Granting model for a destitute problem can be gained through an integration of Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) with the information of the destitute. The main objective of this study is to create a model of an integrated MCDM techniques (AHP, ELECTRE, PROMETHEE, TOPSIS, and SAW) for the determination eligible poor in poverty alleviation programs and integrates data from various sorts of destitution information. The granting model can be an alternative model for support to the policy makers in multi-decision making, information, reference services, and sources, and efforts to ensure the accuracy of the distribution of the assistance program. It requires an interface to allow interactions between users and applications. One of the elements that distinguishes the quality of an LOR is interface usability. Usability is critical for the success of an application to help users with their objectives. Only a few previous studies have highlighted problems in the usability of LORs. In addition, currently available LOR interfaces often do not help users achieve the objectives of their assignments. Hence, a heuristic study on interface usability was conducted on three chosen LORs. This study aims to achieve two objectives, which are identifying usability problems in current LORs, and suggesting areas of improvement in the current LOR interface. The methodology of this study involves constructing a heuristics questionnaire and obtaining the mean results for each heuristic element of each LOR. Results of analysis have been used to describe the problems of current LORs. Final results showed that there were significant shortcomings in some parts of the LOR interface usability after the study started. STLF problem solving using soft computing approach has been becoming the interest of researchers. This study aims to compare two approaches on anomalous short term load forecasting. These approaches are one method based on Soft Computing, which is Fuzzy Subtractive Clustering (FSC) algorithm and Holt-Winter exponential smoothing, which is included in Time Series Analysis. Load forecasting is defined by the base load and peak load for weekdays and weekend days. The experimental results verify that the influences range optimization from FSC algorithm provided a better accuracy of forecasting results affecting on the efficiency of generation cost. The Library of Universitas Indonesia, as one of Asia's largest library with more than 1,500,000 book collections, should also concern about accessibility to balance its numerous collections. UI-ana collections or works produced by and associated with Universitas Indonesia; in particular theses (undergraduate and graduate theses) and dissertations are one of the largest numbers of collections in Universitas Indonesia's Library. However, the current collection's management system was still based on the submission of the collection in Universitas Indonesia's Library. Since these collections are arranged with no exact criterion, it is harder for users to find theses and dissertations with the same topic. Therefore, management of these collections based on certain criterion is extremely needed to facilitate users in searching these collections. This research aims to determine the categories that can represent theses and dissertations through abstract text mining of each collection in 2005–2015 with a clustering algorithm, namely Self-organizing Map. Recent studies have focused on the use of data mining techniques to build predictive models that are able to diagnose the ARI. The objective of this research is to develop a diagnosis system to predict ARI in infants using C4.5 algorithm. The algorithm used to build a decision tree. This research is a collaboration authors with the hospitals and doctors. The dataset was obtained from medical records of patients with respiratory disease from a hospital. The data are used as training data and test data. Symptoms that are used as input systems are the danger sign, fever, cough, shortness of breath and fast breathing. The first step is to pre-process subsequent data algorithm classification to form a decision tree. After the decision tree was formed, continued set the rules. That decision rules are implemented to establish the diagnosis system. Validation is done by comparing the results of diagnosis system with the doctor diagnosis. The comparison showed that the results of diagnosis system approaching the diagnosis of doctor. From these results, it can be concluded that the C4.5 algorithm could help to diagnose ARI. The resulting media support personalized learning. Media evaluated from the aspect of media, materials, and operations. This study uses research and development (R & D) includes five stages of the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation. The impact of media in learning is based on improving learning achievement in the subject matter the number system in one of the high school. Educational learning success with this game is also based on students' responses in the form of testimony. The research result is a media that meet the application eligibility media aspect average of 87.61%, material aspects of 87.22%, and operational aspects of 81.67% with excellent qualifications. Learning outcomes are a significant improvement in student achievement showed with a gain of 0.61. Learning students' response to positive states with testimonasi 23% stated very agree, 72% agree, and a small portion of 5% disagree. That condition increases the purchasing power of middle-class consumer over the goods, including automotive products. In consequence, all of automotive products sales have increased significantly from 2009 until 2013. The raising number of automotive products sales in Indonesia was followed by the growth of consumer financing. From 2009 until 2013, 26 new business licenses have been established. As competition in the financing industry is getting tight, the financing companies have to conduct some efforts in order to retain its customer loyalty. Customer loyalty is important for business sustainability. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and Self-Organizing Map (SOM) approach are applied to find factors affecting customer loyalty. Consumer's concern based on aspirations and complaints were then identified by using text-mining. SOM will cluster the aspirations and complaints of the customers into several groups. Consumer satisfaction affects customer loyalty and it also directly affected by consumer perceived value. Thereby, an enhancement of classification technique is required to accommodate multiple images (from multi-view) automated diagnostic. Moreover, it will be beneficial for radiologist during diagnostic procedures. Studies underlying Multi-Instance (MI) problem were reviewed, and it is found that there exist few studies discuses on collective approach by combining multi-instances for bag-level decision. However, there is none focuses on purely bag level decision which has been main focus of this study. In conventional approach, an issue occurred when an instance in a bag give negative label even it may contain a very small portion to be a positive label. This decision will be improved if represent corresponding to the complete image from collective information from all instances. A preliminary experiment was conducted using conventional techniques. It proved that single level decision acquired ‘not good’ performance need to be improved. Thus, a new framework using group-based image analysis strategy is proposed. In this work, piecewise linear contrast stretch based on unsharp masking algorithm is employed for image enhancement. The proposed method minimizes contrast problem. Experiments had been done on four categories of animal leather images namely crocodile leather, monitor lizard leather, cow leather and goat leather. The proposed method was then compared with other piecewise linear transforms based image enhancement techniques including intensity level slicing, bit plane slicing and contrast stretching methods. PSNR, MSE and SSIM values were obtained by using our proposed method and our proposed method produced better result. The values of PSNR when using piecewise linear contrast stretch unsharp masking (PLCSUS) respectively for crocodile leather, monitor lizard leather, cow leather and goat leather are 30.06 dB, 18.97 dB, 20.66 dB and 14.73 dB. This value is higher when compared to using other methods on the same image.
