As the main objective of this paper is to understand the influence of the urban planning process on the architectural outcome, this paper tackles this issue, trying to understand the dilemma of their practices. Therefore, this paper explores the Europeanization process in Cairo, which started during the first half of the 19 th century, by the French Expedition originating Cairo to such a French model: “Paris of the Orient”. The Europeans and Muhammed Ali’s dynasty strategic endeavors to modernize Cairo according to the European model are analyzed, in order to examine the urban and architectural changes and development aspects, regarding the old traditional city, alongside with the foundation of the new modern one al-Azbakiya , which was the main city vital hub between 1798 till 1863. During such overlapping process of transition, a new field for research to be explored: the Rumi style, introduced by the royal patrons, then adopted by the local people, and which was an eclectic style, influenced by the Turkish and French Baroque features. while different foreign new building typologies also appeared during this period, the case study examines selected Cairene palatial, residential, and public buildings. More experimental studies are required for understanding the real behavior of modified concrete with Nano-graphene. In this paper, one hundred-eighty tested specimens with different Nano-graphene types and different ratios were tested to study the behaviour of modified concrete specimens containing Nano-particles at various water-cement ratios. The specimens' dimensions were 40 mm  40 mm  160 mm. eighteen tested specimens are control. In the first group, one hundred-eight tested specimens were prepared by adding Graf Pro nano graphene particles with ratios equal to 0.03%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, 1% and 2.5% of cement. In the second group, fifty-four specimens were prepared by adding Graf Plus nano graphene particles with ratios equal to 0.25%, 0.50% and 1% of cement. In the third group, fifty-four were prepared by adding Graf Max nano graphene particles with ratios equal to 0.25%, 0.50% and 1% of cement. All these specimens at w/c=0.3,0.4 and 0.5. Comparison between the tested control specimens and results of tested specimens containing Nano-particles was done. The flexural and compression testing were recorded. The results showed that the use of Nano-particles enhances the microstructure of cement mortar by filling the harmful pores and dandifying the microstructure of cement mortar. However, despite these advancements, there are still domains where AI struggles to fully emulate human capabilities, notably creativity , a unique human attribute. Architects can leverage AI technologies to streamline their work, handling non-creative tasks efficiently and allowing more time for innovative processes. Despite the wealth of data AI generates within seconds, many architects and designers remain unfamiliar with integrating AI into their processes. Through a comprehensive study of AI, including its patterns, decision-making processes, data-related predictions, and event presentations, it becomes clear that AI can significantly contribute to various phases of architectural design process, benefiting from its continuous learning capabilities, self-evolution, and performance enhancement. This research aims to formulate a framework that delineates the integration of AI and its patterns in reshaping and enhancing the different phases of the architectural design process, focusing on accomplishing non-creative tasks, ultimately saving valuable time and effort. This, in turn, can support architects within the creative process, idea development, and achieving optimal results while presenting innovative designs. That, grounded in a theoretical framework that illuminates relevant literature related to AI, its diverse types, and patterns. This research delves into the analysis of ride comfort in rail vehicles employing semi-active suspension control, examining its impact on the vertical dynamics of the train. The study employs the Harmony Search (HS) algorithm to optimize the gains of a proportional integral derivative (PID) controller, leveraging the self-adaptive global best harmony search method (SGHS) for its efficacy in minimizing tuning time and achieving optimal objective function values. The efficacy of the proposed controller is assessed through simulation of a quarter-rail vehicle model featuring six degrees of freedom (6-DOF) using MATLAB/Simulink software. One such method is the empirical wavelet transform (EWT), which is used for signal analysis. This study combines the EWT method with the correlation coefficient to diagnose bearing faults using experimentally measured vibration signals. First, the empirical wavelet transform method is used to analyze the vibration signal and extract the amplitude modulated-frequency modulated (AM-FM) modes. Subsequently, the correlation coefficient is computed to identify significant components that indicate bearing faults. Finally, the envelope spectrum is generated for these significant components in order to extract the characteristic frequencies associated with bearing faults. Metal burnishing is a prominent surface finishing process that plays a significant role in enhancing surface quality. This research focuses on the optimization of ball burnishing process parameters using the Taguchi and Response Surface Methodology (RSM) approaches. The study employs three distinct tools designed for this purpose, with experiments conducted. Surface roughness and out-of-roundness measurements were performed. The Taguchi method demonstrated that the rigid tool achieved minimum surface roughness at a burnishing speed of 500 rpm, a feed rate of 0.09 mm/rev, and a penetration depth of 0.35 mm. Conversely, the pneumatic tool achieved the minimum surface roughness at a burnishing speed of 600 rpm, a feed rate of 0.1 mm/rev, and a penetration depth of 0.2 mm. This research focused on hot mix asphalt (HMA) mixtures that replaced 40% of natural aggregate (limestone) with recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) treated with waste engine oil (WEO). Two types of asphalt binders were used: traditional AC60-70 and the same binder modified with 3%, 4%, and 5% crumb rubber (CR) by the weight of bitumen. The study aimed to investigate the influence of CR polymers on asphalt pavement performance and explore the feasibility of using WEO for asphalt modification. Various asphalt mixtures with different CR percentages were tested to evaluate their mechanical properties, including stability, fatigue resistance, permanent deformation, and loss of stability. The durability and resistance of the asphalt mixtures were also assessed through indirect tensile strength testing before and after exposure to water. The study found that the CR-modified mixes showcased several advantages compared to conventional mixes. These included enhanced fatigue and permanent deformation properties, reduced susceptibility to temperature variations, and improved resistance to moisture damage. Overall, the CR-modified mixes demonstrated improved performance compared to the regular mixes. The results indicated that the developed HMA, which included 40% RCA and 4% crumb rubber binder, improved stability and the Percentage of Indirect Tensile Strength Ratio (ITSR). Among the different CR percentages tested, the 4% crumb rubber modification demonstrated the highest fatigue life. Furthermore, the addition of 3% waste engine oil to the modified control mix (MCM) with 40% RCA and 4% CR appeared to enhance the durability of the asphalt mixture. A two-dimensional model was developed to simulate morphological changes in the area. Results show significant channel changes due to decreased flows and sediment supply, particularly in recent decades. Erosion and deposition areas in the study region are presented in this paper. These findings will aid decision-makers in area development, navigation, and the protection of water structures and riverbanks. The results can also support analyses of sediment transport in the past twenty years and serve as a reference for future predictions of morphological changes in the area. A comparison was made between the measured cross sections of 2003 and the same area in 2020 by using the SMS (Surface-water Modeling System).
