This study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data and secondary data of this study were project documents. The data were processed then analyzed using regression method to get a model. The model that had been obtained then processed into a program to estimate the material needs of the house construction projects. This research brought in a model program which used to estimate the material needs of a simple house construction project with only building area input data. By using this program, it can be known all the material needs in a house construction. Abstract

Knowing the material needs of house construction project is very important to anticipate the shortcomings or excess material that cause disadvantages to the contractor.
