device independently thus leading to conflicting policies being applied on the device. The conflicting policies can make these devices insecure and increase risk of non-compliance with respect to industry standards and government regulations. This paper proposes a methodology to seamlessly manage settings coming from multiple sources and resolve these conflicts using modelling of device management policies and text analytics algorithms. The paper also details the experimentation and results based on the tests executed for conflicts arising between Android device management policies and manufacturer specific policies on the Android operating system.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128522590","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Especially within the context of the recent advancements of big data, artificial intelligence, and influencer phenomena that facilitate the demand and supply of products and services online, no updated comprehensive review exists on the role of social media marketing in shaping customer engagement and social impact. To identify the size, scope, exemplar work, and emerging topics of related work by conducting a bibliometric review, the study collected 740 articles in August 2021 from the Web of Science database. The detailed bibliometric findings reveal several gaps across disciplines. They also highlight the gaps in knowledge production in terms of journals, organizations, and themes. The study has identified several research gaps and opportunities to advance the understanding, design, and interventions of the critical decision points in the circular economy for positive environmental, social and governance impact.","PeriodicalId":170546,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE 2nd International Conference on Technology, Engineering, Management for Societal impact using Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Talent (TEMSMET)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122444726","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
