These include social goals, general and theoretical goals of professional education; goals of studying certain professional or special disciplines; goals of studying additional courses; goals of particular sections and topics; goals of particular training sessions. Considering the social context of the organization professional training of future bachelors of physical therapy in higher education institutions are identified and characterized by five leading conceptual provisions on the formation of health-saving competence to the future bachelors of physical therapy as a pedagogical system. The article highlights and characterizes the requirements for the readiness of the teachers of higher education institutions for the implementation of quality professional training of future bachelors of physical therapy directed at the formation of their health-saving competence: formed professional, general cultural, and humanitarian, civil and social, information and communication competence, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy. In the article is established that the function of the health-saving environment in higher education institutions is the formation of the health-saving competence in future bachelors of physical therapy in combination with didactic, educational, stimulating, and psychological functions. It requires effective assistance to children in combating the negative consequences of the distant way of family existence. The long absence of parents in a child' daily life affects his or her psychical and emotional state. It can lead to deprivation (inability to meet basic life needs for a long time), in particular, sensory deprivation (reduction in the number of sensitive stimulus or their restriction); cognitive deprivation (the structure of the surrounding world is perceived without a clear order and meaning); emotional deprivation (restrictions in establishing emotional contact or interruption of emotional connection); social deprivation (limited ability to understand an independent social role through identification with an adult). It has been established that the basis of social and pedagogical work with children of labour migrants is made up of social work technologies, which include social adaptation; rehabilitation; compensation; prevention; correction; social support; social protection; social security, social control; social propaganda, etc. It has been studied that internally displaced persons (IDPs) need to solve basic household issues and a range of problems faced by distant families (if one of the parents remained in the occupied territory or abroad, and the children in Ukraine), but in an advanced post-traumatic state. It is emphasized that the educational space includes not only educational programs, methods, tools, but everything that surrounds students and ensures the creation of effective conditions for the development of their key competencies. It is accented that at the state level the creation of a modern effective new educational space is regulated by the legal framework, in particular, the Laws of Ukraine, Orders of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, State standards, norms and rules.There were pointed out such components of the new educational space as: creative external and internal design; comfort and energy efficiency; modern conditions for learning, development and communication; barrier-free space and conditions for inclusive education; multifunctional environment. It is emphasized that the organization of the educational space of the classroom requires the use of new IT technologies, multimedia tools, the creation of cells, which makes it possible to create various opportunities for various types of activities, cause joy, stimulate imagination, and motivate learning. Great attention is paid to external (3D and thematic design with maximum use of the facade, modern murals) and internal (learning rooms and common areas) design. The focus is on equipping with modern furniture that ensures a healthy body position due to constant change of working posture (the so-called «active seat principle»).It is noted that the creation of a new effective educational space requires changes in the planning of buildings of educational institutions and school grounds. It is emphasized that most of modern school buildings are not suitable for the implementation of the latest pedagogical approaches and don’t make it possible to diversify the organization of the educational process. In order to achieve an effective result of professional activity, a modern specialist in social work must possess professional competences and be knowledgeable about modern work methods, including with vulnerable categories of the population, which will contribute to improving the quality of social services in the community. Professional development of social work specialists should be aimed at their effective response to the social challenges of today. Sothe goal of the study is: 1) to find out the key advantages of the competence approach to the implementation of the modern educational process of improving the qualifications of social work specialists: 2) to analyze the results of the training programs for improving the qualifications of specialists implemented at the Dnipro National University named after Oles Honchar in the aspect of further their deployment of social work in the community. Achieving the specified goal will contribute to the search for effective methods and technologies of modern social work with individuals/families in difficult life circumstances; foster families and family-type children's homes. A comparative analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the traditional and competency-based approaches to learning revealed the advantages of the latter: flexibility, creativity, focus on achieving learning outcomes that will be further implemented in social work in the community, independence, and testing the acquired knowledge in practice. Currently, it should be noted that there is a need to improve the qualifications of social work specialists by obtaining a certificate, which confirms the frequent appeals-requests of potential listeners who need to receive such an educational service. Due to a lack of finances, they are unable to undergo advanced training at the expense of individuals, and state funding for this need is currently suspended. The international experience of socio-psychological work with single mothers in wartime conditions is described, and on its basis, the main strategies of social assistance to single mothers implemented in different countries are grouped.Along with the theoretical analysis, the article highlights the results of the empirical research, which consisted of several stages: definition of the goal, tasks, object and subject of the research; choice of research methods; direct research; case analysis of the received data and the selection of ways to overcome the outlined problems. The results of the data obtained during the use of psychological diagnostic methods made it possible to describe in detail the main psychological and interpersonal problems that arise by single mothers at various stages of their life. The essence of the concepts “competence”, “professional-pedagogical competence” is revealed, the content of the concept “ethical competence” is characterized. Ethical competence of modern foreign language teacher is defined as an integrative quality of a person, that includes a complex of his/her moral and ethical values and personal characteristics determining the choice of models of teacher’s behavior in various situations of his/her professional pedagogical activity. It has been established that ethical competence as a basic component of professional pedagogical competence of foreign language teacher reflects his/her spirituality and morality, internal culture, the ability to act in accordance with the norms of pedagogical ethics and to take adequate moral decisions.The components included in the model of ethical competence of foreign language teacher are defined, namely: ethical knowledge, communicative skills, psychological position, moral and psychological qualities. The article states that the process of ethical competence formation of foreign language teacher goes through several stages and is a synergistic result of three important components of the educational process: socio-cultural, subject and professionally subjective.The formation of ethically competent teacher is a socially significant problem. The success of education system humanization, the improvement of general culture in society, and the prospects for the development of modern human depend on the solution of the problem mentioned above. Ethical development of a teacher is a continuous process of personal and professional growth, which involves raising of moral awareness level, carrying out professional reflection and formation of the system of attitudes towards the subjects of educational process in accordance with the norms and rules of pedagogical ethics. The expediency of combining innovative and traditional methods and forms of organization of the educational process of training social workers in institutions of higher education has been proven.
