To establish trust, traditional grids use various methods, mostly centrally oriented ones, such as certification authorities, VO management servers or credentials pools. Ad hoc grids are characterized by the absence of a central trust authority; therefore collaborating entities must establish and maintain a trust relationship among themselves.\u0000 The paper presents a short overview of ad hoc grids, the definitions as well as authentication and authorization mechanisms of the environment. Zelinka","doi":"10.1145/1551722.1551752","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.1145/1551722.1551752","url":null,"abstract":"Transport telematics applications require availability of the seamless secure communications solutions covering selected usually wide areas and frequently serving extensive number of moving objects. Provided service is required to be served with selectable levels of service quality. There is available quite extensive range of wireless technologies provided either by public providers or privately. Described expectations lead to multi-path solutions where different wireless services are combined and selection of the best possible alternative is based on L3/L2 switching supported by different system level of the decision processes. Such approach is supported by ISO/CEN activities usually called as CALM family of standards. Relevant decisions must be based on deep understanding of applied technologies and precisely quantified requirements on system as well as subsystems performance indicators tolerance range. These limits are identified with aim to keep service provisioning on appropriate quality level with minimal impact of continuously changed conditions in time and served area. To cover identified system requirements each applied technology must be studied in detail to identify specific available performance indicators as well as their internal interactions to be able to monitor and manage each technology on appropriate quality level. This paper presents results of GSM data services laboratory measurement. Obtained results are compared with results of already published WiMax service analysis. In order to remotely monitor its functions we implemented a Jade-Leap mobile application. We developed a central ontology for context representation and the support for behavior changes according to user's affective feedback. We also emphasize the issues related to ontologies supporting agent communication, sensor integration and affective sensing. Their increasing presence in electronic devices is a fact, so they may be taken into account for PRNG. As an example, the Wii control device (Wii Remote) is analyzed. Among other characteristics, it includes accelerometers and an IR camera, which can be a valid source of entropic information. As these characteristics are appearing in other devices (for example, mobile phones), the aim of this paper is to study the reliability of these sensors as sources of non-predictive information, which could be useful in many areas. Standard algorithm methodologies are used to corroborate the analysis. An automated agent-based system is a good solution to help decision-makers in the management of weather information to road users in relation to traffic conditions.\u0000 In this paper, a distributed system based in autonomous agents and rules for road weather information has been proposed. However, the problem of establishing identity federations in dynamic open environments, where it is desirable to speed up the processes of service provisioning and deprovisioning, has not been fully addressed. This paper reviews the existing frameworks for identity federation, analyzing the underlying trust mechanisms and its suitability to be applied in the mentioned environments. Real data of electric power consumption of traction substations in the Czech Republic within one year of train diagram 2006/2007 validity are used for verification of the models.
