The research used qualitative methods with 12 respondents who live in Tasikmadu Village. The results of the research show that in financial management fishing families do not record income and income, budget and make shopping lists. Deliberation with your partner is carried out to decide on mutual needs and prioritize needs over desires. When income increases, fishermen tend to realize needs that have been postponed, invest in jewelry and land, and save independently. The internalization of economic education in fishing families is mostly carried out by example through real practice in production and consumption activities, verbal explanations in the form of advice, as well as behavioral demands that are relevant to economic topics and open to the family's financial condition. Pocket money is a learning medium to provide confidence in managing children's money, advise children in determining their personal needs, teach them to save and set aside pocket money, and teach children discipline in carrying out consumption activities, such as asking permission.","PeriodicalId":160290,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational Analytics","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139200947","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One’s openness to change is one of the many elements contributing to an effective change. There is a need for a capable instrument to assess openness to change within the higher education sector. This study investigates the scale developed by Miller for use in Indonesia. The research matches its findings with the pioneering work, offering insight into the CFA analyses performed. The findings revealed results on scale adaptation, substantiating its strong validity, internal consistency, and reliability. The scale contributes considerably to the academic discourse around transformational dynamics within higher education institutions by providing a tangible method for assessing their openness to change.","PeriodicalId":160290,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational Analytics","volume":"40 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-07","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139285816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study aims to determine the application of Bruner's theory in improving student mathematics learning outcomes. This study used qualitative research methods. Students learn through active engagement with concepts and principles, and teachers encourage students to gain experience by engaging in activities that allow them to discover concepts and principles for themselves. In using Brunner's theory in geometric learning it can be said to be successful because it helps students to understand and recognize the parts of geometric shapes and geometric materials. Based on these results, it means that the application of Bruner's theory can improve student learning outcomes in elementary school geometric learning.","PeriodicalId":160290,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational Analytics","volume":"631 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127790854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The research aims to increase student learning activities using the PBL model. This is classroom action research, carried out in the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research approach is both qualitative and quantitative. The results of the study show that the use of the PBL model in integrated thematic learning can increase student learning activities, and students are able to work together with their group members, which ultimately leads to an increase in student learning abilities in integrated thematic subjects. The results showed an increase in student learning activity from 63% in cycle I to 93% in cycle II. It was concluded that the use of the PBL model was very effective in increasing student learning activities.","PeriodicalId":160290,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Educational Analytics","volume":"5 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-05","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122205472","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
