That is why we have tried to work in this field. The project that we are going to describe here is a robotic rescue team that uses its designed systems and utilized detection methods to help people and help rescuers to accurately detect victims when natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes occur. However, in addition to the functions listed, this robotic team can help in the identification of historic centers, help to protect the environment, be useful in mapping, and help the traffic police. The technologies used in this project can be implemented in various industrial fields, specially the virtual reality technology for communicating with the environment and better control that greatly expand the functionality of such robots. In this rescue team, a ground rescue robot functions as the main commander, an aerial rescue robot is used for more accurate identification and air support, and an automatic control ground robot is used for speeding up the operations. The three robots each have their own unique function and are linked together through a ground control center.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132712241","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Although this language is capable of describing and modeling different aspects of a problem, it cannot be used for verification of the obtained model. Formal languages can be utilized for this purpose to verify the model. In a previous study by the authors of this paper, Statecharts diagram has been mapped to the LOTOS formal language. However, not all possible structures and necessary relations like the condition and loop structures were mapped. In this paper, an improvement of the previous method is presented. Moreover, for verification of the presented mapping, the CADP toolbox has been used. To apply the proposed method in practice, a case study is presented, where the properties deadlock, live lock, unreachable states, and non-deterministic states are formally verified. The results of the model verification show that the evaluated statecharts diagram has had deadlocks, but there have not been live locks, unreachable states, or non-deterministic states in it.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"71 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116821636","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Optimal control can be an effectual method for solving muscle redundancy due to its accuracy; however, this technique suffers from high computational cost. Torque driven methods in which moments-instead of muscles-are considered as actuators of the musculoskeletal systems can reduce the redundancy of the system and the number of unknowns; consequently, it enhances the computational speed. Should we want to define the force of individual muscle(s), this approach is not sufficient. In this study, we provide a hybrid model including muscle-based and moment-based methods in order to compensate this limitation. To reach this goal, a 2-degree-of-freedom skeletal model was considered. Two different sets of actuators were assumed for this model. In the first one six musculotendon units were considered as the actuators of this model. A Hill-based muscle model in accompanied with a stiff tendon was employed to represent the musculotendon units. In the second problem, except for the 5th muscle, we summarized the effects of the musculotendon units into rotational actuators, i.e. torques. The results obtained from the hybrid model and the outcomes of the muscle-driven one, in terms of the joint trajectories, first derivative of joint trajectories and the magnitude of muscle force were compared to each other. While these results were equivalent to each other up to six significant figures, the results of the hybrid method were obtained more than five times faster than the outcomes of the muscle-driven method.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132209536","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Usually the influence of the impulse corona is ignored in numerical analysis of electromagnetic transients in power systems. This paper presents a corona model on an HV transmission line under the influence of lightning strike and impulse voltage. This model shows two main developments in the modeling of power transmission line for the simulation of electric network. The first one is a wide bandwidth circuit corona model and the second a phase-domain multiphase full frequency-dependent line model. Both models have been developed in the Electromagnetic Transients Program (EMTP-RV). At the end of this paper, effects of skin effect and radius conductor on lightning overvoltage are considered.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128523871","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Some images have default noises. Other types of images in processing can be noisy due to high level process in weak systems. Creating a system for image retrieval is an important part of image processing. This article focused on noisy image restoration based on cellular neural network. Noises inside the pixel with different sizes are restored with different levels of surrounding information. Images with 50% of noise cannot be recovered correctly, but optimized cellular neural network can recover whole part of images with less noises. The main purposes of using cellular neural network are less time with more noise removal. Two evaluation methods like MSE and PSNR are used to compare with recent methods.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133757127","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since offering a precise suggestion to users in search engines and e-commerce is desirable for users, precision is the most important factor in such systems. The main challenge in recent researches is to improve precision and recall factors in recommender systems. In addition, classification based on frequent patterns mining is received a lot of research in data mining field. In this study a hybrid method is proposed to generate a list of interesting suggestions based on users view. To verify the precision of the proposed method, we used different classifiers. The results show that, J48 classification has the highest precision and recall for the proposed method.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133897420","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

DG units are allocated in order to achieve the highest loss reduction in distribution networks. In most DG planning studies a constant or voltage-dependent load model is considered. Therefore, this study considers several different types of time-varying voltage-dependent load models to identify the penetration level of wind-based DG (wind DG) units in a radial distribution system. This presented analytical expression first size wind DG unit, which can inject both active and reactive powers. This is based on derivation of a multi-objective index (IMO) including two indexes of active power loss (ILP) and reactive power loss (ILQ). Then, while considering time-varying load models and probabilistic wind DG generation this expression allocate wind DG. To reveal the validity of the presented analytical method, a 69-bus IEEE radial distribution test system has been examined. The results demonstrate that load models can significantly affect the optimal size and location of DG resources, and allocation of wind DG with each load model has its own penetration level.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134068411","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From a practical point of view, the case when unmanned vehicles are subject to limited sensing and communication is of particular interest. In this work based on the state-space representation of the leader-follower relative kinematics, the formation is realized by employing a state feedback. Then, by considering the limited field of view in the measurement sensor, a soft-switching supervisory control strategy is proposed. This paper is distinct with respect to the existing studies in the sensor measurements specifications, the leader-follower system formulation and proposed control strategy for visibility maintenance problem. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed control structure.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134080838","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Internet of Things allows all devices to be IP enabled and be accessible through the Internet in buildings. Specific protocol stack has been standardized suitable for resource constrained devices. Now these kinds of devices are capable to connect to the Internet directly and can serve light weight web services. Routing Protocol for Low Power and Lossy Networks (RPL) is an IPv6 routing protocol designed to be used in the network of constrained devices attending in the Internet of Things. RPL route construction process is configurable through Objective Function (OF). OF formulates Nodes and link metrics to calculate nodes' Rank which numerates the quality of a route that a node provides. In this paper a Compound Metric Objective Function (CMOF) is proposed and evaluated with Minimum Rank with Hysteresis Objective Function (MRHOF). CMOF is designed to satisfy building automation application requirements and provide a reliable and low latency communication. The proposed objective function operates based on hop count and link latency metrics. Simulation results approve the superiority of CMOF in terms of packet delivery ratio and average end-to-end delay.","PeriodicalId":168295,"journal":{"name":"2015 2nd International Conference on Knowledge-Based Engineering and Innovation (KBEI)","volume":"59 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-11-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116120777","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
