Tekstil ve Malzeme Bilgisi Derslerinde Verilen Eğitimin Moda Tasarımı Öğrencilerinin Malzeme ve Aksesuar Seçimine Katkısının İncelenmesi

Abstract

* Corresponding Author ABSTRACT In this study, it is aimed to reveal the effect of the theoretical knowledge acquired by the undergraduate students in the fashion design departments on the selection of materials and accessories used in the field-oriented applied courses. The universe of the research is formed by students studying at the undergraduate level in Departments of Fashion Design / Fashion and Textile Design/ Textile and Fashion Design and the sample consists of 368 students studying in the Departments of Fashion Design / Fashion and Textile Design / Textile and Fashion Design in the 2017-2018 academic year. The research data were collected with the measurement tool prepared by the researchers. “The Views on the Education Received in Material Science Course” were tried to be measured with 21 expressions and the data of the measurement tool applied to the sample of the study was analyzed using the statistical package program “SPSS 25”. The frequency and percentage values of the data were found, and t-test was applied to the views of the students regarding the contribution of the education they receive in the school type and material knowledge course to the selection of materials and accessories and analyzed at P<0.05 significance level.
