Suama, Lili Darlian","doi":"10.46576/wdw.v17i2.3172","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.46576/wdw.v17i2.3172","url":null,"abstract":"- This research aims to find out how the POE (Predict-Observe-Explain) learning model contributes to understanding the concept of circulation system material at SMAN 1 Konawe. This type of research is a Quasi Experimental research using the Nonequivalent Control Group Design research design. The population of this study were all students of class XI MIPA at SMAN 1 Konawe who were enrolled in the 2021/2022 school year which consisted of two classes with a total of 50 students. The research instrument used was a student concept comprehension test consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. The data analysis technique used is (1) Descriptive analysis is used as a method of data analysis to provide an overview of conceptual understanding. (2) testing the research hypothesis with inferential analysis. Descriptive analysis shows that the experimental class is better at understanding concepts than the control class, with an average value of 82.08 compared to 73.46 for the control class. If the results of the hypothesis test show that t hit = 5 and t tab = 1.67, then H1 is accepted. The assembling section will receive medical record files from the service unit. After arriving at the assembling unit, the medical record file will be sorted, evaluated and returned to the room concerned. If it is not complete, an incomplete medical record document will use a control card to control it. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of assembling inpatient medical record files at X Hospital, Batam. This type of research was descriptive by observing the assembling activities of medical record files. In fact, today's English is needed along with the development of information and communication technology and the strong currents of globalization that make the world seem limitless. Therefore this study aims to improve students' ability to read English using the scaffolding method. The research was conducted on grade X SMA Harapan 3 Medan using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Based on the results of classroom action carried out in 2 cycles on grade X SMA Harapan 3 Medan, it shows that the scaffolding method is proven to improve students' English reading skills. Based on the results of the actions in Cycle I, it is known that the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes is 60%. Whereas in cycle II the completeness of students learning outcomes increased to 80%. While the average value of the two cycles shows that there were 24 students (80%) who experienced completeness, while only 6 students (20%) did not experience mastery in the material for students' English reading ability by using the Scaffolding method.
