Several studies have been performed to increase potato production, following different approaches. Biostimulants are magic biomolecules that carry unique traits, allowing them to perfectly fit the mission of augmenting crops’ immunity for surviving various provenances of cruel stresses. The current work proposed a modern trend, aiming to take advantage of a research based, new commercially-produced biofertilizer; TAM® (True-Algae-Max), in a trial to evaluate its potentiality for substituting conventional N, P, and K fertilization practice. TAM® is a seaweed extract, distinguished to own an abundancy in biomolecule constituents like; Milbemycin-oxime; 5-Silaspiro [4.4] nona-; Rhodopin; Nonadecane, while also been recognized for its richness in other nutritious biomolecules. Spunta cultivar was treated with three treatments; (1) T1: NPK100%, (2) T2: NPK50%+TAM2.5 mL L -1 , and (3) T3: NPK50%+TAM 5 mL L -1 , to figure out the best doses for boosting potato yield production, quality, besides biochemical and physiological traits. Resulted data endorsed that TAM® could successfully enhance potato production under field conditions, and intensify its fundamental elements constitution. It is apparently that biomolecules-rich biologically-derived fertilizers would, undoubtedly, stand for novel reliable supplements, in the coming future of producing safe crops, to secure clean global alimentary needs, following environ-mentally friendly managements. .","PeriodicalId":156935,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Advances in Agricultural Researches","volume":"1050 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116281438","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The chemical composition of the seeds with high oil content is related to specific processes occurring in the seeds during storage. In this trial, Giza45, Giza92, Giza94 and Giza96 cotton cultivars were submitted to accelerated aging for three and five days, and natural aging for 6 and 18 months, under controlled and conventional (non-controlled) conditions. Increasing accelerated aging period from 0 to 3 and 5 days caused decreased in germination%, seedling vigor, protein% and oil%. While, increased electrical conductivity, moisture%, acidity and free fatty acid. Generally increasing storage period reduced seed germination%, seedling vigor, oil% and protein%. While, increased electrical conductivity, moisture%, acidity and free fatty acid. Controlled conditions 42%RH gave the highest viability and seedling vigor during storage period up to 18 months compared to other storage conditions. Giza92 and Giza94 cultivars greater resistance to germination loss in artificial and natural aging than the other cultivars and gave the highest seed viability (as a results of the high seed germination%, lowest electrical conductivity, acidity % and free fatty acid). The losses of vigor, poor germination, weak and abnormal seedling are associated with an increase in the free fatty acids that produce deleterious effects on cell.","PeriodicalId":156935,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Advances in Agricultural Researches","volume":"96 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131618367","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The government has adopted policies to limit the areas planted with the rice crop due to the water challenges facing Egypt, which led to a decrease in the cultivated area of it and then the total production and the emergence of a food gap that resulted in the transformation of foreign trade from export to import. In light of this, the research aimed to identify the production and consumer situation, technological efficiency, foreign trade, and then the food gap, in order to identify the most important factors through which self-sufficiency rates can be raised. It was found that the area and productivity, and then production, took a general declining trend during the period (2000-2020) with an annual decreasing rate estimated at about 1.5%, 0.33%, and 1.8%, respectively. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which is a decrease in the costs of irrigation using solar energy on the crops of the study sample compared to irrigation with diesel energy, an increase in the net return in the case of solar irrigation compared to the diesel energy in the study sample for crops wheat, barley, sugar beet, alfalfa, potatoes, peanuts, date palm by about 40.5%, 28.2%, 12.7%, 44.9%, 7.4%, 11.4%, 13.9% respectively, and the use of solar energy in plant production in the Farafra region led to a decrease in the amount of carbon dioxide emissions compared to the case of using diesel energy by about 94.37 thousand tons. Which led to a decrease in the environmental cost of treating these pollutants by about 1.09 billion EGP. The most important recommendations were to increase the facilities granted to investors to obtain loans for the use of solar energy for plant production, implement a series of indicative seminars on solar energy to increase the awareness and knowledge space among investors, and the most important problems of using solar energy in plant production in Farafra In the decrease in the efficiency of operation and water flow in the winter by about 20-30%, with a relative importance of about 73.8%, the costs of establishing a solar energy unit for owners of small and medium spaces increased with a relative importance of about 54.1%.","PeriodicalId":156935,"journal":{"name":"Journal of the Advances in Agricultural Researches","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-07-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130831068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
