The article reviewed some written literature on the Economic Belt Initiative and the New Silk Road, from various perspectives, to expand the discussion spaces around it. The article touched on historical developments in the vision of the Chinese leaders that followed at the state and the level of the Communist Party of China, and the continuous development of ideas and visions, through various institutions, including scientific and academic institutions, through conferences, seminars and research, which were finally summarized in the historical formulation For the Economic Belt Initiative and the New Silk Road. The article presents the clear impact of the new ideas of economic openness, and the broad process of reform in the Chinese economy, which gave the socialist system the Chinese personality, drawn from Chinese philosophy, wisdom, and civilization deeply rooted in history. The article was also exposed to the major coup d'état caused by the Economic Belt Initiative and the New Silk Road, in familiar concepts and methods, and classical economic development theories, and focused on bias for experimental theory, according to strategic visions, and boldness not without cautious adventure. The article also discussed the research vision in the authors' assumption that the Belt and Road Initiative provided China with a good opportunity to highlight its contribution to presenting a new formulation of international political economy from an empirical conceptual standpoint at all levels and at the economic, political and social levels as well as at the level of international relations. Finally, the article discussed features of the amazing successes of the initiative, on the ground, as an introduction to incite the expansion of discussion, among academic researchers, writers and politicians, in order to further shed light on this historical station, in the development of human civilization, in both theory and practice, whether It was a difference or an agreement about it.","PeriodicalId":157126,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of History and Cultural Studies","volume":"65 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133408512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Since no nation, society community, or person is an island, people get to interrelate either politically, economically, or socially. Africa being a host to thousands of ethnic groups, there is copious evidence of formal relations between the different people in the precolonial, colonial and the postcolonial eras. These relations transcended periods of peace and war with intermediary phases of tensions and negotiations. Thus, societies never existed in seclusion but maintained relations that were either hostile or cordial. In establishing intergroup relations among the Yoruba and Hausa communities in Agege, Gatawa articulates several factors that fashioned the relations between the Hausa and other ethnic communities in Agege submitting that the long established commercial relationship between the Hausa and Yoruba in Agege over the centuries had brought about inter-ethnic marriages evident in the several Hausa prominent personalities in Agegeand Lagos, who are maternally Yoruba. 1","PeriodicalId":157126,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of History and Cultural Studies","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131028369","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They prefer to roam around and explored the unknown environment in their vicinity and beyond. They strolled over the land and later devised certain techniques and innovations that could help them to move faster to long distances. The wheelswhich eased the potters‟ work later became the most important tool that could ensure speed to their mobility. The development of various transportation modalities, all though the ages, could be seen in this context. Like the invention of wheel, the use of steam power had also transformed the human quest for rapid and effective methods for moving vehicles. Though steam driven devices had existed even in 1 st century AD, the first commercially used device came into vogue only in 1698 whenan English engineer Thomas Savery invented „engine‟. As it was a big boon to the miners in their work, it was called as „miners‟ friend‟. It was a pump, worked by using steam power, to create a vacuum to draw water from flooded mines and it was of great help to the miners.","PeriodicalId":157126,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of History and Cultural Studies","volume":"74 3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115076026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The Oromo are the largest single ethnic group in Ethiopia, constituting roughly one third of the population. These latemedieval Annunciations also incorporate very frequently a bed, a detail that, on the contrary, has not deserved so much attention by the specialists. In fact, this bed has gone unnoticed by many art historians and, when some of them mention it, they either consider it a mere compositional or decorative detail with no significant value, or interpret its meaning gratuitously without any documentary basis.","PeriodicalId":157126,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of History and Cultural Studies","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126645939","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
