As a result, channel modeling for UOWC is becoming critical. In this study, UOWC channel is modeled by tracing photons conveyance in underwater environment. The current work seeks to enlist the phase function as a significant factor in channel characteristics. In this study, UOWC channel characteristics are examined by employing a numerical simulation of the Monte-Carlo process and considering chlorophyll concentration as an input factor, with reference to Petzold’s data. The effect of the angular shape of the phase function on the channel characteristics is evaluated by means of studying different models of photon scattering, specifically, One Term Henyey-Greenstein (OTHG) model, Two Term Henyey-Greenstein (TTHG) model, Fournier-Forand phase function and the Petzold’s measured phase function. Simulation results established critical need of employing an accurate phase function for finding new direction of photon after scattering. It is revealed that considering extinction coefficient for estimation of power loss as by Beer’s law overestimates the path loss, as a consequence in turbid water condition communication ranges reduces.","PeriodicalId":161694,"journal":{"name":"2018 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I)","volume":"413 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124425417","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

But the basic problem with this technique is the reactivation or transition noise. Various techniques to minimize ground-bouncing noise have been analyzed in this paper. The techniques have been broadly classified in two categories: Sleep signal slew rate modulation techniques and Charge recycling technique. A new charge recycling technique with block dividing approach has also been proposed. All the techniques have been verified with a 32-bit TSPC adder implemented in 45nm technology. The proposed technique reduces the peak amplitude of reactivation noise by 95.2%, 58.5%, 51%, 37% and 73% compared to the compared to the Standard MTCMOS, simple rise-time delay, two-step rise time delay, three-step rise time delay and conventional charge recycling approaches respectively. The proposed technique also suppresses the leakage power and reactivation delay significantly.","PeriodicalId":161694,"journal":{"name":"2018 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I)","volume":"25 5","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132335932","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This necessitates the robust forecasting techniques in terms of faster speed and high accuracy. There is a large number of statistical and machine learning methods available for forecasting, but individually their speed and accuracy is lesser than the hybrid methods. This paper proposes two-hybrid methods ARIMA-SVR and ARIMA-RNN which are very fast and accurate. These methods are tested on a wind farm dataset of two zones, and hourly predictions are performed on these. Results obtained have shown that ARIMA-SVR hybrid architecture outperformed the ARIMA-RNN for the selected two wind farm zones.","PeriodicalId":161694,"journal":{"name":"2018 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I)","volume":"2673 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128090144","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Selection of right stock/securities becomes very critical decision to take. However these days even making the right decision of selecting a security can become a wrong one if the timing of entry into a security is incorrect. Moreover the decision to exit from a security is also an important one because if not taken timely will erode all gains. Also proportion of selecting the securities is an important problem in stock recommendation. It is a complicated task to decide which stock should be selected as in stock market their exists lot of uncertainty on returns from stock making it necessary to make balance between the optimizing expected return and minimizing or avoiding the risk of any losses. In addition to above this work tries to protect the gains made by generating exit signals when the stocks starts retreating and then generates reentry signal again signaling to reenter the stocks. The selection of stocks would be based upon mix of fundamental and technical approaches.","PeriodicalId":161694,"journal":{"name":"2018 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123772728","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Refrigerators are commonly used for storing and preserving food for an extended period of time. Modern lifestyle has made people more work centric which spares less time for them to focus on their daily food consumption. Eventually they become unaware of quantity and quality of food stored inside their refrigerators. As a result, the stored food in refrigerators is left uneaten and wasted more often. Food wastage leads to rise in greenhouse gases emission and food insecurity especially in developing countries. This paper presents an idea of a smart refrigerator that is able to detect the quality and measure the quantity of food products stored inside it. It is designed to notify user of food shortage, food spoilage and current status of food items using an android application on a mobile device. The user is able to detect spoilage of food item in preliminary stage. Thus, it will provide user a manageable as well as convenient way of food storage and preservation.","PeriodicalId":161694,"journal":{"name":"2018 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I)","volume":"27 21","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120835917","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In HDS, load balancing approaches has a vital role in tasks allocation for avoiding resources overloaded or underloaded. Over the past decades, these approaches have been developed to improve objective parameters. The mapping problem of independent Batch of Tasks (BoT) on computational machines with heterogeneities to optimize various quality of service (QoS) in distributed system has been proven as NP-complete. In this paper, we propose an Enhanced Load Balancing Strategy with Migration cost (ELBSM) to optimize load imbalance on nodes in the system. We evaluate our work through comparative performance evaluation using randomly generated batch of tasks by using MATLAB 8.5.0. Experimental study suggests that the proposed work prevails over existing strategies in terms of considered parameters under study.","PeriodicalId":161694,"journal":{"name":"2018 3rd International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Informatics (IC3I)","volume":"202 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2018-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121111120","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is a growing technology that permits devices, objects to speak among one another and send knowledge to Server or Cloud through the Core Network. Therefore, consequently we tend to have developed a Brainy IOT primarily based machine-controlled Irrigation system. Wherever device knowledge is touching wet soil, temperature is captured and consequently machine learning algorithmic is deployed for analysing the device knowledge for prediction towards irrigating the soil with water or switching ON/OFF fan to control temperature. This can be a totally machine-controlled wherever devices communicate among themselves and apply the intelligence in real time monitoring & analysis.
