Location based services have been used in many mobile applications as well as wireless sensor networks. High accuracy and fast convergence are very important issues for a good localization system. However, the type of obtained received signal strength (RSS) data is very important in order to get high accuracy. In this paper, we introduce three types of RSS data, which are: measured RSS, simulated RSS and average combined RSS. Bayesian network based on fingerprinting technique is used to investigate the effect of the three different types of RSS. The results show the effect of the three different RSS data on the accuracy of estimated location. Due to its inherent safety feature, modular high temperature gas-cooled reactor has been seen as one of the best candidates of building the next generation of nuclear plant. The inherent safety feature can be extended to the whole plant through the multi-modular operating scheme. Therefore, the coordinated control of the nuclear steam supplying system (NSSS) modules is crucial for the operation of multi-modular nuclear plant. In this paper, the module coordination of the two-modular high temperature gas cooled nuclear plant HTR-PM is studied. Then, the module coordination is realized through the flowrate-pressure control of the secondary common steam/water fluid flow network (FFN), and a flowrate-pressure regulator is proposed. The control law takes the simple proportional-integral (PI) form and provides satisfactory closed-loop stability. Applications of linear WSNs are pipeline monitoring, subway tunnel monitoring, perimeter surveillance and border monitoring. For such applications, how connectivity plays a major role and the importance of data confidentiality is discussed in the paper. We initially present two of the existing aggregation schemes and then propose a KPS and an inspired aggregation scheme. We also describe the comparison with existing schemes in terms of communication cost. Detailed mathematical proofs of the proposed schemes are also discussed. Symmetric Key Pre-distribution Scheme (KPS) helps in utilizing the limited storage acquired by every sensor node and aggregation helps in conserving the power requirement by sending data in hop-by-hop fashion to the base station in WSN. It also established relationships of human body frames and proper sitting posture. The models were developed by training some well-known classifiers such as KNN, SVM, MLP, and Decision Tree using the data collected from 49 students of different body frames. Decision Tree classifier demonstrated the most promising model performance with an accuracy of 96.13% and a kappa of 0.921. The data derived from various external source introduces challenges, because it has heterogeneous structural characteristics, syntax and semantics and gives the possibility of incomplete data sources to provide the data required for analysis. It is possible that the required data is not provided by the original data source, but there are other data that can be used to generate this data. This research proposes a framework for development semantic data warehouse that can handle incomplete data and the heterogeneity data problems (format, syntax, and structure) through the use of ontologies. The framework also provides tools to handle incomplete data source. The available tools function is to transform the relevant objects instances to an external ontology classes to generate the required data. Identification the multidimensional elements and the conceptual design of multidimensional schema uses a hybrid approach that combines requirement-driven and supply-driven. The proposed antenna covers 28 GHz millimeter wave frequency bands and can be useful for future 5G hand held devices. The antenna has been designed to be integrated to a mobile phone substrate of dimensions 110 mm × 60 mm, while reserving 70 mm × 35 mm area for a battery, and occupies a small volume of 4 mm × 4 mm × 1.34 mm. It has a wide operating bandwidth (|S11| <; - 10dB) of 3.18 GHz (27.57-30.75 GHz) and a peak gain of 8.8 dBi with a gain variation of less than 0.83 dB within the operating bandwidth. The proposed antenna has stable broadside radiation in yz and xz planes with low side lobe levels. It features wide half power beamwidths of 65.90 in the xz plane and 61.10 in the yz plane at 28 GHz. Recently, IEEE released the 802.15.6 standard which specifies the WBAN's MAC layer and PHY layer, which aims to provide higher data rates, lower power consumption, include data security, and improve Quality of Service. This work investigates the latency and throughput of a WBAN following the specifications introduced by the IEEE 802.15.6 via simulation under secured transmission. Simulations show that security contributes about 0.15% to the latency. Based on such an analysis, appropriate protective systems are designed and included in the smart grid systems. Traditionally, the reliability analysis of smart grids is done using numerical methods and computational intelligence based techniques. However, none of these traditional analysis techniques can guarantee absolute accuracy of the load flow analysis results due to their inherent incompleteness. As a more accurate alternative, we propose to use probabilistic model checking, i.e., a formal analysis method for Markovian models, for conducing the load flow analysis of smart grids. In particular, the paper provides a reliability assessment of smart grid components with backup protection using the PRISM model checker.
