This research aims to provide a description of the theory and basis in conducting language error analysts and their implementation in Arabic language research. This research is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The main data sources are journals that contain analysis studies of language errors. The second data source is a supporting document that is still related to this study. Data collection using documentary method. Analyze the data using descriptive analysis. The results showed the theory of Corder, Gas Morever, Selingker, Rusydi, and al-Rajih } i in the analysis of language errors, the existence of five basic in conducting analysis of language errors, and the existence of two categories in implementing language error analysis in Arabic language research. Findings of new theories and basic changes in research may occur, so as not to close the possibility of addition or reduction of theory and basis in the analysis of these language errors. Therefore, learning techniques are needed that can improve students' ability to write Arabic. IMLA is a learning technique to justify as well as improve writing that needs improvement. The purpose of this study is based on the aim of obtaining empirical data regarding the effectiveness of the application of the IMLA method in writing Arabic for class XI students of senior High School Cililin, Sumur Bandung, West Bandung. This research is an experimental research type. The population in this study was class XI senior High School Cililin, Sumur Bandung, West Bandung, amounting to 37 students. The research data was obtained by presenting a dictation skill test IMLA and proved by the results of the t-test. From the results of data analysis, it can be obtained t-count (10.87) > t-table (1.687) with a significant level of 5%. Jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab terutama kurun waktu antara tahun 2014 sampai 2015 setidaknya sudah mencapai 74 orang. Selama kurun waktu tersebut belum pernah dilakukan penelusuran lulusan (tracer study). Jurusan ingin memperoleh informasi atau masukan dari alumni tentang kekurangan yang mungkin terjadi dalam proses pendidikan dan setelah menempuh pendidikan serta respon stakeholder atau pengguna terhadap kompetensi dan kinerja alumni jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : Profil jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon; Profil alumni jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Tahun 2014/2015; Respon stakeholder terhadap kompetensi dan kinerja alumni jurusan Pendidikan Bahasa Arab IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Tahun 2014/2015; dan Perbandingan profil lulusan tahun 2012/2013 dengan lulusan 2014 /2015 mengenai kinerja lulusan di lapangan dan respon stakeholder. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survai, teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil alumni PBA adalah menjadi pendidik bahasa Arab di tingkat dasar sampai menengah, menjadi konsultan pengembang pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasis multimedia, menjadi peneliti pendidikan bahasa Arab tingkat pemula dan penerjemah pemula; sebagian besar alumni tahun 2014/2015 sudah bekerja sebelum lulus sebesar 52%, mereka bekerja sesuai bidang studi sebesar 64%, ada yang mendapat gaji pertama sebesar 4-5 juta sebesar 3%. Penilaian alumni terhadap mata kuliah, sistem penilaian dan pelayanan sangat baik. Dalam prakteknya arah dari pembahasan kritik sastra, tepatnya karya sastra berupa puisi/syi’ir lebih fokus membicarakan tentang penilaian terhadap karya sastra berdasarkan hasil penafsiran dan analisis pemahaman. Sementara itu dalam sastra Arab, kritik sastra sendiri sudah muncul sejak masa sebelum datangnya Islam (zaman Jahiliyah) dan berkembang sampi awal kemunculan islam hingga berlanjut pada periode setelahnya. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam kajian pustaka yang memahami dan mendalami pendapat dengan pendekatan studi historis Tokoh. Adapun sumber primer yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah Kitab Al-Syi’ru wa Al-Syu’ara karya dari Ibnu Qutaibah. Data yang didapat yaitu pendapat Ibnu Qutaibah dalam kritik dan penilaiannya terhadap puisi Arab. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu bahwa menurut Ibnu Qutaibah berpendapat ada empat kategori tingkatan penilaian dalam puisi Arab, di antaranya: 1. Puisi yang di nilai baik dan bagus baik dari segi pilihan lafaẓ (diksi) dan maknanya, 2. Puisi yang di nilai bagus hanya dari bentuk lafaẓnya, tapi tidak pada maknanya, 3. Puisi yang di nilai bagus dari segi maknanya, tapi tidak pada lafaẓnya, 4. Puisi yang lafaẓ dan maknanya baru bisa pahami dan dimengerti setelah sampai selesai membaca keduanya. Salah satu bahasa yang digunakan manusia adalah bahasa Arab. Bahasa Arab memiliki urgensi penting dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seorang muslim. Karenanya seorang muslim dituntut untuk memelajari dan memahami Bahasa Arab. Namun dalam proses pembelajrannya muncul beberapa faktor penghambat yang dirasakan pelajar bahasa Arab dalam memahami Bahasa Arab. Diantara faktor pemnghambat tersebut adalah adalah kurangnya motivasi belajar, kurang melatih kemampuan yang dimiliki, rendahnya minat untuk menghafal kosa kata baru, dan tidak memurajaah materi, minimnya fasilitas belajar, materi yang tidak terstruktur, dan kuragnya buku bacaan Bahasa Arab,.
