In this research, it is aimed to determine the determinants of service quality perceived by fitness center members. Scanning model from quantitative research methods was used in the research. The study group consisted of 49 women and 54 men in total 103 members who participated the research voluntarily and were selected through an easily accessible sample. Data were collected by survey. SportFitness Centers Perceived Service Quality Scale (SFM-HSQ) developed by Uçan (2007) and personal information form were used. A statistically significant difference was found in all sub-dimensions as a result of the analysis made for the independent variables of gender, evaluation of the fee given to the sports facility and having received sports service from another sports facility in the past (p <0.05). When the arithmetic averages are examined, it is seen that for all sub-dimensions male have higher scores for the gender argument. It is seen that the group's service quality perception is higher when the facility fee argument is not expensive in all sub-dimensions. The service quality perception of the group who said yes in all subdimensions of sports service from another sports facility was higher than the other. As a result of the analysis performed for the education levels independent variable, a statistically significant difference was found in output quality, exercise tools and equipment and program quality sub-dimensions (p <0.05). It is seen that the statistical difference between the output quality and the sub-dimensions of exercise tools and equipment are among the high school-graduate groups. When the arithmetic averages were examined, it was found that the scores of the postgraduate students were higher. It is seen that the statistical difference in the program quality sub-dimension is among the high school license groups. When the arithmetic means were examined, it was determined that the scores of the undergraduate students were higher. Although mobile phone addiction is still not listed as a category in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition (DSM-5; APA, 2013), it is increasingly mentioned in several studies. Basic indicators identified for psychological dependencies such as persistent failed attempts, preoccupation, loss of sense, tolerance, and withdrawal symptoms are also mentioned as psychological symptoms of mobile phone addiction. The Adapted Mobile Phone Use Habits (AMPUH) and The Adapted Cell Phone Addiction Test (ACPAT) are two inventories for assessing the psychopathological behavior associated with mobile phone use. The present study aims to test the psychometric properties of the AMPUH and the ACPAT in Turkish culture. For this purpose, in addition to the AMPUH and ACPAT scales, Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale (RSES), and Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression (CES-D) are applied to university students (N = 261) and adults (N = 298) in two separate studies. The reliability and validity analyses showed that both scales are reliable and valid in Turkish culture. Beyond the heavy burden of all vital difficulties and limitations caused by the exile event, the constant feeling of homelessness, inaccessibility of the motherland, and the vitality of memories, the losses during exile have a shocking effect on the individuals. The therapeutic effect of time can not explain the recovery from the psychological effects of losing the closest relative (mother, father, brother, grandfather, grandmother, etc.) in a locked and wrecked wagon. A total of 59 Ahiska Turks, who had lost their relatives and witnessed these losses, were interviewed. The age of the participants ranged from 75-94. The feelings and thoughts of the participants about the pre-exile life, exile life, after exile life, today's life and future life were recorded by a video. The face-to-face interviews took an average of one to two hours. Qualitative analysis of video recordings was performed with MAXQDA 12, and a total of 182 memo records were recorded. It was observed that there were losses in the four groups: Relatives who died in the war while in exile, relatives who died in wagons on the journey of exile, relatives who did not return from the military and lost and relatives who died immediately after the exile. In all design disciplines, a design problem starts in the mind of each designer, and then completed by reaching the final product using different approaches. Design education is conducted primarily in design studios. In Bauhaus education, a method where students could demonstrate their creative potential through visual and critical theory education was adopted. Although Bauhaus approach was methodological, the students were instructed to learn through analysis and developing their own products, not through copying. Although Bauhaus's master-apprentice relationship is transformed into a teacher-student relationship today, the master-apprentice relationship continues in a sense. Bauhaus schools, which argued that handicraft could be learned, but not artistic skills, adopted learning by doing, current students experience learning through threedimensional models the produce under the supervision of experienced studio practices. The quest for innovation, which is at the core of design education, is attempted to improve the process. In the present study, the freshmen landscape design education studio at Karadeniz Technical University, Department of Landscape Architecture was analyzed. Landscape architects work in close relationship with the environmental and water resources in urban areas. Thus, the first project in landscape architecture undergraduate education is on “producing spaces that touch water.” The present study was conducted to emphasize the significance of water in life for students and to achieve improvements in the planning and design stages, and it was considered an important application in the stage of professional development in social awareness. The research data were collected with the measurement tool prepared by the researchers. “The Views on the Education Received in Material Science Course” were tried to be measured with 21 expressions and the data of the measurement tool applied to the sample of the study was analyzed using the statistical package program “SPSS 25”. Fathers are impressed by various factors on practising parenting; mothers’ characteristics have an important place among these factors. In case of being supperted by wife, fathers comfortably display their paternal behaviours and it is seen that fathers’ competencies doesn’t differ from mothers’ competencies. Thus for fathers, in the matter of displaying parenting, getting involved in the life of their children, in brief, displaying father involvement, the concept of “maternal gatekeeping” confronts us as a concept to consider. Even though the concept of maternal gatekeeping is evaluated differentially (discouragement, encouragement, control etc.), constitutively this concept imports mothers’ behaviours which limits father-child interaction and accessibility of fathers for children. However, this concept have been studying for last few years in our country and there is very few study on this subject. Thus it is thought that, this study will contribute crucially to literature. The aim of this study is to evaluate maternal gatekeeping behaviour of mothers who have children in primary school, to evaluate this behaviour by reports of mothers own and to reveal whether maternal gatekeeping is differentiated in terms of various demographic variables. The sample of this study consists of 173 mothers who is married, have 7-11 age children in primary school and volunteer to join this study. Demographic Information Form and Maternal Gatekeeping Scale for Primary School-Mother Form are used as a measurement tool in this study. Measurement tools are transmitted to mothers by the students in a primary school (by getting permission from the school to apply the forms). Mesaurement tools are also collected in the same way. As a result of analyses it is revealed whether maternal gatekeeping is differentiated according to gender of child, educational status of mother, educational status of husband (father), economic situation of family. Besides correlations between maternal gatekeeping and some variables such as age of mothers, age of fathers, age of children, total of education years of mothers, total of education years of fathers, number of children, total of marriage years, daily and weekly working hours of fathers, are examined. In the study, the metaphorical perception of the students has been tried to be evaluated in the frame of two criteria which are “class level and gender”. 29 students from the 5 grade, 39 students from the 6 grade, 70 students from the 7 grade, 87 students from the 8 grade and in total 225 students participated in the study. 124 of these students are female and 101 of them are male students. For the study, “designation of metaphorical perception activity worksheet has been prepared and delivered to the students by the researcher”. In the study, the metaphors that students developed for the notion of “library” have been tabulated in the frame of class level and gender criteria, placed in the specified notional categories, then all developed metaphors have been evaluated in terms of being positive and negative regarding the class level and gender criteria, and the common metaphors used by the male and female students at the same class level and all levels have been designated. Besides, the “because” sentences that students used when explaining their developed metaphors for the “library” notion have also been categorized for the all class levels taking the gender criterion into consideration. All obtained data have been presented respectively with tables in the findings part of the study. Qualitative research methods were used in the research designed as case study. Research was carried out with one participant in order to realize in-depth and process orientated analysis. Participant-teacher was selected according to the purposive sampling method, the criteria of selection were to be in the first year in the profession, to be open to share her work and to be willing to participate to the research. Selection and implementation of data collection tools were carried out in accordance with the reflective model. Data were collected by video and audio recordings, semi-structured interviews, observations and researcher notes. In a first interview, the functioning and the purpose of the study were explained to the participant-teacher. Then, a schematic representation of her documentational system was requested, followed by a semi-structured interview. The participant was asked to prepare a lesson plan and related lessons were video-recorded. A semi-structured interview was held on the prepared lesson plan. The experiences of the participantteacher in documentational genesis process were analyzed by using content analysis techniques and categories were created. Within these categories, the participant’s critical thinking disposition was analyzed based on the sub-dimensions of UF/EMI Critical Thinking Disposition Scale (Engagement, Maturity and Innovativeness). In this context, it was tried to find out the participant teacher’s critical thinking disposition and how she reflects these dispositions to her lessons. According to the findings, it was explored that the mathematics teacher who has just started her profession had a high level of critical thinking disposition and was following the innovations. It was observed that she gave importance to problem solving and reasoning skills in her classroom.
