But sometimes the selection of majors becomes boomerang for the students because after received in the department, they fail in the process of studying such as not match with the chosen majors when he has obtained the lessons, students learning interest is reduced so that the values of academic achievement decrease and if the student graduate, the student will find difficulty in finding a job that suits for their interests, even to the drop out. This is certainly a major problem for school management in maintaining these students and it impacts on the costs of education that have been issued, either by parents or by the government who subsidize the school to be useless, because the students do not have sufficient ability for the chosen majors. This study conducted a comparison of several methods of data mining classification in order to obtain the best accuracy value in the process of data training, testing and validation. This research can provide solution on the best classification method in the selection of majors, so it can be used as a reference in choosing the best method and suitable in similar cases, which will result in the students majors to be more accurate. So as to contribute to the school can make an appropriate decision to determine the students majors in accordance with the interests and talents of each student, thus minimizing students wrong in determining the majors that can result directly with the academic achievement of the student. The results obtained that KNN and ID3 method tops in accuracy of both data testing and validation with a value of 100%, C4.5 about 98.61% and 100%, Naïve Bayes 99.31% and 96.45% and the last Random Forest 92.36% and 89.92%. With the development of technology on computers today there is a lot of software that can be used to repair and repair components[2]. The use of V Plow is most applied in belt conveyor transportation systems in power plants with coal fuel. Where the function of the V plow is as a coal plow divider in the conveyor belt before entering the inlet chute. The case that happens a lot inside is what is scattered around the inlet chute, which caused uneven plow rate when passing V plow. This research was conducted to provide the right solution in the construction process of V Plow. By using CFD, we can simulate the flow rate of coal when passing V Plow, you can find out the most optimal forms to produce uniform plows. Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has been successfully applied to evaluate potential dust emissions from bulk material transfer chutes[3]. The implementation of appropriate models and modelling parameters is shown to be critical to the overall accuracy of the simulation results. In this study is the relationship between wide and long angles between V Plow diverter and cleaning of conveyor belts in the conditions of 2 (two) dimensions. The results of this study indicate that V Plow is a diverter with a large opening angle and Plow plate whose length produces optimal plows. This research is expected to be a reference for the application of V Plow in the field, especially in industries that use V Plow and Belt Conveyor as a means to the transportation of raw materials.","PeriodicalId":166437,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Computing, Engineering, and Design (ICCED)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132061655","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Dual channel policy is aimed at achieving the new market potential that can not be reached by traditional channel (retail). Dual channel policy is not always beneficial for all channel members, the offline channel will be cannibalism by online channel. The model developed in this study is expected to accommodate the coordination between players in an integrated supply chain system, where one player uses dual channel policy. In the echelon one coordination is done with consideration of time period of delay in payment. Whereas in echelon two coordination between players is done by consideration of delay in payment and online product launch delay. Numerical calculations are solved with the Solver in Excel software. The coordination contract successfully creates an integrated supply chain. This can be proved by a more minimal total cost when compared to not using one or both of these considerations.","PeriodicalId":166437,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Computing, Engineering, and Design (ICCED)","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133803624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Different from other solutions based on algorithms, in this paper we propose to build a system solution for congestion detection and early warning, based on the real monitoring scene and the status of existing software and hardware for video big data. The software and hardware of the scheme are divided into three layers, and the specific solution is divided into seven steps. The scheme has been applied to some cities in China, such as Shenzhen and Nanjing, and has achieved good performance on large-scale activities. More importantly, this solution is mainly based on unsupervised algorithms, and hence is readily scalable to realworld large-scale scenarios, and is more flexible to apply to different places. In other words, our solution does not need to exhaustively collect a large number of cross-view pairwise labels for each camera pair as required by most existing solutions.","PeriodicalId":166437,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Computing, Engineering, and Design (ICCED)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123993536","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, it is difficult to realize if the bill of quantity is not available. Even, bill of quantity can be arranged after completing data support. To find out the material needs of a building, data is needed and must have been compiled a bill of quantity. How can I know the material requirements when the data is very limited? The Program Model is the right solution to overcome the problem on material needs in house construction projects. To obtain a model, then the model compile it into a program, and find out the material needs of a house construction project, it is very urgent to conduct a research. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data and secondary data of this study were project documents. The data were processed then analyzed using regression method to get a model. The model that had been obtained then processed into a program to estimate the material needs of the house construction projects. This is done by creating the environment to be capable enough to verify the design at all these abstraction levels. Although the interfaces of Design under Test (DUT) ultimately are represented by pin level activity, it is important and useful to maintain most of the verification tasks, like the stimuli generation and data collection, at the transaction level. This work concentrates on creation of a transaction level verification environment similar to the Universal Verification Methodology (UVM), which provides a set of communication channels to connect the components at transaction level using Transaction level Modelling (TLM) interfaces. The methodology described in this work provides a novel way for partitioning the environment and reducing the maintenance of low-level code through auto generation of synthesizable collectors and drivers as well as the first level code for the Bus Functional Models (BFM) and monitors in the test environment. These low-level components are developed to be robust enough to accept the stimuli from a variety of sources to the same agents and keeping the environment mostly independent of the mode of use. The simulation dump for transactions is stored and used as a stimuli to the same agents used during the simulation in the absence of DUT, this replay mode reduces the turnaround time for building the verification collaterals significantly. A case study on verifying a processor sleep handling logic like the sleep walking logics for Memory controller units being implemented these days, is done in this described environment to observe significant improvement in simulation time and verification collateral development.","PeriodicalId":166437,"journal":{"name":"2018 International Conference on Computing, Engineering, and Design (ICCED)","volume":"151 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117352237","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
