The hypothesis that guides the research suggests that the social representations that members of the educational field construct about the presence and the school performance of children of migrant origin, are influenced by the relevance of the normalizing discourses of the educational neurosciences that are established as new modalities of management, discipline and social control of diversity (migratory) in the school, contributing to the reproduction of exclusion processes. The general objective of the project is to investigate how discourses coming from researches in the field of educational neuroscience, developed from 1990 to the present, influence the social representations of members of primary and secondary schools in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires on migratory diversity. The purpose is to focus on the presence of discourses tending to legitimize stigmatizing pedagogical actions on migrant otherness.","PeriodicalId":161163,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía Revista de Ciencias Sociales e Historia","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127632074","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

En su implementacion concreta las propuestas denominadas interculturales suelen limitarse a los primeros anos de la escolaridad. La escolarizacion de los jovenes migrantes y descendientes de migrantes no es atendida en su particularidad por estas politicas. El trabajo de investigacion que desarrollo en contextos familiares, comunitarios y escolares en una localidad de Buenos Aires con un componente importante de poblacion procedente de Bolivia pone en cuestion esta situacion. La atencion a las voces y experiencias de padres, referentes comunitarios, jovenes y docentes muestra los multiples desafios en clave intercultural que el contexto migratorio plantea a las escuelas. En particular me detengo en los avances y limites de las escuelas secundarias de la localidad para trabajar con la condicion transnacional de vida de los jovenes y dar lugar a la apuesta simultanea de ellos y sus familias por mantener su distintividad como colectivo e incluirse en la sociedad argentina. EnglishArgentine educational policies began in the last years to incorporate intercultural focus allowing specific dispositives for the indigenous population. In their actual implementation so called intercultural proposals are generally limited to the first years of schooling. Schooling of young migrants and migrant descendants is not atended in its particularities-specificities by these policies. The research I develop in families, community and school contexts, in a neighbourhood of Buenos Aires with a high component of bolivian migrants, poses this issue. Paying attention to the voices and experiences of fathers, community leaders, young and teachers, shows the various challenges, that the intercultural perspective poses to schools in migratory contexts. I focus in the advances and limits of secondary schools in the neighbourhood to work with the transnational condition of life of these young, and to take into account the double intention, of these young and their families to maintain their distinctivity as a collective group, while to be included in the Argentine society.","PeriodicalId":161163,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía Revista de Ciencias Sociales e Historia","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122834730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Three dimensions of transnationality are identified from postcolonial and decolonial perspectives: Interdependence of the bourgeois childhood project and the colonization of foreign continents; destruction and devaluation of childhoods in the former colonial regions; problematization of the eurocentric-imperial childhood project. The assumption that the childhood pattern created in Europe represents the highest form of civilization and can serve as a global, transnational yardstick is rejected as (post)colonial-imperial presumption.","PeriodicalId":161163,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía Revista de Ciencias Sociales e Historia","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130437733","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Con tal proposito, analizamos las representaciones sobre migrantes bolivianas al interior de los espacios escolares del barrio: un primario de adultos del cual son alumnas, un jardin de infantes y una escuela primaria de ninos/as, a los cuales asisten sus hijos/as. Al mismo tiempo, teniendo en cuenta que cada institucion interpela, bajo diferentes logicas, a dichas mujeres de acuerdo con su origen nacional y/o el de sus hijas/os, abordamos tambien la configuracion de sus procesos identitarios a partir de las categorias “alumnas” y “madres”. Para ello, nos remitimos principalmente a las caracteristicas de los procesos migratorios en la ciudad de Cordoba (y en el barrio), la dinamica particular que caracteriza a las diferentes instituciones escolares a las que haremos referencia y, algunos aspectos relativos a la condicion socioeconomica del barrio en general y de la poblacion migrante en particular. With this purpose, the representations about Bolivian migrants were worked inside the school spaces of the neighborhood: a primary of adults of which they are students, a kindergarten and a primary school of children, of which they sons and daughters are students. Their identification processes will also be analyzed taking into account each institution under different logics, interpellates these women in relation to their national origin and their children' national origin. Para ello hemos aplicado un cuestionario estructurado, compuesto por preguntas abiertas, preguntas cerradas y escalogramas que nos han permitido analizar en mayor profundidad las representaciones sociales que los alumnos de 14 a 16 anos asistentes a dichas escuelas, producen acerca de diversas nacionalidades migrantes, asi como de los vinculos en el aula y el rol de la escuela en el tratamiento de la discriminacion y la migracion. Presentamos los resultados para la nacionalidad boliviana, para la cual hemos construido categorias de analisis de acuerdo con la Teoria Fundamentada, entendiendo que estas representaciones dificultan la construccion de relaciones interculturales intra-aulicas. We also analyze the role of the school in the treatment of discrimination and migration. We present the results for the Bolivian nationality, for which we have constructed categories of analysis according to the Grounded Theory, understanding that these representations hinder the construction of classroom intercultural relations.","PeriodicalId":161163,"journal":{"name":"Autoctonía Revista de Ciencias Sociales e Historia","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-08-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124352544","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
