Malaysia is no exception to face the disruptive effects of this pandemic, especially on education issues. Therefore, Malaysia had to take drastic measures to curb the spread of this pandemic by enforcing the Movement Control Order (MCO). Among the main essence of MCO is the directive to close institutions of higher education. This matter will cause a huge impact on the country's education system. Therefore, an initiative that is teaching and learning (PdP) virtually or online is fully implemented in the country to ensure that learning activities do not stop due to the spread of this pandemic. The study found that students began to lose interest in virtual learning. Students begin to feel less confident with online learning sessions. Indirectly, student’s disciplinary problems will increase thus affecting student’s mental health issues. In addition, new norms in living have had a negative impact on student’s learning sessions with lecturers. The attitude of lecturers who do not understand the situation of students is the main challenge of online learning sessions. It will be a problem that students will begin to lose focus, not be able to follow the rhythm of learning and eventually will drop out of knowledge. This study is focusing on student satisfaction with online applications and lecturer’s attitudes towards students should be conducted. Therefore, this study aims to examine the level of student’s satisfaction with online applications and the attitudes of lecturers in distance learning. To achieve this objective, the researcher uses a quantitative method to conduct a survey through a questionnaire using Google Form. This study took a sample of students from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Parit Raja, Batu Pahat, Johor consisting of undergraduate and diploma students. Data collection through Google Form is channeled using the medium of Whatsapp, Telegram and e-mail. This data analysis uses the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS 2.3) to strengthen the study. The results of the study found that the students have high satisfaction with the online application conducted by UTHM during Online Distance Learning (ODL). Similarly, the level of satisfaction of the students towards the attitude of the lecturers who were seen to be very satisfied during the learning sessions.","PeriodicalId":160994,"journal":{"name":"Al Hikmah International Journal of Islamic Studies and Human Sciences","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124635181","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless, such regimes are critical to successful public transportation management because they define the rights and duties of public transportation operators and passengers, with the goal of limiting passenger annoyance and injury while also improving their overall safety. We look at a key component of public transportation, namely the transporter's dedication to passenger safety, as it is practiced in Arab countries like Egypt and Iraq. We do so by drawing on the French legal system, which has impact-ed the development of pertinent legislation in those countries substantially. Our research is qualitative and analytic in nature, and it is based on legislation, textbooks, journals, and official governmental publications. It helps to raise knowledge about the legal implications of public transportation.","PeriodicalId":160994,"journal":{"name":"Al Hikmah International Journal of Islamic Studies and Human Sciences","volume":"84 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127534918","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Moreover, one of IHRM practices which is Islamic promotion practice has not been studied in previous researches. Thus, this is the impetus of this study. As many previous studies have engaged quantitative method in attaining their research objectives, this study tries to contribute to the body of knowledge by engaging qualitative method whereby semi-structured interviews are conducted with the top management and exec-utives of ten public agencies. Five interviews are allocated to each awarded and non-awarded public organizations. The purpose is to examine the similarities and differ-ences of these public agencies and between different types of informant. The results found similarities and differences among the awarded and non-awarded public agen-cies. The result shows that majority of the awarded public organizations agreed that the implementation of IHRM practices in the organizations has enhanced innovation. The findings of this study indicate that IHRM practices should continue to be imple-mented in Malaysian public service as it contributes to increasing innovation at the workplace.","PeriodicalId":160994,"journal":{"name":"Al Hikmah International Journal of Islamic Studies and Human Sciences","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127868045","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the missing sources and the sources in the form of a manuscript are indicated in the footnote of the study. Additionally, the study referenced the information once from the book “Maʿrifat Anwāʿ ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth\", and from the source which the information was taken from. It also indicated the name of Sheikhs whom he met and heard from, and those who he has quoted from, as well as those who he quoted from them without mentioning the source. The study provided a brief biography of all of them. The researcher raised two problems: Why did Ibn al-Salah’s book \"Maʿrifat Anwāʿ ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth\" received massive attention from scholars? What is the scientific value of the sources that Ibn al-Salah relied upon in writing the knowledge of the types of hadith sciences? Regarding the objectives, this research aims to: inventory the sources that Ibn Al-Salah relied upon in his book \"ʿUlūm al-Ḥadīth.\", and to show the value of these sources and their relationship in this science. The researcher concluded that the sources on which Ibn al-Salah relied upon, are strong, authentic, and varied. He was distinguished by the accuracy of his attribution of information to its sources, of which the written books amounted to one hundred and twenty-eight books, and the heard are eight Sheikhs. However, the sources that he did not mention were fifteen. Also, by his saying “Roweyna” he referred to what he heard from his Sheikhs, not directly from that scholar, and he mentioned some books that are important, but they are missing or in the form of manuscript.","PeriodicalId":160994,"journal":{"name":"Al Hikmah International Journal of Islamic Studies and Human Sciences","volume":"56 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133644955","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Holy Qur’an discussed all aspects of life, showing the aspect of health and corruption in each aspect, whether related to the interest of the individual and the group, the present and the future, and it is the same as what scholars called the science of legitimate purposes, and they gathered them in five: preserving religion, mind, money, soul, and offspring, this science pursues and takes into account the interests, and repels the harmful. During the recitation of the Noble Qur’an, the reader stands on some verses that seem contradictory, so he goes back to the interpretation, clarifying their meanings, as it caused him a problem in understanding, as it is thought that they contradict, and it is only an apparent contradiction. The door opens to many questions and deductions, stemming from the same text. Their understanding raises hatred towards the Jews and the Christians, which eventually leads to intolerance acts. The question to be answered by this article is how the maʻnā-cum-magzā approach could become an alternative method in understanding the verse, so it promotes an inclusive attitude towards the Jews and the Christians? This qualita-tive study works under the deconstructivism paradigm. The result of the study shows that the classical understanding of Q. 2:120 leads to theologically normative discourse, from which the legitimation of eternal and universal hatred against the Jews and the Christians finds its base. The maʻnā-cum-magzā approach, on the other hand, suggests that the verse should be situated in its specific socio-political context. Therefore, the Jews and the Christians mentioned by the verse refer specifically to the Jews of Medina and the Christians of Najran for their abuse of religion as the source of legitimacy for their political hegemony. The academic contribution of this study is, therefore, to pro-duce an alternative interpretation that distances the verse from the justification for hatred based on religious credentials.","PeriodicalId":160994,"journal":{"name":"Al Hikmah International Journal of Islamic Studies and Human Sciences","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130365622","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It attempts to answer an important question: do the graduates meet the demands of the labor market? Following a vigorous thematic analysis of the qualitative perceptions of the selected graduates, the study finds that there is a widening gap between the skills of the graduates and the expectations of the labor market. The paper identified several reasons for that phenomenon through critically analyzing the available data. As such, firstly, the graduates perceive that overall curriculum of the course, under which they were trained, is not compatible with the national and international standards. Secondly, the course does not focus enough on providing its students with the required level of practical training in this field of study. Thirdly, they highlighted that natural incompetency of the graduates in terms of grasping the linguistic skills also prevents some from meeting the demands of labor market. Based on the analysis, finally, the paper suggests that existing curriculum needs to be improved in line with the national and international standards and the Department should incorporate the experts of the field in that process. and this paper further recommends that student recruitment process for this course must be further scrutinized and critically reevaluated to ensure that only those who are competent, are allowed to enroll in the course.","PeriodicalId":160994,"journal":{"name":"Al Hikmah International Journal of Islamic Studies and Human Sciences","volume":"25 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-02-28","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116269462","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
