The SAM neuron model is a type of one of the most popular LIF spiking neuron model. The SAM neural network can be an on-chip trainable model because the model does not require any multiplier under our proposed Back Propagation (BP) base training algorithm. As a result, the model achieved an XOR logic element in a unit of spikes. Moreover, we achieved a multiplier-less implementation with our intended algorithm and architecture. The design allows an arbitrary number setting for the hidden and output neurons.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131464627","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To realize better articulated robots, more complex and high-performance motions using many servomotors will be required in the future. To use many servomotors, many microcontrollers controlling them are required. This approach may increase the scale of the system. This fact will lead to an increase in cost and largen the difficulty to control and manage many servomotors. To solve these problems, we aim to realize a scalable and flexible PWM mechanism using a general-purpose dynamic partial reconfiguration microcontroller that can dynamically reconfigure the circuit. Dynamic Partial Reconfiguration can be applied to control many servo motors with a single platform. Since this is a single platform running, the number of hardware can be physically reduced, which greatly reduces the cost. In addition, it can be expected to save power because only one part of the system operates at a time. The goal of this research is to develop a circuit that generates PWM, which is constructed by dynamic partial reconfiguration. In our experiments, we compare the conventional PWM generation circuit with the servomotor-specific circuit and examine the differences in circuit size and performance. The experiments showed that the proposed system, which specifies only the numerical value of the angle, can be executed in a shorter time than the conventional system, in which the period and pulse width of the servomotor to be used are specified from the CPU to run the PWM generation circuit.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"54 11","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120819846","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the accumulation of time, people’s mental and psychological conditions have been affected to a certain extent. These mental illnesses will not cause any impact under normal circumstances, but once they break out, they will cause trauma that cannot be ignored in life or even in society. Therefore, we hope to design a system program that can chat with humans in daily life, and it can feel the human’s emotional changes in daily conversations. When humans have negative emotions, it can comfort us in time and even warn humans when our negative emotions reach a certain limit. When humans have positive emotions, it can give humans affirmative approval and encouragement. Based on this concept, we must first analyze the different emotions that humans design in daily conversations. This article is mainly based on the basic characteristics of audio signals to judge the user’s emotional changes. The database we use is six different emotional voices recorded by four voice actors, and each voice contains 50 single sentences for emotional recognition analysis. keywords: Voice emotions analysis, Voice feature value, Voice speed","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"713 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123839471","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, various apps have been developed and services have been provided. So, we wondered if there was a way to make the game more entertaining. In addition, the number of people who use online shopping has increased. Since online shopping is purchased without looking at the actual product, trouble may occur. Therefore, we wondered if there was a way to convey information that was close to the real thing to customers. Our research aims to achieve these two goals. In order to achieve this research purpose, we will develop a projection-type simple stereoscopic display with a touch panel functionality. First, a game character or product is projected on the display, and the game character or product is touched and operated. As a result of the experiment, we were able to move the image projected on the display.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"299 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121731257","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In recent years, with the aging of the population, there is a need for a universal design that allows anyone to easily operate electrical products. To the aim, a pulse-type of digital switches have been developed that allow the switch type and number of switches to be easily changed. However, the switch has two problems that the processing time is relatively long and the response time becomes longer as the number of switches increases. Further, since the output of the negative logic sensor module is the opposite of that of positive logic module, there is a problem that ON / OFF malfunctions when the negative logic sensor module is attached. In our study, in order to solve these problems, the processing time is shortened and calibration functions are added, and their validities are verified. As a result, compared to the conventional method, the processing time is shortened from 15 [ms] to 1 [ms] in this study. All switches work correctly with a simple calibration, even if we don't know in advance whether the switches will work with positive or negative logic. Thus, we will solve the problems of the conventional method and realize an input device that is easier for users to use.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"32 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127656598","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The first author has been requested by Kumamoto Prefectural Agricultural Research Center Production Environment Research Institute to carry out the contracted research from December 2020 to March 2021. As part of the test research project \"Evaluation of the effect of labor‐ saving agricultural work by introducing assist suits in Reiwa 2 (2020)\", the degree of autonomic nerve activity and muscle activity are investigated using dedicated equipment, and to quantify the effect of labor‐saving agricultural work by wearing an assist suit is the purpose. In order to evaluate the labor-saving effect, \"stress evaluation by autonomic nerves\", \"reduction rate of muscle activity\" and \"motion analysis by a video\" are required, and as measuring devices, heart rate sensor, EMG sensor, and video camera are used. However, since the various measuring instruments owned by the authors are separate systems, it is impossible to synchronously acquire the respective data. Therefore, it is very burdensome for the analyst to manually adjust the acquisition timing of each data after the experiment is completed, and it is difficult to perform perfect synchronization. Therefore, it is reported to be able to facilitate the acquisition of data for demonstration experiments by using the system the authors developed.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127814853","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

And their faults are one of the main reasons that make machines break down and this problem should be investigated. Thus, this study develops an effective and flexible diagnosis method for ball bearings. By setting up a rotor bearing-experiment platform and pre-designing failures on bearings or rotating shaft to simulate the service of bearings. Sensors hired are two accelerometers, a microphone, an acoustic emission detector, and a thermal couple. Various statistical methods are used for data reduction and to extract features. Through systematic analysis, it is possible to find the most sensitive features. Those indexes are then fed into autoencorder, which is an unsupervised machine learning scheme, for training the collected data to predict the possible bearing failure type and status. For ease of visualization, the results are mapped into a three-dimensional space for examining the performance in failure diagnosis. The investigation results show that the hired machine learning method performs well with appropriate feature indexes. Finally, specific diagnosis models are created for each corresponding bearing failure condition and a novel whole diagnosis process is proposed to integrate all these models for counting possible multiple causes of failure. This proposed diagnosis flow should be able to significantly improve the prediction accuracy on the reliabilities of rotating machines and could be promoted to other related applications.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123166621","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the age of Industry 4.0, data is one of the most valuable resources available and, with appropriate processing and analysis, can improve the quality and adaptability of various applications. One such application is the monitoring and classification of AntiNecking Control in a Hot Strip Mill. This paper proposes a deep learning approach to this application through the use of a pre-trained Convolutional Neural Network. The proposed system binarily classifies the timing of Anti-Necking Control strokes and has been optimised using grid search optimisation in conjunction with k-fold cross validation to determine an optimal time series image classification model.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116129392","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A line trace type automatic guided vehicle is used as a solution to the problem. However, the method has some disadvantages that the route cannot be changed easily and that it cannot move while avoiding obstacles on the route. Therefore, we focused on drones that can move freely in space. As a method of autonomous movement of a drone in a non-GPS environment such as in a warehouse, a method using a stereo camera is mainly used. However, there are disadvantages in terms of cost and accuracy. Thus, in order to improve these disadvantages, we focused on a method for detectiong self-position using changes in the illuminance of light. We propose a method for detectiong three-dimensional self-position that uses three LEDs and photodiodes which are modulated to different frequencies. We experimented to check the validity of the method, and showed that this is an effective method for detecting the selfposition of the drone in a room. It has the advantages that it can move on any route just by installing three LEDs, and that the cost is low.","PeriodicalId":161085,"journal":{"name":"The Proceedings of The 9th IIAE International Conference on Industrial Application Engineering 2020","volume":"391 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123364259","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
