He believed that Islamic law is not a Divine law and that Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) had no role as a legislator. Schacht’s writings influenced many Western scholars, many of whom subscribe to his thesis. Additionally, he derived necessary references to Quranic verses along with the syntactic views in quite expressive and simple manner. Thus, his remarkable tafsīr; tafsīr al-tibyān al-Qur’ān, and more particularly his prelude/preface, expounds on the issues faced by ordinary people and makes valuable addition in layman understanding about the meaning of the text. In this write up, arguments of Imam Sha’rani and Shah Wali Ullah have been discussed and compared to create jurisprudential conformity which is crucial to create unanimity in Muslim societies, to solve present sectarian issues, development of mutual respect and eradication of narrow-mindedness and intolerance. The study has adopted descriptive and analytical approach to make a comparative analysis of Ghazalian concept of nafs e lawwamma and Freudian superego.  Zepetnek’s (1998) theory of comparative literature has provided the guidelines for an in depth analysis of both the models.  This analytical approach may lead to an alternative critical agenda for the better understanding of human psyche. Moreover, the present study emanates from the assumption that though Freudian psychoanalytic theory has provided insightful psychological considerations, equally appropriate readings will possibly result from analyzing Ghazalian theory of soul. As different Models of Assessment and Evaluation have been devised for the translations of various types of text such as literary, religious, and technical, hence translation is not mere transfer of words and meanings but the whole culture and connotations of the text need to be transferred. The research study is unique in that it deals with the evaluation of the holy Words of Allah, the Qur’an.  To assess the Urdu Translations of the Qur’an, we have selected Julian House Model for Assessment and Evaluation. Furthermore, the study has been narrowed down to Surat Dhuha (93). The inimitability of Qur'anic style may be grasped only after an in-depth analytical study of Quran. During my research, I observed that the diversity of agent by the status is profoundly linked to the polysemy of the Qur'anic verses. Hence the current study identifies some of the wonders of inimitable style of the Holy Qur'an. This article comprises of preface and three sections. The preface contains a brief theoretical study about the agent by the status, the first section is about the diversity between two agents in terms of being the noun and verb.
