Due to the covid-19 restrictions, in order not to lose customers and be able to continue earning money, they had to create or use various types of online platforms and organize e-shops where customers can make purchases without any restrictions. With properly designed and organized platforms, customers can check other customers’ opinions about a given enterprise and its offer, choose what they need, how they want to pay, what type of delivery of the ordered goods they prefer, and they can do it at any time of the day or night and from anywhere with access to the Internet. However, it can be noticed that not all platforms operating on the market meet the expectations of customers, they do not have many functions, and there is even lack of the basic information about the enterprise or contact details. In such a situation, customers are uncertain about the safety of using such a platform, often prefer to use a competitive e-shop. That is why, when assessing the operation of e-shops and the quality of its services, it is necessary to take into account the assessment of the operation of the online platform itself. The aim of the paper is to assess the functioning of the selected internet platform and its operation by customers. The Sitequal method, a variation of the Servqual method, was used during the research. The results of the research helped to show whether the customers were satisfied with the functioning of the platform, what they liked and what they would like to improve. This allowed to indicate the strengths and weaknesses of this platform and possible direction of improvements. The results obtained can form the basis for various types of enterprises to improve their online platforms.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"21 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123974660","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The effects of this support is still limited. By 2030 it is expected to improve the competitive position of intermodal transport in mature markets with innovation and technological progress and organizational. Intermodal transport market in Poland is a young market, which is characterized by a small, but steady growth. An increase in this type of transport in the overall transport of goods, but the share of intermodal transport performance in freight transport performance in Poland amounts to less than 5 % (the highest percentage of intermodal freight services characterized by foreign shipowners FTP sea - about 14 %). In this article, the author analyzes the current conditions shaping the intermodal transport market, and defines the areas in which it is necessary to implement changes and innovations that enable the sustainable development of the intermodal market in Poland. The strategic objective of the development of intermodal transport in Poland is to create favorable conditions for the technical, legal, organizational, economic and financial implications for the dynamic development of the intermodal transport system, so that their share of rail transport in 2020 reached the average level of the European Union in 2000, such as 10-15 % in terms of tonnage. (Tomasz Szmid 2012) The condition of the available infrastructure and various instruments, including financial ones, ensuring increased availability of intermodal services are also of decisive importance.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125751791","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research was carried out in a glass factory located in the Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. The qualitative analysis included the risk assessment related to the printing process with UV inks, print quality, and the type of nonconformities occurring during printing. Based on the conducted analyses, proposals for improving the printing process with UV inks were determined. As part of the analyses, such methods and quality tools as fault tree, FMEA analysis, Pareto-Lorenz diagram, and tree diagram were used. It was found that the most common nonconformity of printing with UV inks on glass packaging is smearing of the emulsion covering the glass vessel and that most of the nonconformities resulted from errors made by employees, which were caused by non-compliance with the instructions for individual activities by people employed in production positions and quality inspection employees. It was proposed to implement employee training at individual workplaces, in particular the implementation of instructions for performing specific activities, as well as the introduction of additional employee supervision and implementation of changes in the management of the printing process and quality inspection of the decorated products.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125822999","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One possibility for producing such materials is the use of fillers with magnetic properties. The final properties of such composites depend mainly on characteristic polymer matrix. However, the addition of magnetic materials arose use of new technologies. Such builders include the magnetic ferrites. Metal hexaferrites represent well researched group of magnetic materials (Mallick, 1993). Their high values of magnetocrystalline anisotropy and saturation magnetization enable widespread application of these materials as permanent magnets. Low price and excellent chemical stability with suitable magnetic characteristics classified ferrites to one of the most important magnetic materials (Rigbi, 1988). The experimental material used was a composite formed by combining a polymer matrix (linear polyethylene HDPE), and the hard-magnetic strontium ferrite labeled FD 160S as a filler. Composites with different filler contents were prepared from the starting materials. The dependence of viscosity on the content of ferrite filler was determined by rheological measurements.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"34 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128121317","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study focuses on the statistical control of flange shaft process capability by serial production in company focused on products for automotive. The flange shaft process is evaluated by control charts, specifically by control chart for average and range (x̄, R). As the results showed, based on diagram for average and range we are able to say that the turning process is under the statistical control. Also, we had finished the reguest for capability of process, where the indexes of capability process Cpk1 and Cpk2 are higher than the determined value on 1.33 point. The normality of the measured values was verified by histogram. Obtained values are: Cpk1 = 1.645 a Cpk = 1.52. Therefore, we can consider the process as capable.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"116 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127242051","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Numerous enterprises were forced to limit their activities. However, the employees of certain industries, performing work necessary for the normal functioning of the society, have been constantly exposed to epidemiological threats. The construction industry is an example of this. The ongoing threat of the pandemic could have had a significant impact on the workers’ behaviour and perceptions of safety. The work safety culture could have undergone such a change. The main purpose of the article was to determine whether the pandemic influenced the work safety culture in the construction industry. The methodological tool applied was a questionnaire addressed to people who directly supervised work on construction sites. The survey was conducted among 49 Polish enterprises operating in the Silesian Province. The results of the research indicate that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused changes in the work safety culture, most of which were positive. An analysis of the litera-ture on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the safety of workers indicates that publications in this area are primarily aimed at representatives of healthcare, while there are few publications on changes in the area of health and safety in the construction industry. This paper is an attempt to fill this research gap.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133348540","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This new dynamic imposes on the retailer a series of changes in its internal management processes. The consumer shopping journey can start in the cell phone, go through a physical store for experimentation or withdrawal of the product or service and end up in a social network from an opinion, good or bad, about the service or product. And this view can spread quickly by influencing other consumers. The technology alone is not enough to ensure that during that journey the consumer has satisfactory experience that can boost new sales. It is up to the retailer to prepare its numerous business processes and also its organization, composed of people with their due roles and responsibilities, for this new dynamic. For its part, this consumer when perceiving this value offer is willing to reward the retailer through engagement with his brand and new purchases. In this context, among the most important processes to be adapted to the omni-channel are those involved with the supply chain. A perfect synchrony of this chain is what guarantees products, services or both at a fair price, in the right place and at the right time. This study seeks to investigate, through a single case study, how the introduction of the omni-channel is being managed by a brasilian retailer that markets durable goods of several segments. It is demonstrated that there is an alignment between the theory and the practice about supply chain impacts from the implementation of the omni-channel in retail companies and that this strategy can collaborate to meet the demands of new consumers and at the same time provide financial and operational results satisfactory for the retailer.","PeriodicalId":166707,"journal":{"name":"Conference Quality Production Improvement – CQPI","volume":"28 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-12-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124086686","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
