It has revolutionized the banking sector all over the world. A spectacular innovation in banking sector is to introduce Internet banking services. The aim of this study is to inspect the moderating relationship of Brand image between internet banking and customer loyalty. Design/methodology/approach: This study is conducted using positivism paradigm and deductive quantitative methods of inquiry. Data was collected in a survey from those customers who were using internet banking services in Pakistan. Questionnaire was adopted from research studies of Zeithaml et al. and Park et al. A theoretical framework is proposed to suggest the links among variables. The sample size selected for research constitutes of 437 respondents belongs to Lahore and Islamabad, from Pakistan. Simple and Moderating regression analysis is used to examine hypothesized relationship. Findings: There are two major finding the foremost, those banks who are providing internet banking services their customer are loyal with their banks, to prove this argument simple regression analysis employed result reveals that internet banking bring 94% change on customer loyalty. The second magnificent finding is to check the role of brand image as a moderator. Results prevailed that there is significant quasi moderation exist between Internet banking, and customer loyalty and prove that, if the Brand image would strong the relationship between internet banking and customer loyalty will enrich. Research limitation/Implications: Further research is indicated, to identify impact of these variables on other services provider companies of Pakistan excluding banking sector. Banking sector of Pakistan should pay more attention to enrich their brand image to enhance the customer loyalty. In order to provide a more comprehensive clarification of the perceived risks of adopting m-banking in Jordan, a more in-depth study of the characteristics of the perceived risks was conducted. The current research is designed to integrate the five dimensions of the perceived risk with the TAM in order to present a more comprehensive model of m-banking acceptance and adoption in Jordan. As such, a conceptual model and 8 hypotheses are tested with a sample of 404 mobile phone users, and analysed quantitatively. The findings of the current study provided support for the research model and for most of the hypotheses regarding the relationship among the model’s variables. In particular, the research model presented in this paper is unique in that it synergistically combines the TAM variables along with perceived benefits, the various dimensions of perceived risks, attitude and behavioral intention in evaluating the decision to adopt m-Banking.","PeriodicalId":160461,"journal":{"name":"The Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce","volume":"83 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131542965","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Extant literature finds that the use of Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) is positively related to the quality of audit reports. CAATs are widely applied to audit financial statements in developed countries. However, there is a void in literature about the audit of computerized accounts in developing countries. We draw a sample from Nigeria to investigate the following questions, “Do auditors effectively audit computerized accounts and; Is there a positive relationship between the use of CAATs and audit quality?” Using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and logistic multiple regression, we provide evidence that: (1) CAATs are effectively used, (2) there is a positive relationship between the use of CAATS and audit quality, and (3) in a sample that excludes the big 4 International audit firms, local Nigerian firms are not effective in applying CAATs, and so, do not produce quality audit reports.","PeriodicalId":160461,"journal":{"name":"The Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126217229","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For this reason WLANs consist of several Access Points (APs). As a consequence, to this spread of APs, there has been also a substantial increase in energy consumption and economic costs. In order to address this problem, this paper introduces a solution for an energy-aware management of WLANs in enterprises. The proposed solution considers the instantaneous traffic intensity and switches on and off the APs according to the distance value of the client with respect to the AP. The results of real test-bed scenarios reveal that the proposed approach obtains promising performance.","PeriodicalId":160461,"journal":{"name":"The Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130960322","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The cost inefficiency and profit efficiency are observed slightly higher for PBs than NCBs. The average technical and allocative efficiency are found 75.4% and 35.9% respectively by cost DEA; while 74.0% and 31.8% for profit DEA. By profit DEA, on an average bank-wise and year-wise productivity change, efficiency change and technical efficiency change are found higher than cost DEA. The average cost and average profit efficiency is observed 28.7% and 24.2% respectively. Bank-wise average productivity change and technical efficiency change are decreased at 4.2% and 5.1% respectively whereas the efficiency change is increased at 0.9% in profit DEA. The bank-wise productivity change and technical efficiency change and efficiency change are recorded decreased at 8.4%, 6.2% and 1.8% respectively in cost DEA. It is expected that there exist a huge gap among NCBs in terms of cost efficiency, so NCBs should decrease cost after performing adequate inquiries so that these cost could be recovered.","PeriodicalId":160461,"journal":{"name":"The Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133344537","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Recent advancements in the development of 21st century banking systems and competition in the banking industry has forced many banks in developing countries to import and use systems designed for the western banking markets and operations. This study investigated the contextual factors impacting adoption, implementation and usage of these western designed software packages in developing countries through a case study of the implementation of Oracle FLEXCUBE at a bank in Cameroon. A mixed-method design approach and triangulation of two technology adoption theories underpinned the research design. Findings revealed significant impact of contextual factors on the implementation process and unexpected trust for western designed software packages compared to local alternatives. Results also show that preference and trust in western designed banking systems cannot be solely explained by constructs from technology adoption theories. Implications and recommendations for future implementations of western designed software packages in similar contexts are discussed.","PeriodicalId":160461,"journal":{"name":"The Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce","volume":"22 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-21","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131733105","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The researcher used primary data collected through administered structured questionnaire. The researcher employed the SPSS (16.0) for descriptive statistical analysis and the Structural Equation Model (SEM) as statistical test tool using AMOS (16.0). By extending the TAM, the study concluded that customers’ educational attainment directly influence customers’ perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use and through these indirectly influence the level of adoption of e-banking by customers. The results of this study provides solid ground for developing appropriate marketing strategies to encourage the adoption of e-banking by the Nigerian banking customers. The study recommended that banks use different customers’ educational attainment levels as e-banking product designing tool, thus making adoption easier and faster; and Government should make efforts to improve the level of literacy, especially computer literacy among citizens. This will make it easier for customers to operate, interact and access e-banking platforms in Nigeria.","PeriodicalId":160461,"journal":{"name":"The Journal of Internet Banking and Commerce","volume":"47 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2015-10-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129945532","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
