Although most existing heart sound segmentation methods perform well in normal signal, they usually have no effect on abnormal signal. In this paper, a method based on double-threshold is proposed for robust segmentation of heart sound. Firstly, the signal is preprocessed by filter based on Hamming windows to eliminate background noises and high-frequency murmurs. Then, the Improved Hilbert-Huang transfom is used to extract the envelope of heart sound. Finally, the envelope is segmented by Double-threshold method and the false segmentation is eliminated according to physiology knowledge. Experimental results show that the proposed method is validated to perform well for both normal and typical abnormal heart sounds.","PeriodicalId":169447,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation","volume":"98 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126883022","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Meanwhile, the daily precipitation and evaporation data of Honghu meteorological station and the fishery production value of Jingzhou since 1970s were also collected to analyze the influence of climate change and human activities factors on the change of Honghu Lake's water surface area. The multiple regression analysis shows the influence coefficients of precipitation, precipitation days, evaporation and fishery production value for the water surface area of Honghu Lake are 0.7575\", \"-0.0035\", \"-0.0952 and -0.4761 respectively, which means climate factor is still the major factor on the change of Honghu Lake, while human activity should not be ignored.","PeriodicalId":169447,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121452821","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A conceptual coastal life and plants inhabitation model across a sandy beach, as well as the impact-response relations between coastal life and plants and typical maritime structures are constituted on the basis of field surveying data at more than 11 coasts in Japan. Considerations and procedures on selecting representative species and dominant impact factors for environment evaluation are then discussed. Finally, an integrated coastal environment impact evaluation model is constructed by combing coastal hydrodynamic models and HEP (Habitat Evaluation Procedure) technique. The developed model is applied to simulating the habitat suitability of clams around breakwaters at Toban coast of Japan. Comparisons between the simulated results and measured data indicate that the model can give reasonable habitat impact evaluation.","PeriodicalId":169447,"journal":{"name":"2013 Fifth International Conference on Measuring Technology and Mechatronics Automation","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2013-01-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122873063","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
