Abstract

This paper focuses on managing the loss of service availability due to scheduled maintenance activities in SOA-based systems. The main aim of this paper is to make services more resilient so that in case of unavailability of any specific critical service other dependent services should not break the user experience. In this paper, an effort has been made to find out SOA-specific scheduled outages. Also, downtime of a particular service is predicted using Service Dependency Tree (SDT). Using this availability of the system can be improved by minimizing the service downtime.
