Recently MANETs are also used in real-time communications such as audio phone calls. In this paper, we investigate the performance of an outdoor stairs MANET test bed for different scenarios considering throughput and packet loss. We analyze the behavior of Optimized Link State Routing (OLSR) protocol. Despite the great advances in computer graphics and multimedia technologies, there is still a lack in the definition and building of a complete 3D object management system, in order to efficiently store, manage and retrieve such objects. In this paper a novel data model and a building and querying language for 3D objects are presented. This preliminary environment has been properly designed to be sufficiently powerful for including the functionalities and characteristics of modern 3D description languages, such as X3D and Collada, and at same time provides a formalism for optimization aims. In fact, in the earthquake, there were many areas in the coast side of northern Japan where is isolated because of the damages, blackouts, and congestions of network information systems. In case of such a large-scale disaster, it is important to keep connectivity to avoid the isolation from other areas, and to reactivate network connections quickly within disaster areas such as between evacuation shelters and disaster headquarter. In this paper, Never Die Network consisted of cognitive wireless networks and satellite system that we have proposed is introduced, and the evaluations are held in assumptions of rural areas such as the coast cities of Iwate Prefecture where heavily disaster by Japan Earthquake and Tsunami on March 11th, 2011. The limited natural resources require efficient methods and systems for recycling and processing of the wastes for a better environment. One of the problems today is the processing of the kitchen garbage, because when they become in large amounts in small areas, the natural capacity of the environment can not assimilate them. Therefore, construction of the recycling systems is needed to save the resources and minimize the wastes. For this reason, in this paper, we have proposed and implemented waste management robots, which can change the kitchen garbage to compost. Then, the compost can be mixed with the ground and used for growing of vegetables and other plants. The proposed system uses the information network, sensor technology and robot technology. The system makes it possible to construct database to model higher-level human behaviors that are utilized in context-aware services. The system has two input methods, i.e., on-the-fly by a smart phone and post-processing by a PC browser. On the PC, users can interactively know where and when they were, which results in easily and accurately constructing human behavior database. To decrease numbers of operations, users' repetitions and similarity of among users are used. Distributed computing started with the cluster followed by the grid and is now in the era of cloud computing, where most of the services are accessed, by few clicks. In cloud, services are invoked on demand and there is no need of dedicated resources. It demands the availability of resources(i.e. logical resources), in order to fulfill the user requirements. To make this feasible, on-demand availability of logical resources (LR) is preferred. This work proposes an \"OndemandLogical Resource Replication Scheme\" (OLRRS) for file replication. OLRRS approach provides migration, access and performance transparency to the system, thereby ensuring the migration decisions about the files. It is also responsible for replicating the file, from one peer server to the other peer server, when the total number of request, on a peer server, for transferring a file reaches the threshold value. The scheme is simulated on JAVA platform and tested on a private cloud. Our aim is to take advantage of these works as much as possible for the purpose of modelling and representing information and knowledge of collaborative learning in the context of online web forums. To this end, an ontological framework that allows for representing information about collaborative activities realized using online web forums has been created and used to support the virtualization of collaborative sessions, creating animated storyboards that reproduce collaborative sessions from the web forums of virtual classrooms. Even though the information from the framework has proven to be enough to create animated storyboards, we realized that certain emotional information about the opinion (or the sentiment) of each user would be very useful in improving the final representation of the information. This paper presents an extension of a previous ontological framework to include emotional information about the sentiment and opinion of students when collaborating. Agent technology provides asynchronous mechanisms that could represent the best choice for effective programming of Cloud, due to the unpredictable behaviour of the network. Cloud Agency is a collection of agent based services for provisioning, monitoring and autonomic reconfiguration of Cloud resources at infrastructure level, which go beyond the common offer by commercial providers and by open Cloud technologies. In this work we describe how Cloud Agency extends the Open Cloud Computing Interface (OCCI[1]) proposal of standard for the Cloud infrastructures level. We can create 3DCG animation even at the level of individuals by using commercially available software tools. Creating 3DCG animation, however, demands a variety of expertise and a mastery of 3DCG authoring tools. Therefore, people may easily be bothered for creating 3DCG animation contents. To solve the problem, we designed and developed a system allowing even novices to create 3DCG animation contents without special knowledge and programming skills. The proposed method uses Inverse Kinematics (IK) and Interactive Evolutionary Computation (IEC) for readily designing and generating avatar motions. The system only requires users to indicate some evaluation values and creates their preferable avatar motions based on the specified values.
