The used Cartesian coordinates of the Alphasat satellite (given one week in advance in the OEM files of 5 minute resolution) are described. The coordinates conversion to the elevation and azimuth from the perspective of the receiver in Prague is added and described. This satellite motion causes some problems with signal reception - automatic antenna tracking is required or at least the antenna beam width extension. We found that the elevation of the Alphasat currently fluctuates up to 2,5°; in the case of azimuth it is up to 0.5° in Prague. The time period of these changes is 23 hours and 56 minutes. And more, also long-term trends of elevation/azimuth are described in this contribution.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"125 1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116265073","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This research extends our previous study oriented on language model speaker adaptation for transcription of Slovak parliament proceedings with available speaker-specific text data. We used a large corpora for retrieving semantically similar subset of text documents for each speaker to adjust parameters of an existing well-trained language model to a specific speaker speaking style. The same large corpora was used to build original topic-specific model of the Slovak language deployed in our automatic subtitling system. In the proposed framework, the latent semantic indexing was implemented to retrieve the subset of semantically similar documents. The output hypotheses from the first step of speech recognition were used to identify patterns between terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text documents. Preliminary results show a slight improvement in speech recognition accuracy for individual speaker in fully automatic subtitling of parliament speech, broadcast news TV shows and TEDx talks.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128100854","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The dependence was evaluated on a homogeneous slab model of the heart wall, with local membrane properties determined by modified FitzHugh-Nagumo model. Simulation results reveal that stimulation current density threshold depends proportionally on diffusivity related to tissue conductivity and on membrane excitation threshold. It is also inversely proportional to stimulation electrode radius. The critical radius of the stimulation electrode for the given model parameters estimated to be 0.8 mm was compared with simulation results. Stimulation electrodes with smaller radius are ineffective in eliciting excitation in the cardiac tissue.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"284 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133078991","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The paper explores the performance of ODAC adapted into a traffic light head in order to enable transferring information from the infrastructure to the vehicle (I2V). The performance of such a scenario is shown by reconstructing error as a function of emitter placement, LED's half power angle (HPA) and receiver's field of view (FOV). The obtained results reveal that ODAC performance strictly depends on geometrical deployment. Moreover, increasing signal frequency additionally introduces noticeable signal distortion.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130394850","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Sometimes is desirable to improve precision of edge detector to sub-pixel range. In our paper we deal with precise localization of edge which is moving during the exposure time. For such the edges we tested three edge detectors with sub-pixel precision in 1-D images: algorithm that uses function erf to approximate real image samples and two edge detectors based on gray level and spatial moments of the image function. This paper presents results of simulations with noisy images, we have chosen the standard deviation of error of edge position as the precision criterion.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129609381","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The bandpass filter is designed using 7th order short circuited stub filter. Then, the first short circuited stub is replaced with two sections of open circuited stub to exhibit the transmission zeros at lower/higher stopband. The integration with notch filter is realized using U-shape Defected Microstrip Structure (DMS) with varactor diode. By properly varying the DC bias voltages, the notch response can be tuned over a constant bandwidth of around 17%. The experimental result shows that the bandwidth of the wideband bandpass filter is between 2.9 GHz - 5.8 GHz. The notch's tuning range from 4 GHz to 5 GHz is achieved using varactor diode respectively. This type of filter is suitable for applications such as the multi-service and multiband communication system in order to discriminate the undesired signals.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131306219","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

From technical and economical points of view, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) is one of the promising technologies in this field. This paper deals with the study of performances of this technology for these purposes. For the indoor localization, a received signal strength indication (RSSI) method is used. It was tested in ideal (anechoic chamber) and real (in the office) environment conditions. For the measurement campaign and evaluation of the obtained results a generic framework is proposed. Experimental results (simulation vs. measurement) show similar behaviour of the BLE technology in ideal (no signal reflection) and real (multipath propagation) transmission environments.","PeriodicalId":159747,"journal":{"name":"2016 26th International Conference Radioelektronika (RADIOELEKTRONIKA)","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2016-04-19","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"122516320","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
